THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Analyst in NextEnergy Group’s Data & AI team you will lead geospatial analytics projects, mentor junior analysts and deliver high-impact insights across climate, nature and social themes. You will partner with the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Team and wider business stakeholders; design and maintain robust spatial datasets; develop and manage web based GIS applications; and apply spatial analysis to support due diligence across UK and international investment portfolios. Through the establishment of standardised geospatial processes, auditable data workflows and high quality visualisations, you will strengthen the organisation’s evidence base for ESG reporting and decision making. By delivering actionable insights to stakeholders you will be supporting the company’s digital transformation and sustainability goals.

This role is central to our strategy to become a data-driven, technology-led and AI-infused enterprise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analytics & Insight Generation: Lead spatial and environmental analysis across ESG topics, integrating survey, CAD, consultant and public datasets to identify constraints, risks and opportunities, and translating complex geospatial data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders.
• Reporting & Visualisation: Design, build and maintain dashboards, web applications and high‑quality cartographic outputs (ArcGIS Online, ESRI), ensuring spatial data is visualised clearly, accurately and in line with best‑practice data storytelling for both operational and strategic reporting.
• Mentorship & Best Practice: Champion geospatial data quality, governance and continuous improvement by managing spatial databases, standardising workflows, documenting processes and mentoring junior analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Data Collection & Management: Working with Data Engineering & Data Governance when relevant, own and actively manage spatial and ESG‑related datasets for analysis, ensuring data quality, integrity and compliance with GDPR and other regulation
• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate & transform analytics & reporting processes to improve efficiency & scalability
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders across the group to understand requirements, deliver solutions and support cross-functional projects
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Consistently document geospatial methodologies, analytical workflows and outputs, producing clear guidance and process documentation to support transparency, reproducibility and effective knowledge sharing across the wider team.
• Data Quality & Governance: Support data governance initiatives by validating geospatial datasets, maintaining metadata, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory and ESG reporting requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, analytics best practices & emerging technologies. Proactively suggest enhancements to processes & tools/

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Technical Excellence: Advanced proficiency in geospatial platforms (ESRI, QGIS,). Experience with SQL & Excel for data manipulation and with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI). Familiarity with Python, FME and cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake)
• Storytelling: Confidence building a story around data insights as well as communicating this with business stakeholders in an understandable and engaging manner
• Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Geography, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or relevant environmental or technical field or alternative relevant educational achievements (e.g. apprenticeships, arts degrees + work experience)
• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role
• Dashboard design (PowerBI & Thoughtspot), remote sensing and image processing skills in context of environmental applications and assessment desirable. 
• Experience in geospatial data management and data engineering.
• Experience with ESRI products, including ArcGIS Pro, AGOL Web Maps, Application, Dashboards, Story Boards.
• Familiarity with CAD based software (e.g. AutoCAD), Web-based GIS technologies, coding (Python, R) as well as other desktop GIS software (e.g. FME, QGIS). 
• Experience in renewables/environmental/social assessments and across development, construction and operation stages.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Delivery Manager (early-career) to bring structure and accountability to how the Technology & Digital Services (TDS) team delivers software, infrastructure, and vendor-led projects. This is a cross-functional role that sits at the heart of TDS delivery, coordinating across internal engineering squads, Product Managers, architects, and third-party vendors to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, to standard, and without disruption to the business.

You will work closely with the India-based Release Manager, supporting day-to-day release priorities and pipeline standards, and helping to coordinate delivery activities across both teams. You are not expected to manage squads directly, that is shared with the Scrum Master and Product Managers, but you will be the person who helps ensure everyone is aligned, dependencies are managed, and nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, can support internal teams and external vendors to stay on track (even without direct authority), and can translate technical delivery status into clear communication for project stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery Coordination & Project Management

• Plan, coordinate, and track delivery across concurrent Digital Transformation workstreams and BAU changes, maintaining a clear and consolidated view of progress, risks, and dependencies at all times.
• Work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and Product Managers to ensure delivery is on track, proactively surfacing blockers and facilitating their resolution without taking over squad-level ownership.
• Help define and communicate what teams need to deliver in order for work to be considered ready to enter the CI/CD pipeline, working in alignment with the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards maintained by Product Management.
• Support Product Managers in managing coordination overhead across workstreams, acting as a force multiplier for delivery capacity within TDS.
• Collaborate with the data capability and Platform Owner to ensure data-related delivery workstreams are appropriately integrated into the broader delivery schedule.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, and status reports, ensuring stakeholders always have a clear and honest picture of delivery health.

