About the Role

As a Senior Mobile Product Designer, you will play a key role in designing and building out our Android application from the ground up. This role will be heavily focused on creating intuitive, high-quality native mobile experiences across onboarding, financial workflows, AI-powered interactions, and core user journeys as we expand the Monstro platform onto Android.

You’ll own the end-to-end mobile design process—from early concepts and user flows through high-fidelity production designs—working closely with product and engineering to bring scalable, production-ready experiences to life. While the immediate focus will be Android, you’ll also contribute to broader mobile and product initiatives across the platform as the company grows.

About the Role

As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead critical product initiatives from early definition through scaled adoption. About the Role

Monstro is hiring a hands-on SVP Head of Finance & Accounting to own the entire finance function: accounting, close, back-office operations, client billing, vendor cost management, reporting, and compliance.

As the founding finance hire, you'll build the finance function from the ground up - creating the infrastructure required to support Monstro's growth deliberately and ahead of the demand.

The scope is broad by design. This person keeps the books, runs close, and manages back-office operations - while simultaneously architecting the control systems that govern client revenue recognition, vendor and API cost attribution, and spend compliance in a regulated fintech environment. At Monstro, finance is operational infrastructure, not administrative support.

Why This Role Matters

This role exists to set a solid foundation for every financial and accounting transaction at Monstro. The primary objective is exhaustive, highly accurate, and scalable systems to manage spend - across every function, vendor, and client relationship.

Client billing is a major focus - revenue is usage-based, contracts are complex, and institutional clients require precision. Vendor cost management is equally critical, particularly API and data usage, which are variable, high-volume, and directly tied to product delivery. Monstro's internal controls must reflect the same standards as the banks and financial institutions we partner with - the reporting and compliance of that spend must be airtight.

Success is measured by the quality and integrity of the financial infrastructure this person builds - and how well it holds as Monstro scales.

What You’ll Do

Monstro, Multi-Entity & International Finance

• Manage all things finance across Monstro's multi-entity structure, both in the US and globally as we scale 
• Ensure revenue, contracts, and costs are correctly attributed across entities in line with multi-layered corporate structuring across IP, jurisdictions, tax, and corporate planning
• Own tax compliance and filing obligations across all active jurisdictions, including applicable benefits and credits

Client Billing & Revenue Recognition

• Own end-to-end client billing - usage data ingestion, invoice generation, collections, and revenue recognition
• Build billing infrastructure for B2B2C complexity: tiered pricing, usage-based models, per-user cost attribution, and institutional invoicing
• Partner with product and engineering to ensure usage data is accurate, reconciled, and traceable to the client and end-user level

Vendor Cost Management - API & Data

• Build a vendor cost management framework that tracks and attributes all API consumption, data licensing, and third-party infrastructure costs by product line, client, and environment
• Work with engineering to instrument cost attribution at the infrastructure level - spend should be traceable and verifiable, not estimated
• Surface cost trends, anomalies, and unit economics to support pricing, product, and executive decisions

Spend Reporting & Compliance

• Build the reporting layer that makes spend visible, attributable, and defensible - by client, product line, and cost category
• Build and enforce a spend compliance framework: policy documentation, approval chains, exception handling, and periodic review
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for financial controls, working with legal and external auditors as needed

Accounting & Back-Office Operations

• Own all day-to-day accounting: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and month-end close
• Select and configure the accounting stack - ERP, expense management, and supporting tooling - built to scale
• Maintain audit-ready books and documentation from day one

Financial Reporting & Planning

• Build and maintain the core reporting package: P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and cost-by-function on a monthly close cadence
• Develop operational reporting connecting financials to business performance - gross margin by product line, cost per unit of compute, billing efficiency
• Partner with leadership on budget-to-actual tracking, variance analysis, and financial modeling

• Clear, auditable picture of every dollar spent - by vendor, product, client, cost & category
• Client billing is accurate and fully traceable, with no disputes attributable to internal process failures

• Monthly close completes on schedule with reporting leadership can act on immediately

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role such as Controller, VP Finance, or Head of Finance at a high-growth fintech or SaaS company
• CPA and Big 4 background are not required, but are strongly preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or MAcc a plus
• Experience building financial infrastructure at a high-growth SaaS or fintech from scratch
• Hands-on experience with B2B2C or usage-based billing where cost attribution at the end-user level is a real operational challenge
• Familiarity with API economics, cloud infrastructure costs, and data licensing
• Understanding of multi-entity corporate structuring across IP, jurisdictions, tax, and corporate planning
• Strong command of GAAP, ASC 606, and documentation requirements in a regulated environment
• Experience implementing accounting and spend management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Airbase, Ramp)

The Chief Product Officer role at Monstro is a rare opportunity to own a transformational, category-creating product - strategy, roadmap, design, execution, and the team that delivers it - across two products that define a new standard for how AI operates inside financial institutions.

