PagerDuty is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our diverse and customer-focused team!
In this role, you’ll be working on our scheduling platform which is a core piece of our business to help organizations distribute on-call responsibilities across their teams. This is an exciting opportunity as you’ll help us realize the long term vision for the product to build flexible and extensible scheduling capabilities powered by AI-native foundations. You’ll architect and build a suite of highly available services, scalable databases and reliable data streams while pioneering agentic development practices that leverage AI as a first-class engineering partner. You will also have plenty of opportunities to partner with the product and design teams on shaping new products and features for our customers. The ideal candidate will have full stack experience with Java, and React and be responsible for promoting engineering excellence principles with our design, dev, test and release cycles.
Why we need you
The Mobilization Team is looking for a passionate software engineer to help us build the future of Schedules for the Operations Cloud. As an engineer on the team, you’ll be working on our scheduling platform which is a core piece of our business to help organizations distribute on-call responsibilities across their teams. You’ll help us realize the long term vision for the product to build innovative, flexible and extensible scheduling capabilities by architecting and building AI-native foundations (a suite of highly available services, scalable databases and reliable data streams accessed via an agentic framework). You will also have plenty of opportunities to partner with the product and design teams on shaping new products and features for our customers. You’ll also be responsible for promoting engineering excellence principles with our AI-first design, dev, test and release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- From day one, you’ll be designing, coding, testing and shipping backend applications or micro-services, APIs or front-end interfaces that ensure we deliver secure, highly reliable and scalable solutions to our customers.
- Since we own and operate what we build, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers across teams.
- With 20,000+ global customers and growing, you’ll be solving really interesting technical challenges while helping to scale our product to keep up with demand.
- Participating in your team’s on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues as they arise.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, building, and operating large systems with scalability, availability, and performance requirements.
- Development experience working on customer-facing and web-based systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Java/ Python, React, AI coding tools
- You have built or worked on a customer-facing product
Preferred Qualifications
- You have operational experience in a cloud technologies such as AWS
- You have operational experience with databases & tools (e.g. MySQL, Aurora, Kafka, NoSQL, applying software engineering principles to data problems, etc.)
- Experience building user-facing public APIs
- You’ve had experience designing & implementing distributed and highly available systems
The base salary range for this position is 113,000 - 190,300 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to join our team. As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and enhancing the security posture of our technology and products.
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and IT teams to embed security at every stage of the product development lifecycle. Your leadership will ensure that security remains a core component of our products, supporting our mission to earn and maintain customer trust.
This role will provide technical leadership to ensure our application security is effective, efficient, and aligned with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in implementing application security solutions and automation to address security-related issues while effectively communicating and managing security risks across leadership teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define, develop, and execute a forward-looking application security strategy that incorporates AI and is aligned with business goals and emerging threats.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in security, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture where team members are empowered to excel and grow.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and operate secure systems that protect PagerDuty’s cloud environment and ensure the safety of customer data.
- Build a developer-centric security program, embedding security into engineering artifacts, processes, and tooling for seamless integration.
- Drive complex, cross-functional security initiatives to systematically eliminate common risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring security is “engineered-in” at every stage.
- Develop and maintain technical solutions to proactively address security threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Partner with tech leads and executive leadership to review technical designs and implement architectural improvements, balancing security, reliability, and performance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of security incidents, from investigation to resolution, responding effectively to any security breaches or related events.
- Develop and track metrics and KPIs to measure application security effectiveness, continuously improving security posture and aligning with organizational goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience building and scaling security teams in high-growth SaaS environments, fostering a strong security culture and leading through change.
- Strong ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences, driving shared understanding and collaboration.
- Demonstrated success leading in fast-paced, dynamic environments, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.
- Deep understanding of application and product security, including secure SDLC and threat modeling.
- Expertise in cloud-native security across AWS or Azure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience enabling engineers through DevSecOps practices and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong ability to translate technical security risks into business context, enabling informed decisions at all levels.
- Experience in securing AI/ML systems and implementing AI-driven security solutions for threat detection and response.
- Solid knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, including FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53
- Prior Software development experience preferred.
The base salary range for this position is 191,000 - 321,200 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

PagerDuty seeks a strategic and results-driven Director, Territory Executive to lead our Territory Account Executive (TE) Sales team who drive complex, multi-product sales cycles with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. Reporting to the VP, Sales, you will guide a North American team of Account Executives, each managing regional territories, with existing key accounts with >$100k in ARR and high growth accounts, focusing on growth strategies through upsell, cross-sell, and account development. This team is empowered to win complex deals, build and sustain long term relationships with VP+/C-level executives and decision-making stakeholders through weekly/monthly in-person engagement and consultative selling.
You will be responsible for building a winning sales culture through recruitment, enablement, and sales execution. You'll oversee revenue growth through existing account expansion while fostering customer success across. You and your team will successfully drive Operations Cloud conversions and multi-product adoption by applying PagerDuty's Command of Message methodology, understanding customer financial priorities and budget cycles, and crafting cost-justified proposals that demonstrate high-value outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Development:
- Lead a team of Territory Account Executives to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders to meet sales targets and efficiently qualify existing account expansion opportunities.
- Coach the team to orchestrate internal resources and lead value-based sales cycles, articulating PagerDuty's unique value proposition to executive stakeholders and delivering predictable business through forecasting and pipeline management.
- Ensure the team is executing strategic account plans to protect and grow revenue through a deep understanding of the customer’s strategic business priorities, organizational structure and decision authority.
Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the team to develop comprehensive territory strategies aligning with existing account growth objectives within the Enterprise segment.
- Guide the team in building pipeline and demand leveraging i marketing, alliances, and other programs.
- Establish frameworks for the team to manage a territory of key accounts portfolios while maintaining high customer engagement and satisfaction levels.
Operational Excellence:
- Drive adoption of PagerDuty's MEDDPICC opportunity qualification and "Command of the Message" sales methodology through a consistent weekly operating cadence.
- Oversee the team’s pipeline 4 quarters ahead to ensure a healthy pipeline with 4X coverage to plan, and that opportunities are qualified and progressing to closure by the forecasted close date..
- Performance management to attract and retain top sales talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of quota-carrying field experience in enterprise software and SaaS sales, with demonstrated success in existing account management
- 5+ years enterprise sales leadership experience with complex, multi-product solutions with a record of successful performance
- Proven ability to hire, develop, coach and performance manage a sales team including a strong understanding of our customer’s businesses,executive-level engagement (VP+) and complex stakeholder management
- Experience driving team adoption of formal sales methodologies
- Track record of accurately forecasting expansion business
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience leading teams using multiple sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, TAS, SPIN, CoM, Challenger)
- Experience developing sales strategies for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 accounts
The base salary range for this position is 119,000 - 181,500 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute complex, multi-product sales motions and partner with Solution Consultants for technical validation and proof-of-concept activities.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and a disciplined pipeline in Salesforce using the MEDDICC framework.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, and Renewals teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or expansion roles within SaaS or cloud software.
- Proven success managing a quota in complex, long-cycle enterprise sales.
- Demonstrated experience selling to and influencing C-level executives.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise applying MEDDICC and Command of the Message (COM) methodologies.
- Experience managing high-value accounts
- Track record of success with multi-product sales and solution-based selling models.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, Operations Cloud, or DevOps environments.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $154,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission (50/50 split), and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
