Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled GIS Professional to support our Members’ migration from our legacy mapping and staking software to our next‑generation platform. Reporting to a Professional Services Team Lead, the Implementation Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to resolve technical issues related to project deployment and software transitions. This role encompasses performing NISC GIS software implementations for member/customers, managing implementation projects end‑to‑end, validating and verifying the accuracy of converted data, providing ongoing application support, and delivering comprehensive training on all aspects of the application. Additionally, the Implementation Project Manager will address customer questions regarding product functionality and usage via telephone, email, or on‑site visits.

It is our purpose to provide World Class GIS solutions that exceed our Member’s expectations. This will be done through the building and maintenance of our Member’s GIS databases using NISC's proprietary Mapping GIS solution as well as other GIS solutions.

Position Overview:
As a Project Manager (Work Management Implementations), you’ll help utilities confidently roll out and adopt NISC’s Work Management solution. You’ll team up with stakeholders to understand business needs, shape smart workflows, and deliver training that helps crews and office teams get more done with less friction. Along the way, you’ll dig into work process analysis, set up dispatching and field service tools, guide system testing, and lead both virtual and onsite training. After go-live, you’ll answer questions and tweak workflows and configuration as needed, before transitioning them to our internal Support team.
