About us
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with deep computer vision expertise to lead the development of physics-informed predictive maintenance systems for high-value industrial equipment. Working directly with major industrial customers, you will build pipelines that fuse periodic inspection imagery with equipment operating history and physics-based inputs to predict remaining component life — helping operators reduce costly unplanned interventions and optimise asset availability.
Who we're looking for
You have a strong research foundation in computer vision and applied deep learning, and you know how to take that foundation into production on real-world industrial problems. You are energised by the challenge of building models that actually work under difficult conditions — sparse data, inconsistent image quality, and high stakes for getting it wrong. You can move fluidly between designing the right architecture and debugging a broken data pipeline.
You are comfortable working directly with domain experts and customers to translate physical intuition into modelling decisions, and you care about producing outputs that engineers can trust and operators can act on.
What you bring
- Deep expertise in selecting, adapting, and fine-tuning pretrained vision encoders (ViT, DINOv3, ResNet-family or equivalent) for industrial or scientific imaging problems where data is sparse and capture conditions are variable
- Strong command of gradient-based interpretability methods (Grad-CAM, integrated gradients) and the ability to produce sensitivity maps that make model behaviour reviewable by non-ML domain experts
- Proven ability to build joint models that combine visual features with heterogeneous inputs including tabular metadata, time-series operating history, and physics-derived signals
- Hands-on experience with probabilistic or Bayesian output modelling and calibrated uncertainty quantification
- Production ML mindset - you architect and ship reliable, scalable pipelines deployable within enterprise cloud environments, not just notebooks
- Comfort with messy, real-world industrial datasets: sparse time series, noisy labels, irregular collection intervals, and data linkage challenges
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to co-develop solutions on-site with customers
- PhD or equivalent research experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field strongly preferred
- Experience with physics-informed or hybrid ML approaches is a significant plus
- Domain experience in aerospace, energy, heavy industry, mining, or MRO is helpful but not required — genuine curiosity about engineering domains and asset-intensive operations is essential

This Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll work closely with our Data Scientists, Simulation Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering and physics challenges we are solving. You will iterate with customers and use your influence to drive decisions around reliable deployment with measurable outcomes.
- Work closely with our simulation engineers, data scientists and customers to develop an understanding of the physics and engineering challenges we are solving
- Design, build and test data pipelines for machine learning that are reliable, scalable and easily deployable
- Explore and manipulate 3D point cloud & mesh data
- Own the delivery of technical workstreams
- Create analytics environments and resources in the cloud or on premise, spanning data engineering and science
- Identify the best libraries, frameworks and tools for a given task, make product design decisions to set us up for success
- Work at the intersection of data science and software engineering to translate the results of our R&D and projects into re-usable libraries, tooling and products
- Continuously apply and improve engineering best practices and standards and coach your colleagues in their adoption
- Experience applying Machine learning methods (including 3D graph/point cloud deep learning methods) to real-world engineering applications, with a focus on driving measurable impact in industry settings.
- Experience in ML/Computational statistics/Modelling use-cases in industrial settings (for example supply chain optimisation or manufacturing processes) is encouraged.
- A track record of scoping and delivering projects in a customer facing role
- 2+ years’ experience in a data-driven role, with exposure to software engineering concepts and best practices (e.g., versioning, testing, CI/CD, API design, MLOps)
- Building machine learning models and pipelines in Python, using common libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, MLFlow)

This Role
As a Senior MLE, you'll work closely with our Data Scientists, Simulation Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering and physics challenges we are solving. You will iterate with customers and use your influence to drive decisions around reliable deployment with measurable outcomes.
You'll:
- Own the deployment of ML models and engineering surrogates (e.g., deep learning on CAE/CFD/FEA data, time‑series forecasting, anomaly detection, optimization & control) to customer production environments.
- Communicate results and trade‑offs to senior stakeholders; steer roadmaps and influence product direction with evidence.
- Lead scoping and architecture design for data/ML systems; define success metrics, delivery plans and quality bars.
- Excel at building robust and scalable ML systems, training and inference pipelines and APIs, running both on cloud and on-prem environments. The tech stack you will use for this includes: Python, PyTorch, Pandas, fastAPI, Scipy, Kubeflow, among others.
- Mentor and develop engineers and data scientists; provide technical direction and clear, calm decision‑making under pressure.
- Travel to customer sites in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, for an average of 3-4 weeks per quarter, where you'll collaborate closely with customers to build solutions on-site.

