The Role: 

Partum Health is seeking birth focused, Full Spectrum Doulas to provide personalized evidence-based, physical, emotional and educational support to birth clients in the Chicago Metro Region. The doula will play a central role in providing exceptional services to a family that transform the experience of welcoming a newborn. By providing culturally appropriate services that help a family to thrive in the earliest days the doula will empower parents as they start the journey as a bigger family. 

As part of Partum Health's mission to improve the quality of care and improve outcomes for all birthing people and their families, Partum is seeking doulas who are excited about supporting patients through Illinois newly implemented payment for services through Medicaid.  Partum will act as your partner in ensuring doulas on our team are credentialed with insurance companies and have the resources they need to deliver exceptional care.  

\As a member of the Partum Health Team, the doula will join our world class group of maternal health experts and work in collaboration with physical therapists, mental health therapists, nutritionists, IBCLCs and dedicated care coordinators- all of whom collaborate to make Partum Health’s whole person care care model for growing families a reality.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Serve as a birth / full spectrum doula to families, providing the client with emotional, physical, and educational support.
• Deliver exceptional, reliable support to clients in accordance with birth needs or pre-determined schedules.  Core responsibilities include may include (depending on role as a birth or postpartum doula)
• Provide education to patients throughout pregnancy
• Help clients prepare for labor but assisting in development of birth plans, engaging to answer questions and providing evidence based guidance to prep for birth. 
• Provide in person physical, emotional and educational support during labor and delivery
• Listen to the concerns and questions of the client and family in a kind, non-judgemental way and offer the best possible non-medical advice.
• Provide practical support and advice to the client to prepare for or after childbirth.
• Provide educational resources to inform and empower the client in their parenting and postnatal recovery, 
• Assist in whatever way possible to make the transition to parenthood easier, including but not limited to breastfeeding or feeding assistance, tidying the home, involving the other parent and or sibling(s), meal preparation
• Collaborate with the Partum Health care team to facilitate scheduling appointments as needed across our services  
• Communicate across the family’s care team to keep all informed of patient needs
• Engage with client’s on Partum Health’s HIPAA compliant messaging app by providing responses to questions as they are sent
• Keep up to date on care by conducting research, networking with other Doulas, and attending workshops and lectures
• Maintain schedule visibility and work with Partum Health team members to keep your availability up to date for current and future clients
• Conduct interviews with clients to ensure fit and align on schedules prior to formal hiring.

Qualifications and work requirements: 

• Birth Doula: Completed full spectrum certification as a doula care provider
• Willingness to maintain professional liability coverage (required)
• CPR certification (required)

The Role: 

Partum Health is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to provide personalized evidence-based care to our prenatal and postnatal clients in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas!  The Physical Therapist will work within our multidisciplinary model that brings together behavioral health specialists, lactation consultants, nutritionists, doulas and dedicated care coordinators to make Partum Health’s innovative and high impact whole person care care model for growing families a reality. 

As a valuable member of our team you’ll be responsible for delivering clinical care- in both the antepartum and postpartum period. The role includes evaluating, diagnosing, counseling, educating and treating patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth region through in-clinic and telehealth appointments.  Opportunities are available for Therapists with their own locations, where they are able to see Partum Health clients as well as virtual only providers.

• Provide direct patient care to patients on the journey to parenthood with a focus on common physical conditions associated with pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
• Provide initial evaluation of functional needs and outcomes. 
• Continually review patients functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide materials/equipment necessary to promote a successful physical therapy session with patients. 
• Practice currently accepted safety, environmental, and infection control standards. 
• Communicate via our HIPAA compliant chat with patients as needed.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of clinicians to ensure exceptional outcomes for patients.  
• Document patient education and progress in accordance with practice standards within our HIPAA compliant EHR
• Maintain professional growth in the area of educational techniques to promote quality patient education services. 
• Consistently ensure a world-class level of clinical care and patient experience; ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care; which ensure patient confidentiality.

Qualifications and work requirements: 

• Licensed Physical Therapist with advanced education in Pelvic Health including lab-based assessment in vaginal and rectal assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction
• Advanced certification from one of the following: 
• American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Women’s Health Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist (WCS)
• American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Certification in Advanced Practice OB and or Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB or CAPP-Pelvic)
• Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Continuing Education Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC)
• Maintenance of State Licensure in good standing as required by the State in which Physical Therapist practices their trade. 
• You have 1+ year experience in a patient facing role.
• Ability to carry professional liability insurance covering care provided.
• Have the ability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours/week in a telehealth or in-person setting
• Bonus if you have your own in-person work space, where you are able to see Partum clients in - person (not required)

Partum Health is seeking an RN/IBCLC to provide personalized evidence-based lactation consultations to our prenatal and postnatal clients in the Dallas and the surrounding Suburbs.  The RN/IBCLC will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of maternal health experts that includes physical therapists, mental health therapists, nutritionists, doulas and dedicated care coordinators- all of whom collaborate to make Partum Health’s whole person care care model for growing families a reality.

As a valuable member of our team you’ll be responsible for delivering clinical care- supporting the parent-infant breastfeeding dyad in both the antepartum and postpartum period. The role includes evaluating, diagnosing, counseling, educating and treating patients ib=n Dallas through telehealth and in-home appointments.

This is a contractor role and offers the flexibility to set your own hours and grow with our team.  Partum Health is currently seeking RN/IBCLCs with flexibility to provide home visits within the city of Dallas and surrounding suburbs (e.g. Plano, Frisco, etc.)

Core Responsibilities

• Provide lactation/infant feeding support via telehealth and in-person, in-home care 
• Facilitate breast/chestfeeding support for Partum Health’s clients
• Promote breast/chestfeeding and assist parents in reaching their own breast/chestfeeding goals.  
• Review, update and evaluate suitable educational materials to facilitate understanding. 
• Adjust teaching to meet patient and family needs including language and literacy level. 
• Documents patient education and progress in accordance with practice standards within our HIPAA compliant EHR.
• Communicate via our HIPAA compliant chat with patients as needed.
• Maintain professional growth in the area of educational techniques to promote quality patient education services. 
• Provide materials necessary to promote successful breastfeeding to client  examples include nipple shields and needle-free syringes. 
• Consistently ensure a world-class level of clinical care and patient experience; ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care; which ensure patient confidentiality.

• You are a qualified RN/IBCLC 
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with maintenance of Board Certification per IBCLE requirements 
• Maintenance of State Licensure in good standing, if required by the State in which IBCLC practices their trade
• Registered Nurse (RN) with maintenance of Board Certification and State Licensure in good standing as required by the State in which RN practices their trade
• You have 1+ year in a patient facing role, ideally delivering lactation support to patients
• You can commit to a minimum of 10 hours/month in a telehealth and in-home setting and can coordinate with Partum Health staff and clients to schedule in a timely manner
• You have Ability to carry professional liability insurance covering care provided
