Position Overview:
The Wizards Dancers are the official dance team of the NBA Washington Wizards. This co-ed entertainment team performs at all Wizards’ home games and serves as ambassadors for the organization representing the team in the DMV community and abroad.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly rehearsals (2-3) and any assigned games and appearances.
- Must be available for 35 of 41 home games during the regular season and all playoff games during the postseason if applicable.
- Learn and perform high-energy choreographed dance routines, sidelines, fillers, acrobatic tricks, technical skills, and freestyle performances.
- Move throughout the arena to actively engage and connect with fans.
- Understand and thrive in a team dynamic and communicate effectively with management and teammates.
- Serve as an ambassador of the Washington Wizards organization, and conduct themselves in a manner which upholds the character, tradition, integrity, and spirit of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old as of registration date.
- Dancers must be committed for the entire 2026-27 basketball season and up to the 2027 audition date.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Virtual Audition Timeline: Registration: May 11-26, Video Submissions: May 29 - June 4, Semi-Finalist Notification: June 5.
- In Person Audition Phase: Semi-Finals: June 13, Training Camp: June 15-17, Final Audition: June 18.
- Video Submission Guidelines:
- Submit a 30-second, horizontal video showcasing their signature style. It should showcase abilities that you currently have and represent YOU.
- Attire should complement you and your selected dance style.
- A solo video is highly recommended, but we will also accept a dance reel or a small group video that focuses on you.
- A brief intro (name & hometown) is recommended but not required. This may be in addition to the 30 seconds of your performance.
- Record horizontally and ensure you remain in frame throughout your performance.
- A professional video is not required. Most phone cameras produce a quality recording. For the best results, choose 1080p HD at 60 fps or 4K at 60 fps within your camera settings.
- You may select your own music, but it must be clean (no profanity). We also suggest using an app to add/overlay music for the best sound quality.
Pay Rate: $22.00 USD/hr.

Position Overview: The 202 Crew is a high-energy, interactive promotional team responsible for working with Wizards Game Presentation to deliver an engaging, fan-friendly, and entertaining experience at Wizards home games.

- Set up and break down all contest/promotions/games, and backstage prop area.

- Work with in-game hosts/players/high profile personalities for special guest promotions and recognitions.
- Provide a high quality customer service interaction with all guests to enhance the entertainment experience.

Position Overview: The Special Police Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at Capital One Arena (COA) and MedStar Health Performance Center (MHPC) for patrons and employees by patrolling assigned areas and monitoring activities.

- Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas, respond to alarms, and investigate disturbances.
- Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities including equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Conduct patrols to preserve order and protect property.
- Lock and unlock entrance and all exterior doors, ensuring that all locks and chains are secured, and panic bars are locked down as needed.
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
- Interact professionally with staff and guests at all times.
- Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees; while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism.

Position Overview: The Audio Assistant is responsible for the setup and operation of sound equipment during live events. This position will assist with the setup of all field audio for assigned games and/or events located at Capital One Arena.

In addition to Capital One Arena – a venue which hosts 3M+ visitors across over 250 events annually, MSE also manages MedStar Capitals Iceplex (training facility for the Capitals), MedStar Health Performance Center (training facility for the Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go) and EagleBank Arena (a 12,000+ live event venue on George Mason University’s campus).
In July 2020, MSE partnered with William Hill (subsequently acquired by Caesars Entertainment) to open the first ever in-arena sportsbook in North America, now called Caesars Sportsbook.
MSE opened “District E powered by Ticketmaster” in the spring of 2023, a flagship esports and entertainment venue. This 14,000-square-foot live-event theater offers a 365-day-a-year series of immersive experiences in esports, music, culinary excellence, event programming, and community events.

Position Overview: The part-time Special Police Officer is responsible for ensuring Capital One Arena patrons and employees are safe at all times, while preventing theft and damage of the venue/property.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of employees and patrons at all MSE venues at all times; including preventing theft, protection of personal property, preventing assaults, gate crashing, or other disorders at meetings, events, or performances.
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Protect participants at an event from overzealous spectators and permit only accurately ticketed/approved guests into Capital One Arena and Medstar Health Performance Center.
- Detain individuals, at the discretion of a Special Police Officer, based on probable cause for an offense committed in their presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Lock and unlock entrance doors and all exterior doors, ensuring that all locks and chains are secured and panic bars locked down when event dictates.
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
- Interact in a professional manner with every department and individual.
- Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism.
- Maintain availability on a 24/7, 365-day basis; all security officers are considered essential personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Security, law enforcement, military, or life safety experience.
- Ability to acquire and maintain an active DC Special Police Officer License issued by Security Office Management Branch within 14 days of hire.
- Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certifications are preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week as needed.
- Flexibility for On Call assignments as needed.
Pay Range: $21.33 USD/hour.