Vendor & Third-Party Delivery Management

• Ensure that third-party vendors adhere to TDS release processes, quality gates, and delivery standards, monitoring compliance and escalating issues within the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate vendor delivery activities within the broader delivery schedule, managing dependencies between internal and external workstreams to avoid conflict or disruption.
• Monitor vendor delivery performance and raise concerns early to the relevant Product Manager and the Engineering Lead, providing clear evidence and suggested actions.
• Apply structured project and delivery management approaches (e.g. stage gate processes) where vendors operate outside of an agile framework, ensuring appropriate governance and delivery controls are in place.

Release Oversight & Pipeline Standards

• Provide day-to-day support to the India-based Release Manager on release priorities, pipeline standards, and process compliance, working closely with key delivery and technical leads across both roles.
• Support release readiness and go/no-go activities by gathering inputs and ensuring criteria are tracked, in partnership with Head of Design & Engineering and relevant Technical Leads, ensuring that all delivery and quality criteria are met before any release proceeds to production.
• Support the ongoing improvement of the CI/CD pipeline and release ways of working, identifying gaps and proposing practical process updates as the capability matures.
• Ensure that release processes and standards are understood and consistently followed by all internal teams and vendors.

Incident Management

• Coordinate incident resolution when release-related or production issues arise, acting as the central point of contact across engineering teams, vendors, and architects to drive swift diagnosis and remediation.
• Ensure all incidents are properly documented and reviewed as part of a continuous improvement process, feeding lessons learned back into delivery and release standards.

Architecture & Technical Governance

• Build sufficient understanding of the organisation's architecture, including products, software, data, cloud, and security, to coordinate delivery effectively across technical disciplines.
• Work closely with the architect community (system, data, cloud, enterprise, and security architects) to help ensure that delivery decisions respect architectural standards and constraints.
• Escalate technical risks or architectural concerns identified during delivery to the appropriate architect or the Engineering Lead.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Provide regular, consolidated delivery and release status updates to the Head of Design & Engineering and wider TDS leadership.
• Support and facilitate cross-team delivery forums and release planning sessions, ensuring the right people are in the room and that decisions are made efficiently.
• Contribute to CAB meetings, providing accurate and timely information on upcoming releases to support informed change advisory decisions.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong delivery management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-team environments involving internal squads and external vendors.
• Comfortable engaging with architects and engineers on software, infrastructure, and cloud topics, with the ability to understand delivery impacts and ask the right questions without needing to be a practitioner.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a delivery management or technical project management role within a software or technology delivery environment.
• Proven track record of coordinating delivery across internal engineering teams and third-party vendors simultaneously.
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment, with a strong understanding of how delivery management integrates with squad-based ways of working, including sprint-based release cycles, continuous delivery practices, and supporting release planning across one or more agile teams.
• Working understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data platform concepts, sufficient to coordinate effectively across technical disciplines.
• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent), particularly in the context of stage gate processes and managing vendors operating outside of an agile framework.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for project tracking and delivery coordination.
• Familiarity with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and how delivery and release management feeds into change governance.
• Experience managing or providing direction to geographically distributed teams is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g. energy, finance, utilities, or similar) is desirable.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Platform Owner to take full ownership of the Group’s core technical platforms (including Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, CRM, CLM and related data systems and technical platforms) ensuring they are secure, reliable, well‑governed, performant and cost‑optimised.

This role is central to the Technology & Digital Services (TDS) organisation. You will be responsible for the operational integrity, configuration standards, access models, cost management, and performance of these platforms. You will define and maintain platform guardrails, manage SLAs, and oversee the technical roadmap to ensure long‑term scalability, resilience and compliance.

