Position Overview
We are a busy and growing legal services company supporting law firms with process serving and document delivery. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Document/Intake Specialist to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, working with legal documents, and supporting a fast-paced office environment. You will work closely with our internal team to ensure that they are supported.
What You'll Do
- Review and process legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data entry to initiate, update, and close case files
- Prepare, scan, image, and upload legal documents for law firm clients
- Maintain organized digital records and case documentation
- Communicate with law firms, customers, and contract process servers regarding case updates
- Perform collection calls for past due balances when necessary
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Assist with general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of general office or administrative experience preferred
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and office software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong typing and data entry accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor when working with clients and legal professionals
Work Environment
This is an in-office position in a professional office setting.
Employees in this role:
- Work primarily at a computer workstation
- Frequently use office equipment such as scanners, printers, and imaging systems
- May occasionally move items weighing up to 10–25 pounds
- Must be able to remain seated or stationary for extended periods while working on a computer
- Must be located in the San Antonio metropolitan area with the ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time, hourly position
- $17 per hour, plus overtime
