Media company Penske Media Corporation (PMC) technology team is seeking a digital Product Manager. The Product Manager will be expected to work across multiple projects and product development streams at once, supporting delivery and process improvement across teams in various locations. You’re a highly motivated self-starter who is organized, can wear many hats, loves using AI to make your job easier and outcomes better, and are passionate about digital products and growing an engaged user base.

We deliver using a combination of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) as well as more traditional project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering, design, project management and stakeholders at our brands and corporate teams to deliver new features and products.
• Use AI in your daily role and evangelize use of AI across all PMC departments. Research and recommend AI tools to empower product management and editorial workflows.
• Operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and change.
• Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and analyze data to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company (including senior executives) to prioritize features, establish project timelines, and ensure successful product delivery.
• Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators, conduct A/B tests, and iterate features to optimize user experiences.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Interact with key stakeholders at PMC’s iconic brands, working with them to understand their business goals, strategies, event cycles, and audience.

• Minimum 4 years' experience working with development projects / teams in the media, entertainment, or publishing industries.
• Excellent understanding of User Experience best practices across digital products.
• Experience using AI across key product management functions including idea generation and validation, feature prioritization, product development and optimization, workflow automation, and strategic decision-making. Candidates should be comfortable using AI not just as a tool to drive efficiency, but as a part of their problem-solving and product-thinking approach.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Agile project management.
• Experience working with technical teams and translating ‘tech speak’ to non-technical parties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams / stakeholders in multiple locations across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred: Knowledge of content management and publishing systems including WordPress.
• Preferred: Experience with project management systems and software including planning software such as JIRA / Confluence; prioritization and road mapping tools such as JIRA Product Discovery / Productboard; diagramming and presentation software such as Visio / PowerPoint / Balsamiq.

Penske Media Corporation (PMC) is currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and work on our WordPress and Laravel systems while applying artificial intelligence to modern web development.

This role is ideal for an engineer early in their career who is excited to grow their skills across the stack, learn from more experienced teammates, and use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, code quality, and understanding of complex systems. You will work with established patterns, existing architecture, and close guidance while gradually increasing your scope and independence over time.

What You’ll Do:

You will contribute to real production systems while being supported by senior engineers and established processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain WordPress plugins and Laravel applications using existing patterns and best practices
• Build and enhance frontend features using TypeScript, React, and NextJS, focusing on responsiveness, performance, and accessibility
• Contribute to AI-powered features (such as editorial tools or automation) by implementing well-defined components and integrations
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver scoped solutions
• Work with APIs connecting WordPress, Laravel, and external services, following existing designs
• Participate in CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and learn how our deployment pipelines work
• Use Docker-based development environments and assist with deployments to AWS-hosted infrastructure
• Support infrastructure and observability efforts by following documented processes and contributing small improvements
• Write tests, documentation, and pull requests, and participate in code reviews as a learner and contributor
• Assist with troubleshooting and bug fixes affecting production websites, with guidance from teammates
• Participate in team on-call rotations after onboarding, with backup and support from senior engineers

What We’re Looking For:

Required / Core Skills:

• Experience with PHP and familiarity with WordPress or Laravel (professional, academic, or personal projects)
• Basic experience with JavaScript and modern frontend development (TypeScript or React experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (such as coding assistants, AI-powered IDEs, or automated refactoring tools) as part of your regular development workflow, with an interest in learning how to apply them effectively in production environments
• Understanding of web fundamentals such as HTTP, TLS, REST APIs, and relational databases
• Awareness of accessibility and SEO best practices, with a desire to learn more
• Ability to take feedback well, ask questions, and communicate clearly with teammates

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Exposure to TypeScript, NextJS, or modern React patterns
• Experience using Docker or cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
• Familiarity with automated testing or CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with secure development practices (OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, authorization concepts)
