About the Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Business Systems that will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and operational health of our company’s core enterprise systems, including ERP, integrations, and operational technology platforms. Reporting into the tech department, this role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and our third-party technical development team to ensure systems enable scalable, accurate, and efficient business operations. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership, disciplined project management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead delivery of high impact 2026 systems initiatives, owning full cycle management from discovery and requirements gathering through UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and final deployment 
• Monitor and maintain system health across NetSuite, Celigo, Shopify, 3PL integrations, and Logicbroker, ensuring accurate data flow and seamless order processing
• Run weekly technical sprints with third party developers, prioritizing backlogs and removing blockers to ensure on-time roadmap execution
• Partner cross functionally with Supply Chain, Finance and Sales Teams to translate business pain points into clear technical specifications, while managing stakeholder expectations against roadmap priorities
• Serve as point of escalation for system errors, coordinating with internal teams and software vendors to resolve issues
• Oversee vendor performance and IT systems budget, including recurring audit of software licenses and maintenance of system configurations 

Who You Are

• 5+ years of technical experience in business systems, ERP management, or enterprise systems project leadership
• Proficient experience in NetSuite, Celigo (or similar IPaaS), and Logicbroker (or similar EDI) 
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements 
• Strong understanding of Finance (COGS, GL impacts) and Supply Chain (3PL workflows, inventory management) logic
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail
• Prior experience managing third-party vendors and outsourced development teams

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $160,000 to $165,000 base salary + plus equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. As an AI Backend Team Leader at Nanit, you will own our AI infrastructure and backend engineering efforts, leading a team at the intersection of systems design and machine learning to build the engineering systems that turn Deep Learning and Computer Vision research into reliable, scalable production features.

What You’ll Be Doing:

•  Lead AI Backend Engineering: Own the roadmap and execution for a team of backend and AIinfrastructure/MLOps engineers, setting technical direction, removing blockers, and holding the bar on delivery quality.
• Build Production AI Systems: Design and implement production-grade, end-to-end AI solutions, including agentic workflows, that integrate Deep Learning models and Computer Vision algorithms into real Nanit features. Own the offline experimentation and validation layer, including POC environments that let the Algo team move from research to production confidently.
• Architect Data Platforms: Drive the design and implementation of scalable data platforms and pipelines that power Nanit's AI capabilities reliably and with an eye on cost and scale.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Algorithms and Data teams to tackle complex, real-world problems, translating research into shippable, maintainable systems.
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Champion Software Engineering and System Design best practices across the group, introducing the right methodologies, tooling, and culture of craft.

Who You Are:

•  Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on Software Engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Production Systems and DevOps: Proven experience building high-scale, production-grade systems on a cloud platform (AWS preferred), with solid command of DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and observability.
  •  Programming: Strong command of at least one programming language, with Python or Rust being a strong advantage.
  •  AI/ML Systems: Solid understanding of the ML model lifecycle, including training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, with enough hands-on exposure to make good infrastructure decisions around it. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Computer Vision concepts is an advantage.
  •  AI-Augmented Development: Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools into engineering workflows, with a genuine interest in expanding their use across the team.
• Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with data pipelines and big data infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct research and implementation of AI-based solutions in the fields of Computer Vision, Audio/Speech, Generative AI, and AgenticAI.
• Working on diverse tasks: Computer Vision (pose estimation, segmentation, detection, etc..), Agentic AI, GenAI, multi-modality (video + sound), sound analysis, monitoring, etc..
• End-to-end development, from the research phase to a production-grade model and system: data collection and analysis, literature review, research & POC, error analysis, improve performance and reduce computation cost, support deployment to production.
• Close work with the AI-Backend and Data Annotation teams.

Who You Are:

• At least 5 years of experience in deep learning development for AI based algorithms 
• Experience in developing production-grade algorithms 
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Experience and theoretic understanding of AI models
• M.Sc. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mathematics
• Experience with Agentic AI systems - an advantage 
• Basic knowledge of classic computer vision algorithms - an advantage

We’re looking for a QA Team Lead who is passionate about driving quality that delivers real value - not just defect detection. You’ll lead a distributed team of QA engineers embedded in cross-functional squads. You’ll shape how quality is defined, measured, and accelerated - leveraging data, automation, and AI-driven insights to make every release more reliable.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a QA team of 3-4 engineers distributed across product squads, ensuring alignment on testing standards, ownership, and best practices, including up to 50% hands-on
• Drive measurable quality KPIs such as defect-leakage rate, test coverage, release confidence index, and test execution efficiency
• Work closely with Release Management to ensure every release cycle is stable, predictable, and data-driven
• Partner with the Automation Team Lead to expand automation coverage, with your team members contributing to the automation of sanity tests, reviewing automation results, and maintaining automated sanity suites
• Integrate AI into QA flows - from intelligent test selection and failure analysis to clustering user-reported issues and predicting high-risk areas
• Leverage all sources of truth for quality - including Customer Success insights, app store reviews, and support data - to proactively identify product issues and emerging trends
• Partner closely with the Customer Success team to create a feedback loop between real-world user experiences and product testing priorities
• Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Web, and firmware teams to ensure end-to-end testing strategies that reflect the customer experience
• Continuously analyze quality trends and transform data into actionable insights for faster feedback loops and smarter prioritization
• Champion efficiency, simplicity, and proactive communication across all QA processes

Who You Are:

• Strong quality mindset
• 5+ years of experience as a quality engineer, with at least 3 years leading and mentoring QA engineers - A Must
• Proven track record working with Mobile (iOS/Android), BE, and IoT/FW products
• Strong understanding and proven experience of manual and automated testing methodologies, Planning, execution, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
• Curiosity and openness to adopting new tools, especially around AI-assisted testing and analytics
• Experience collaborating with automation engineers or contributing to automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, pyTest)
• Experience in implementing methodologies and tracking with data and metrics - defining, tracking, and improving quality KPIs
• A mindset that connects quality to business value: you care about impact, not just execution
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed, fast-moving environment
• Experience with compliance and quality audit is an advantage
