About the Job

Reporting directly to the EVP Strategy, you will support and contribute to the company’s work across capital formation, investor relations, communications, and commercial partnerships. The EVP covers a lot of ground — fundraising, PR, and customer and partner engagement — and you will be embedded in all of it, learning fast and producing real work from day one. This includes but is not limited to:

• Manage the EVP’s calendar, travel, and meeting logistics — and handle personal administrative tasks as needed. This is a high-trust, no-task-too-small role, and keeping the EVP’s day running smoothly is foundational to everything else
• Prepare briefing documents, talking points, and background materials ahead of meetings so the EVP walks into every room fully up to speed
• Draft presentations, one-pagers, and pitch materials in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Figma, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling decks
• Update and collaborate on financial models in Excel and Google Sheets (unit economics, scenario analyses, financing structures) and produce clean data visualizations that simplify complex information

This is a high-agency, high-trust position on a lean team commercializing a once-in-a-generation technology. You’ll start as a hands-on contributor, doing the work yourself across a wide range of tasks -- some glamorous, some not. As the company scales, if you are excelling in your role, you will help hire another associate to whom you hand off the scheduling and personal assistance work, and step into a more senior role with real ownership of strategic relationships and initiatives. We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team to provide dedicated end-user support at Panthalassa. You’ll be responsible for supporting laptops (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile devices (Android, iOS), and other workplace technologies (A/V systems, printers, peripherals, and network patching). You’ll play a critical role in keeping our team productive day-to-day, while also helping us shape the long-term vision for corporate technology.

This is a people-first technical role. What You'll Do

Panthalassa is moving from prototype systems toward repeatable production, larger facilities, more connected enterprise systems, and increasingly mission-critical software, infrastructure, and operational data flows. We’re hiring a Director of Information Security to scale and mature the security foundations that will allow the company to scale quickly without losing control.

This is a hands-on, high-leverage builder role. You will own the technical direction of Panthalassa’s information security program across corporate infrastructure, cloud environments, engineering systems, identity and access management, enterprise applications, and security operations. Your job is not to create bureaucracy. Your job is to build practical guardrails, resilient architectures, and clear operating mechanisms that make the company more secure while helping engineering, manufacturing, and business teams move faster.

You’ll partner closely with IT, software, test, enterprise systems, manufacturing, and leadership to identify the highest-risk gaps, prioritize what matters, and implement controls that are robust, scalable, and usable in the real world. This role is both an individual contributor and a strategic leadership role, where you will shape the broader security organization, vendor strategy, and long-term roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for information security across Panthalassa’s corporate, cloud, and enterprise systems environments
• Design and implement security architecture for identity, endpoint, network, SaaS, and cloud systems, with a focus on secure-by-default standards
• Scale and mature practical security guardrails into engineering and operational workflows, including source control, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, secrets management, logging, and access reviews

This role spans existing operations and new build-outs, covering infrastructure upgrades, new facility diligence, design input, installation, commissioning, and long-term system performance.

This is a design-forward role for someone who understands how power infrastructure actually gets delivered today, how to source it, design it, and scale it under real-world constraints. You will develop strategies to unlock megawatt-scale capacity quickly by combining traditional and non-traditional infrastructure approaches.  

You are comfortable working upstream, shaping electrical architecture, identifying risks early, and translating evolving engineering needs into practical, buildable infrastructure plans that can be executed with quality and speed.

We are developing a core technology that will operate in the worst conditions the world’s oceans have to offer for years at a time without human maintenance or intervention. As Senior Program Manager, People Operations & Systems, you will build and own the operational infrastructure behind our total rewards programs. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for designing, strengthening, and scaling the systems, workflows, and controls that support payroll, benefits, leave administration, compliance operations, reporting, and related employee transactions.

This role is for someone who has built and run these systems before and knows what excellent looks like. You have likely been the operational backbone of a People function before, whether as an HR department of one or as the senior operator behind total rewards, payroll, systems, compliance, and reporting. Responsibilities

Total Rewards Systems Ownership

• Build and own the systems, workflows, controls, and documentation that support total rewards operations
• Design and improve scalable processes across payroll, benefits, leave, reporting, and related employee transactions
• Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements that strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and scale
• Serve as a senior thought partner on how total rewards operations should evolve as the company grows

Payroll Administration

• Own end-to-end payroll administration and ensure timely, accurate processing
• Partner with Finance on payroll review, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end activities
• Maintain payroll records, deductions, earnings, tax setup, and related controls

Benefits and Leave Administration

• Own benefits administration operations, including enrollments, qualifying life events, deductions, audits, and reconciliations
• Administer leave programs, internal tracking, documentation, payroll coordination, and related operational support
• Oversee company-specific paid leave programs and ensure appropriate controls and documentation are in place

Systems, Compliance, and Reporting

• Serve as primary administrator for HRIS, ATS, and related people systems

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in payroll, total rewards operations, HR operations, people systems, or related roles
• Proven experience building, improving, and running systems and processes across payroll, benefits, leave, and related operations
• Deep experience with HRIS, payroll, and people systems administration, including building workflows, maintaining data integrity, and improving operational scale
• Strong experience in Rippling or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform, with a clear preference for candidates who have built and operated workflows in Rippling

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout and adoption of Panthalassa’s Safety Principles, making them visible, tangible, and actionable across labs, shops, docks, and test environments.
• Build a simple, transparent safety management system to track inspections, near misses, and incidents; ensure clear ownership and accountability for timely review  and implementation of resulting corrective actions. 
• Create a structured training framework that prepares teams for safe work in all environments including: fabrication, marine operations, electrical work, lab environments, and pilot manufacturing.
• Integrate safety into design and engineering by leading safety reviews during design phases, construction, equipment installation, and process development.
• Participate in engineering design reviews, design the set of assessment criteria that are appropriate for each phase of engineering development efforts.

• Strong technical understanding of OSHA regulations, hazard communication standards, industrial safety, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical safety, including NFPA 70E requirements, arc flash analysis, LOTO programs, and safe energized work practices.
• Working knowledge of lithium-ion battery safety, including storage, handling, thermal runaway risk mitigation, hazardous waste classification, and environmental compliance obligations.
• Experience supporting environments with energy storage systems, high-power test equipment, or power conversion hardware.