Who We’re Looking For
As a Senior CFD Engineer with deep expertise in Turbomachinery, you are a problem solver and a builder, who is passionate about creating practical solutions that enable customers to make better engineering decisions. Your focus will be on delivering accurate, insight-driven CFD analyses to support design, optimization, and performance improvement of rotating machinery. You excel at working directly with customers (often directly on-site) to build CAE models that are integrated into AI-tools that are both useful and used.
You bring deep expertise in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling, with a solid ability to apply fundamental knowledge to real-world phenomena across a wide range of engineering applications. With 3-5 years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial, non-research environment, you’re ready to hit the ground running. You’re confident setting up CFD simulations independently, interpreting complex results with depth, and making informed decisions based on solid engineering judgement.

This Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering challenges we are solving. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering meaningful results by:
- Leading the design of turbomachinery components on jet engines, including axial and centrifugal compressors from concept through detailed design that balance aerodynamic efficiency, operability, and mechanical constraints.
- Developing and execute coupled aero-thermal, aero-acoustic, and aero-mechanical CFD simulations for airfoil and flowpath geometry optimisation.
- Building robust parametric CAD models of turbomachinery blades (e.g. NX, Ansys Bladegen) coupled with simulation pipeline automation.
- Highly proficient in at least one of Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or Numeca FINE™ and adept at automating these tools to create reusable workflows for design optimization and DoE studies using MDO tools (e.g., modeFRONTIER/ESTECO, Siemens HEEDS) via APIs or scripting
- Strong expertise in meshing of turbomachinery blades and rotating components (e.g., Numeca AutoGrid, Ansys Turbogrid) or similar high-end turbomachinery meshing workflows.
- Develop and apply 1D meanline models to establish preliminary designs, generate performance maps, and validate against higher-fidelity simulations (e.g. Concepts NREC).
- Coding experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Fortran) or the ability to quickly learn programming languages, is an advantage.
Delivery Mindset
- Partner with customers to address their most complex engineering challenges through advanced CAE & AI solutions; present results clearly, recommend actionable next steps, and balance accuracy with efficiency under tight deadlines.
- Working at the intersection of CAE and Data Science to generate high-quality simulation datasets for training Machine/Deep Learning models. Leveraging data sampling techniques to efficiently capture the design space, reduce computational cost, and enhance model accuracy.

Salary range:
$150,000 - $250,000 depending on experience

Who We're Looking For
As an Simulation Engineer - FEA, you will build hands-on experience applying finite element analysis to real-world engineering challenges across multiple industries including aerospace and defense. You are someone who can grasp and apply advanced engineering concepts across multiple industries, and you excel at working directly with customers (often directly on-site) to build CAE models that are integrated into AI-tools that are both useful and used.
You bring expertise in structural mechanics, and materials science with a solid ability to apply fundamental knowledge to real-world phenomena across a wide range of engineering applications. Highly proficient in at least one of NASTRAN, ABAQUS or ANSYS Mechanical, adept at automating these tools to create scalable optimisation workflows that drive impactful results. Exposure to open-source FEA tools (CalculiX, FEniCS), or explicit dynamics (LS-DYNA, Abaqus/Explicit) is a plus. Proficiency in parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA) and coding in Python, (or the ability to quickly learn programming languages), is an advantage.
With 1-2 years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial, non-research environment, you’re ready to hit the ground running. You’re confident setting up FEA simulations independently, interpreting complex results with depth, and making informed decisions based on solid engineering judgement. Familiarity with turbomachinery analysis, gas turbine, or aircraft structural sizing is a natural fit for this role. Experience with multidisciplinary optimization (MDO) is a bonus, though not essential at this level. In addition, background in composite materials analysis alongside some exposure to damage tolerance and fracture mechanics, would be a strong fit as well.

This Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering challenges we are solving.
You’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-fidelity simulations by:
- Assist in building complex structural and multi-physics models from geometry clean-up and meshing, to simulating and post-processing complex real-world phenomena, integrating experimental data for model validation.
- Building robust parametric CAD models (NX or CATIA) coupled with simulation pipeline automation through scripting, for executing advanced design optimization and DoE studies.
- Partner with customers to address their most complex engineering challenges through advanced FEA & AI solutions; communicate results clearly
- Working at the intersection of CAE and Data Science to generate high-quality simulation datasets for training Machine/Deep Learning models. Leveraging data sampling techniques to efficiently capture the design space, reduce computational cost, and enhance model accuracy.
- Accelerate high-fidelity modelling by using Flux (our cloud platform) and on-premise HPC resources, going beyond smart meshing and model setup to achieve real performance gains.
- Document your work through clear technical reports and process notes, contributing to the team's shared knowledge base.
- Traveling domestically and globally (North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania) up to 3-4 weeks per quarter to work side-by-side with customers in building solutions on-site.
