Role Overview
OneSix is seeking an energetic and passionate Data Engineer with solid experience in the financial services sector. In this role, you will work on Client project teams with a focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure data platforms that support complex financial data workflows and analytics. Your work will empower internal teams by delivering reliable, performant data infrastructure tailored to the unique demands of financial services.

This is a nearshore position with a base salary of $60,000–$85,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location. Compensation may vary based on factors including geographic location, level of experience, skills, and performance. This range reflects base pay only and does not include additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, or benefits..

The Senior Lead Engineer at OneSix works collaboratively to design and develop data-driven solutions that empower clients with actionable insights. This role is mission-critical, leading project teams, shaping project scopes, and working directly with clients to refine and implement data strategies. While not a direct people manager, the Senior Lead Engineer serves as a technical team lead, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to team members to ensure successful project delivery. They are responsible for architecting scalable data solutions, optimizing analytics workflows, and leveraging best-in-class data tools to solve our clients' most pressing challenges.
