To support this continued growth and ensure strong financial stewardship across the organization, we are seeking an Accounting Manager. This role is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for ensuring strong accounting operations, compliance, and reporting in support of Powerhouse Arts’ mission. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this position oversees PHA’s internal accounting activities across manufacturing, retail, café/hospitality, facility rentals, and grant-funded programs, and partners with colleagues across the organization to strengthen financial systems, reporting, and controls. PHA’s general ledger and combined financial statements are maintained by our external accounting partner; the Accounting Manager serves as the primary internal liaison to that partner, reviews the internal team’s work to ensure accurate and timely information flows to them, and supervises one direct report.

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range is $100,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience. To support this exciting chapter, we are seeking a VP of Institutional Advancement who will be responsible for devising, managing, and administering a multi-channel development strategy for PHA’s annual operating needs and future capital plans. Reporting to the President, this role demands a broad strategic vision and strong leadership, reflecting the critical importance of financial stability to PHA’s long-term sustainability. The ideal candidate will bring a strong record of accomplishment in strategic fundraising for non-profits in the arts, operating at an executive, organization-wide level, and supporting a diverse group of stakeholders. A core requirement of this role is the ability to create and drive a short-term and long-term strategic development plan that is specific to PHA’s needs in close partnership with the President, Senior Management Team, and the PHA board. The successful candidate will have broad existing connections to other arts organizations, individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and government agencies.

As we expand our impact, we are growing our team by hiring for key roles to support our expanding offerings. We are seeking a Ceramics Fabrication Project Manager who will oversee all aspects of project management in the ceramic studio and will play a key role in working with the Ceramics Director to facilitate client projects. The Project manager will support the daily operations of the shop’s management and will be the primary liaison between the studio and the artist. This role will be responsible for executing ceramics fabrication projects and participating in shop organization and maintenance as needed.

Hours + Compensation: The schedule for this position is an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Flexibility on evenings and weekends for events and classes is required. The salary range for this position is $70,000-77,000 annually. Benefits include health insurance, an employer-sponsored retirement plan, generous paid vacation and sick leave, and a Citi Bike membership.