No company has built what Monstro is building. The MVP will have launched to clients by the time this person joins, with an initial product team and systems in place. About the Role

Monstro is hiring a sharp, seasoned General Counsel (Senior Vice President level) to serve as our founding legal architect. This role will report to the CEO and is highly cross-functional in nature. As the sole legal hire, our GC will own the full spectrum of all things legal as it pertains to Monstro: for example corporate matters, contracts (such as vendor contracts, client contracts etc),  data governance, IP strategy, and regulatory compliance. 

Vendor contracts - API access, data licensing, third-party AI infrastructure - are an immediate and ongoing priority and must be built to scale from day one. As Monstro enters new markets, this role owns the compliance infrastructure for each expansion, managing local counsel and building regulatory frameworks ahead of operational entry. The right person also embeds with product and engineering on regulatory questions and leads complex institutional client negotiations.

Monstro handles PII and highly sensitive financial data - some of the most regulated in any industry with high stakes for compliance. The SVP General Counsel is the person who keeps the company protected across every deal, market entry, data relationship, and corporate decision. As Monstro scales globally and takes on larger contracts, a well-built legal function becomes a direct competitive advantage.

Success is measured by how confidently Monstro can grow - and how rarely legal becomes the reason it can’t.

What You’ll Do

Own the Legal Function

• Be our legal authority on every legal matter across all functions - including but not limited to internal legal ops, contracts, data privacy, equity, governance, IP strategy, fundraising 
• Build & own the legal function from scratch - processes, templates, playbooks, and risk frameworks that scale - and be the trusted advisor to execs on legal risk & strategy
• Manage primary outside counsel strategically, knowing what to handle in-house, when to escalate, and when to go direct to local counsel
• Leverage & implement AI tools within legal as appropriate

Vendor Contracts & Data Agreements

• Own all vendor contract negotiation and management such as those covering data licensing, API access, and third-party AI infrastructure
• Build contract frameworks and playbooks to strategically manage vendor relationships
• Partner with engineering to ensure contractual terms align with how data is ingested, processed, and attributed

Client Contracts & Commercial Legal

• Lead negotiation and drafting of complex institutional client agreements - MSAs, data processing agreements, and deployment contracts with banks and financial institutions
• Partner with the commercial team to structure deals, resolve blockers, and close quickly
• Advise on liability, indemnification, IP ownership, and data rights

Regulatory Compliance

• Own Monstro’s compliance & regulation posture across all areas: financial services, data privacy, AI governance, and consumer protection in every jurisdiction
• Monitor the regulatory landscape for AI in financial services and action as needed
• Liaise with regulators and ensure Monstro remains audit-ready

International Expansion & Local Counsel

• Build frameworks & strategies to remain legal/compliant as we scale to new jurisdictions
• Manage the process of hiring, partnering with or managing outside counsel in new areas
• Advise on cross-border data transfers, local licensing, and jurisdiction-specific contract requirements

IP Strategy

• Define and own Monstro's IP strategy - focused on structuring and documenting proprietary technology, not defaulting to patent filings
• Advise on trade secret protection, confidentiality frameworks, and what makes Monstro's technology distinct and protectable
• Manage existing trademark filings and partner with engineering and product to embed IP thinking into how the company builds

• New markets are entered with compliance and legal proactively cleared 
• Legal is treated as a commercial enabler and brought in early to close deals
• Outside counsel and local legal partners are leveraged strategically - engaged at the right moments, briefed efficiently, and managed to outcome rather than billable hours
• The legal function scales strategically and efficiently with company growth 

What We’re Looking For

• 10-12+ years of legal experience, with meaningful in-house experience at a fintech, AI company, or financial institution - or a combination of top-tier law firm and in-house
• JD required; New York bar admission strongly preferred
• Deep familiarity with the legal and regulatory landscape for AI and data-driven products in financial services
• Proven negotiator on complex commercial contracts with banks or similar regulated counterparties
• Hands-on experience with data licensing, API agreements, and third-party vendor contracts
• Experience supporting international expansion - entity structuring, local counsel management, multi-jurisdictional compliance

About the Role

The Senior Wealth Strategy Advisor is a foundational hire. This person is responsible for ensuring that Monstro’s financial logic is institution-grade from the outset — correct, complete, and coherent across the full scope of comprehensive wealth management.

Financial planning advice built on imprecise logic compounds its errors over time. Tax assumptions that ignore estate implications, investment recommendations blind to income-phase distinctions, estate structures that conflict with insurance positioning — these are not edge cases. They are the daily reality of comprehensive wealth management, and they are precisely what AI systems get wrong first.

This role exists to prevent that. You will serve as the internal authority on how Monstro’s platform reasons about wealth — not as a reviewer after the fact, but as the architect of the foundational logic itself.

You will work directly with Monstro’s Founder, who brings deep wealth management and family office experience. This role expands that expertise into durable, scalable guidance that safely governs product behavior over time.

