Private Equity Summer Analyst (2027)

We are seeking a highly driven and organized critical thinker to join our investing team for the summer of 2027. The Private Equity Summer Analyst will have responsibilities that span the entire deal transaction process and are beyond the scope of traditional entry-level private equity positions, including: financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation, investment committee presentations, transaction structuring, Letter of Intent negotiation, accounting, operational and legal due diligence, third party advisor management (lawyers, CPAs, consultants), debt financing, and seller relationship management.
The role is a unique opportunity to gain extensive private equity deal experience and leadership skills in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. The role begins with in-depth training – working directly with Orion’s senior leadership to develop skills as an investor. Private Equity Summer Analysts are expected to interact directly with sellers from day 1 and rapidly develop into leaders in the transaction process.

Job Overview
Astra Service Partners is seeking a Head of Supplier Operations to lead supplier strategy and supplier-related operational initiatives across a portfolio of commercial HVAC businesses.
This role owns the supplier operating model and enterprise initiatives that drive cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational consistency across the network. The focus is on setting standards, driving adoption, and partnering with operating companies to scale programs that benefit from network leverage.
Success in this role requires strong commercial judgment, operational discipline, financial rigor, and systems thinking, with the ability to lead through influence and collaboration across a decentralized organization.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Strategy and Commercial Management
• Own senior-level relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and distributors
• Lead negotiation of network-wide pricing structures, rebate programs, and commercial agreements
• Establish supplier standards and oversee performance reviews and scorecards
• Identify opportunities to leverage scale across the network to reduce cost and improve outcomes
Enterprise Initiatives and Governance
• Define procurement and supplier standards to be adopted across operating companies
• Provide governance for purchasing workflows, item setup standards, inventory, warranty, and rebate processes
• Drive adoption of enterprise initiatives such as preferred supplier programs, spend consolidation, and system enablement
• Monitor compliance and adoption using KPIs and dashboards and partner with OpCo leadership to close gaps
Systems and Enablement
• Partner with Finance and IT to evaluate, implement, and optimize systems supporting supplier operations and spend visibility
• Ensure tools and processes are scalable, practical, and aligned with field operations
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization and automation where it creates value
Leadership and Influence
• Lead through influence across operating company leadership and functional partners
• Act as a strategic partner to operations leaders with a focus on margin improvement and cost discipline
• Build alignment and momentum across the network using a servant leadership mindset

Compensation & Benefits
A competitive compensation package will be offered. Base pay for this position ranges from approximately $70,000 to $90,000 and will also include an annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, financial and other benefits.
