Located in Sparta, we are halfway between Eau Claire and LaCrosse, 1.5 hours away from Madison and only 2.5 hours from Milwaukee and Minneapolis. Sparta offers quick access to many major interstates and a lower-than-average cost of living.

• A devoted, skilled and fun full-time veterinarian with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that vet visits are calm and enjoyable for their patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Provide routine wellness exams and diagnosis 

• Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and necessary diagnostics 

• Administer and accurately monitor controlled substances 

• Maintain and complete patient records 

• Serve as mentor to technical support staff 

• Build and establish rapport with the client base, demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and communication 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Graduate of an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program 

• Licensure in the state of Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start 

• Strong proficiency in medical knowledge and surgical skills, particularly in soft tissue surgery 

• Exemplary professionalism and communication skills with both team members and clients 

• Strong decision-making and time-management skills 

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