This role works closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, AI and Technology Operations teams to ensure that all teams can efficiently and effectively use these platforms. This role isn’t just about building pipelines; you will need to ensure that our platforms become the foundation for TDS and business teams to deliver NextEnergy’s core objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Ownership & Strategy

• Own the Group’s core technical platforms — including Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, CRM, CLM and related data systems and technical platforms — ensuring they are secure, reliable, well‑governed, performant and cost‑
• Set, maintain and enforce platform configuration standards, operational guardrails and best practices.
• Manage RBAC models, environment strategies, access control, and data security across all platforms.
• Oversee performance optimisation, monitoring, alerting and logging across Snowflake, ThoughtSpot and integrated systems.
• Analyse and optimise platform costs, including compute utilisation, storage growth, licensing models and organisational chargeback/allocation approaches.
• Lead adoption of infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) and automated deployment patterns to improve reliability and repeatability.
• Support TDS teams to drive the technical roadmap, focusing on scalability, stability, security, and platform lifecycle management (source, implement, run, upgrade, patch, deprecate).

Enabling TDS Teams

• Serve as the primary technical contact for platform‑related questions, blockers and guidance.
• Ensure Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, CRM/CLM and related systems support performant engineering and analytical workloads.
• Provide clear documentation, standards and enablement materials that reduce friction for engineering and BI teams.
• Work with Data Architects to ensure platform architecture aligns to best practices and long‑term strategy.
• Work with Product and Change Management to support teams in adopting new platform features and capabilities, owning the elements of proper configuration and platform change governance.

Business Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Asset Management, and Commercial Management to understand technical platform needs and translate them into platform priorities.
• Communicate platform capabilities and roadmap progress clearly to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment on value and outcomes.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase ROI from the platforms and broader digital ecosystem.
• Track and report on the value delivered through platform initiatives, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.

Service Quality, Reliability & Operations

• Define, monitor and manage SLA/SLOs for platform uptime, latency, availability, cost and quality.
• Own platform-level incident management, root-cause analysis, stability improvements and problem management.
• Manage platform lifecycle activities including updates, feature enablement, capacity planning and incident prevention.
• Ensure strong business continuity and disaster recovery strategies across all platforms.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Ensure the platform adheres to data governance, security, and compliance requirements, including audit trails and appropriate access controls.
• Partner with compliance, legal, and risk teams to proactively identify and mitigate platform-related risks.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory developments affecting data and technology in the energy sector, and ensure timely implementation of necessary platform changes.

Vendor & Third-Party Management

• Support senior leaders in managing key vendor relationships (Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, CRM/CLM providers).
• Track new platform releases, features and tools; assess fit, technical impact and operational implications.
• Coordinate vendor escalations relating to platform incidents, performance or configuration.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

• 2 to 3 years of direct experience working as a Platform Owner.
• Proven experience managing or administering a cloud data or technical platform at scale (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with BI platforms such as ThoughtSpot and operational/enterprise platforms such as CRM and Contract Lifecycle Management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, compliance and governance controls.
• Experience with cost optimisation, technical monitoring and performance engineering.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code is advantageous.

THE ROLE

The Global Head of O&M Engineering will lead and continuously evolve Wise Energy’s global Operations & Maintenance (O&M) engineering capability across all regions, asset classes and client portfolios. This senior, strategically critical role sets global engineering standards, shapes O&M strategy, and ensures consistent, high-quality delivery through third party partners to maximise long term asset value. This role ensures that all O&M expenditure translates into superior asset performance, reliability, and long-term value creation. As the strategic owner of O&M relationships, the position will establish trusted partnerships, define clear expectations, and rigorously manage provider performance to deliver excellence

Acting as WiseEnergy’s senior technical authority for operational assets, you will oversee asset performance, availability, compliance and risk mitigation through strong governance and data-led oversight. You will also ensure that operational insights inform future asset design, construction and investment strategies.

As a key member of the Wise Senior Leadership Team, you will build trusted relationships across WiseEnergy and the wider NextEnergy Group, develop engineering capabilities and contribute to high-quality service delivery for clients and fund managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Global O&M Strategy & Standards

O&M Partner & Procurement Leadership

• Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking, structured reviews and lessons learned.

