Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Contractor) based in Mexico to support our Digital & Technology initiatives. This role will support the portfolio and will work closely with cross-functional teams across Mexico, India, and San Francisco. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, the ability to operate in a global environment, and experience supporting technology-driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, tracking, and reporting for project/program budgets, including budget vs. actuals and variance analysis
- Partner with global stakeholders including technology teams, program managers, vendors, and corporate finance across multiple regions
- Manage vendor financials including contract tracking, invoicing, and billing issue resolution
- Oversee Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and monthly service entries
- Drive internal labor tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Perform detailed reconciliations and provide insights to support decision-making
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to project financials
- Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and key stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting with increasing responsibility
- Strong experience supporting project/program financials, preferably in a technology environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment (U.S., India, LATAM preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across time zones and manage competing priorities
