About the Role

PSI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Service Department and technicians across multiple trades. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who brings both field experience and business acumen — someone who can coach technicians in the field, manage KPIs, and drive operational excellence. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations, technician performance, and department profitability while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

You’ll work closely with Dispatch, CSRs, and the General Manager to ensure the department meets its goals in customer satisfaction, revenue, and efficiency. The right candidate will have an “owner’s mindset,” holding full accountability for the team’s results and always striving to elevate performance across all trades.

What You’ll Do Here

• Lead, develop, and support multi-trade service technicians through training, coaching, and ride-alongs to ensure quality, safety, and revenue goals are met.

• Track and analyze departmental KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to boost performance and profitability.

• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard technicians in partnership with the General Manager to meet staffing and budget targets.

• Manage operational functions including technician payroll, job scheduling, and on-call rotations while ensuring “Right Tech, Right Call” efficiency.

• Collaborate with Dispatch and warehouse teams to streamline parts handling, warranty processes, and truck stock management.

• Conduct weekly team meetings and ongoing training sessions focused on technical skills, sales performance, and customer service excellence.

• 5+ years of experience in the trades industry (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred)

• 2+ years of experience managing technicians or field teams

• Proven experience analyzing and managing KPIs and department performance metrics

• Prior field experience as a technician or installer

• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities

• A valid driver’s license

What to Expect on the Job

• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, following OSHA standards and safe practices.

• Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting 50+ lbs.

• Work in various weather conditions throughout the seasons.

• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm, with occasional on-call rotation.

The pay for this position is $35-$45/hour or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location, plus performance based incentives. Other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.

The Role

PSI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. In this role, you will support the company’s growth and operational plans by continuously improving technician efficiency through proper truck stock, minimizing warehouse stockouts, accurate inventory counts, and efficient part runner dispatching. You will ensure new vehicles are fully stocked, onsite, and ready for new team members as they come onboard. Additionally, you will maintain strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationships and lead warehouse staff in creating a safe, organized, and accountable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize Truck Stock: Ensure technicians have the appropriate tools, equipment, and parts in their vehicles to complete jobs efficiently. Regularly review usage trends and adjust inventory accordingly.

• Prevent Warehouse Stockouts: Implement and maintain inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize service delays.

• Accurate Inventory Counts: Conduct routine inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain precise inventory records and reduce discrepancies.

• Efficient Part Runner Dispatching: Coordinate and prioritize part runner schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials to technicians, minimizing downtime.

• Purchasing & Special Orders: Receive, document, and process purchase orders; order tools, equipment, and special-order parts as needed to support field operations.

• Administrative & Communication Support: Accurately document incoming purchase orders and communicate via email with internal teams and vendors to assist with scheduling, deliveries, and order coordination.

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.

• Team Leadership & Safety: Manage warehouse staff and enforce safety standards, accountability, and operational best practices.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics

Licenses:

• Valid Driver’s License