• Identify underperformance early and drive effective, value-focused recovery plans.
• Provide senior challenge to ensure decisions protect long-term asset value.

Technical Support & Portfolio Risk Management

Investment & Commercial Business Cases

THE ROLE

Due to the growth of the Company, we're seeking a detail-oriented, independently minded, Senior Compliance & Legal Manager to help move our Compliance & Group Legal function up to the next level to work to improve efficiencies to meet the requirements of the Group supporting compliance and legal stakeholders to manage a broad spectrum of Regulatory, Compliance and Risk issues arising from NextEnergy’s investments and operational activities globally including group companies and all jurisdictions.

The role encompasses detailed management, oversight and advisory of the Firm’s compliance and group legal requirements. The role also encompasses a global outlook with regulatory requirements being understood and met in other jurisdictions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Chief Compliance & Legal Officer this will be an integral role in the Compliance team specifically and will include amongst other areas and other initiatives and projects as assigned:

• Deputize for CCLO where necessary with management responsibilities over time to provide support on all compliance and legal projects including data protection, cyber security and oversight of regulatory obligations in all areas of business.
• Enforcement of Second Line of Defence including oversight of ESG Reporting particularly the CSRD and CSDDD and equivalent UK Reporting obligations
  Responsibility for Risk Management Framework with responsibility for enhancing the record-keeping and reporting activities of internal committees ensuring record keeping, accurate minutes, action items followed up and collaboration with the business
• Provide advice and guidance on financial crime, particularly Anti-Money Laundering and terrorist financing, to the business and other control functions. support the Investment Teams on Investment KYC/AML, provide support with any audit requests
• Compliance Testing and monitoring control framework and delivery of monitoring objectives within the Compliance team and business including testing of the US Compliance Programme by performing a number of tests as assigned by the CCLO, ensuring all findings/recommendations are documented and addressed
• Supporting the provision of enhanced Management Information including compliance monitoring results, corporate governance matters preparation of Board Materials, and horizon scanning.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead the people side of digital transformation at NextEnergy Group. This is a newly created function and role, the first of its kind in the organisation, and represents a genuine opportunity to define how change is managed, communicated, and embedded across the business. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that digital initiatives delivered by the Technology & Digital Services (TDS) team land successfully with end users, driving adoption, minimising disruption, and maximising the return on our technology investments. Working closely with a network of business-side change agents, including our Communications & Branding team, you will align internal communications, readiness activities, and training to support the rollout of our growing portfolio of digital products and platforms. 

This role requires someone who can build from the ground up establishing the change management standards, tools, and frameworks that will underpin TDS delivery for years to come – while simultaneously managing an in-flight portfolio of initiatives from day one.  

You will need to be as comfortable chairing our Change Advisory Board (CAB) and influencing senior stakeholders as you are coaching a change agent or product manager through the change process for the first time. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Change Strategy & Framework 

• Define, implement, and continuously improve a structured change management methodology aligned to an industry-recognised framework (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent), building a repeatable, scalable approach that can grow with the team. 

• Develop and maintain the organisation's change management standards, templates, and playbooks for digital initiative rollouts. 

• Assess the change impact and organisational readiness for each initiative, tailoring the approach to the scale, risk, and complexity of each rollout. 

• Ensure change management activities are fully embedded within the agile delivery framework, integrated from project inception through to post-launch adoption rather than treated as a downstream activity. 

• Ensure that all change initiatives are clearly positioned within the broader Group strategy, reinforcing organisational priorities and helping employees understand the strategic rationale behind digital transformation efforts. 

• Build the change management capability of the TDS team and wider business, creating shared language and consistent practices. 

• Define how change management success is measured, ensuring all metrics and outcomes are aligned to the organisation's existing benefits realisation framework, and incorporating employee engagement, sentiment, and change readiness indicators in collaboration with Communications and People teams. 

Change Advisory Board (CAB) 

• Co-Chair the CAB, joowning the agenda, process, and rigour of change request reviews across the TDS portfolio. 

• Ensure that change requests are assessed consistently, with appropriate stakeholder representation and clear decision-making on approval, deferral, or rejection. 

• Coach both change agents and product managers on the CAB process, building understanding and confidence in how to prepare, present, and respond to change requests effectively. 