Domain Scope

You will be the internal authority across five pillars of comprehensive wealth strategy. Cash flow sits at the foundation — it governs what is possible across every other domain. Deep expertise in at least one pillar is required; the ability to reason across all five collectively is essential.

• Cash flow — Income, expenses, surplus allocation, debt management, liquidity planning — the foundation that determines capacity across every other domain
• Tax planning — Income tax strategy, Roth optimization, tax-efficient withdrawal sequencing, entity structuring, UHNW tax planning
• Estate planning and legal structures — Trust design, estate tax planning, GRATs, dynasty trusts, business succession, generation-skipping strategies, asset protection

What You’ll Do

Define the financial framework foundation

Establish the wealth strategy and provide expertise to the product and engineering team regarding frameworks, principles, and decision guidance that govern how Monstro’s platform reasons about complex financial scenarios. Your expertise defines the foundation — what the platform understands, how it weighs tradeoffs, and where it draws boundaries.

Articulate wealth strategy in a form teams can act on

Translate your financial expertise into clear principles and structured guidance that product teams can work with you to develop into actionable requirements. The goal is articulation — making expert judgment legible and usable for the people responsible for building from it.

Model cross-domain dependencies

Document and clarify the interactions that most AI systems get wrong: how Roth conversion decisions affect estate tax exposure, how trust structures interact with income tax elections, how insurance product positioning changes with retirement income phase. Surface second- and third-order effects before they compound into downstream errors.

Distinguish rules from judgment

Identify where structured, rules-based guidance is appropriate and where expert review or human judgment is required. 

Serve as subject matter expert reviewer

Act as the senior subject matter expert reviewer for early advice frameworks, edge cases, and high-stakes planning scenarios. Establish standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency that withstand institutional scrutiny.

Act as expert, challenger, and gatekeeper

The most common failure mode in AI-assisted financial guidance is not hallucination — it is plausible-sounding advice that ignores the dependency structure of wealth strategy. You serve as the expert, challenger, and gatekeeper: ensuring that oversimplified or technically incorrect guidance never reaches the platform.

• Monstro’s core financial logic reflects institution-grade wealth strategy rigor that expert reviewers would not find fault with
• Cross-domain interactions — tax ↔ estate ↔ investment ↔ planning ↔ cash flow — are correctly modeled and defensible at every dependency point
• Product and engineering teams have clear, actionable guidance — not ambiguity that forces them to make domain decisions they are not equipped to make
• The financial logic established in this role is precise and complete enough that it does not require structural correction as Monstro grows in scope and complexity
• Every simplification is intentional and documented — tradeoffs are explicit, not artifacts of incomplete modeling

What We’re Looking For

Required credentials (one or more):

• JD / Attorney, ideally with tax or estate specialization
• CPA or CPA/PFS
• CFP® combined with an advanced designation (JD, LL.M., AEP®, CPA)
• LL.M. in Taxation
• AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner), particularly at the Distinguished level

Required experience: 

• Senior-level experience equivalent to a Wealth Strategist, Advanced Planning Strategist, or senior practitioner at a top financial institution, law firm, accounting firm, or academic institution
• Deep tax expertise with strong understanding of downstream implications across estate, investment, and planning domains
• Demonstrated experience in estate planning and legal structures — trust design, estate tax strategy, business succession
• Broad financial planning background beyond a single specialty — able to reason across the integrated wealth management system
• Strong academic and technical foundation; comfort with precision and documented reasoning

The practitioner-academic: e.g., CFP® with a PhD, or JD with an academic appointment. Has translated domain expertise into frameworks, curricula, or published research — the exact cognitive habit this role requires for articulating wealth strategy logic clearly and completely.

The Advanced Planning Strategist: e.g., CPA/JD/AEP® from a major institution, law firm, or accounting firm. Has reviewed complex, multi-domain wealth plans under institutional accountability. Accustomed to the standard of rigor Monstro’s platform must meet.

The cross-credentialed specialist: e.g., CPA + JD + CFP®, or JD + LL.M. + AEP®. Holds credentials spanning tax, legal, and planning domains simultaneously. Multiple credentials across domains are evidence of the integrated thinking this role requires — not resume decoration

The financial framework builder: e.g., prior experience building guidance frameworks, institutional playbooks, or structured advisory systems. Has experience translating expert financial judgment into documented frameworks, structured guidance, or institutional playbooks — whether at a major firm, fintech, or in an advisory capacity. Additional Signals We Value

• Published research, authored curricula, or editorial board participation in financial planning or estate planning journals (Journal of Financial Planning, Financial Planning Review, ACTEC Law Journal, NAEPC Journal)
• Experience with UHNW or family office complexity — environments where cross-domain planning errors have material consequence
• Prior exposure to AI-enabled financial tools, rules-based platforms, or fintech product development
• Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor without a team of analysts