• Continuously improve the CAB process to keep pace with the volume and complexity of digital change across the organisation. 

Digital Initiative Delivery 

• Partner with Product Managers and the PMO to embed change management activities into the agile delivery lifecycle from inception through to post-launch adoption. 

• Develop and execute change plans for concurrent digital rollouts, managing competing priorities and timelines across the TDS portfolio. 

• Track adoption and benefits realisation against agreed metrics, providing clear and regular reporting to senior stakeholders in line with the organisation's benefits realisation framework. 

• Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve the change approach. 

Change Agent Network 

• Identify, engage, and develop a network of change agents across the business to act as champions for digital initiatives within their teams. 

• Coach change agents on change management principles and practice, equipping them with the tools, messaging, and confidence they need to drive adoption locally. 

• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with change agents, acting as their primary point of contact and escalation route throughout each rollout. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Communications 

• Map and manage stakeholder groups across each initiative, developing targeted engagement strategies based on impact and influence. 

• Work in partnership with the Communications & Branding team to develop and coordinate internal communications, ensuring messaging is aligned to the Group’s strategic narrative, fully on-brand, clear, timely, and tailored to the audience, in line with established communications governance and approval processes. 

• All internal communications will be developed in partnership with the Communications & Branding team, who retain ownership of tone of voice, messaging standards, brand alignment, and channel governance. 

• Facilitate workshops, roadshows, and briefing sessions to build awareness and desire for change across affected teams. 

• Provide coaching and support to senior leaders to help them fulfil their role as visible and effective change sponsors, establishing clear expectations and accountability for active leadership throughout each initiative lifecycle. 

Training & Enablement 

• Identify training needs arising from digital rollouts and coordinate the development and delivery of appropriate learning interventions. 

• Ensure end users are fully equipped to adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working before go-live. 

• Develop self-service enablement resources to support ongoing adoption beyond the initial rollout period. 

Risk & Resistance Management 

• Proactively identify resistance to change and develop targeted mitigation strategies to address it. 

• Escalate material change risks to the Head of Product & PMO and relevant project sponsors, with recommended actions. 

• Monitor adoption and usage data post-launch, identifying areas where additional support or intervention is needed. 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Deep expertise in at least one industry-recognised change management methodology (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or similar), with the ability to adapt and evolve the approach to suit the organisation. 

• Proven ability to build change management frameworks and practices from scratch in an organisation with limited existing capability. 

• Strong understanding of how technology and digital change affects people, processes, and culture  and what it takes to make adoption stick. 

• Experience chairing or leading a Change Advisory Board process in a technology or digital environment is highly desirable. 

• Fluency in agile delivery practices and the ability to integrate change management activities seamlessly into agile ways of working. 

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organisation without direct authority.

Starlight is NextEnergy Group’s development company that is active in the development phase of solar projects.  It has developed over 100 utility-scale projects internationally and continues to progress a large pipeline of c.10GW of both green and brownfield project developments across global geographies.

NextSTEP is the venture capital fund of NextEnergy Group, dedicated to investing in innovative startups in the field of environmental sustainability. The fund primarily focuses on investments in Italy and the United Kingdom but also extends its reach to the rest of Europe and the United States, targeting startups in the pre-seed and seed stages. NextSTEP pays particular attention to emerging entities from incubators, startup accelerators, universities, and research centers, supporting projects that address global challenges in crucial areas such as Climate Change, Energy Transition, CO2 Capture and Sequestration, Circular Economy, Sustainable Cities, Sustainable Mobility, Sustainable Fashion, Waste Management, Water and much more.

NextEnergy Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2016 by the NextEnergy Group that operates internationally and whose mission is to proactively participate in the global effort to reduce carbon emissions by providing clean energy sources in regions where they are not yet available and thereby contributing to poverty reduction. As the main sponsor of this foundation, the NextEnergy Group donates at least 5% of its consolidated net profits each year. The NextEnergy Foundation has no overhead costs and therefore 100% of the funds raised go to donations for the various projects. Since 2016, in 8 years of operation the foundation has donated more than £1.2 million, supporting over 30 projects in 27 different countries around the world.
