Senior Business Process Analyst

About the Role

The Senior Business Process Analyst will tackle large-scale challenges within internal projects, collaborating closely with engineers, finance and accounting professionals, and technical business analysts as a subject matter expert. This role involves developing strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding business ecosystems, and managing process implementation activities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of skillset that integrates accounting/finance experience, robust reporting and project management abilities, along with expertise in process mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with teams of engineers, accounting and finance professionals, and technical business analysts to define and design efficient internal processes.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand project ecosystems and identify where solutions will be implemented.

• Process Design & Mapping: Proficiently define and map processes and workflows to ensure finance teams have clear, actionable guidance.

• Problem Solving: Address large-scale challenges in our internal projects and navigate ambiguous situations to comprehend new business domains.

• Innovation & Feedback: Stay up to date on new technologies and tools relevant to the work performed at Monks, providing constructive ideas to improve processes and practices.

• Project Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of various initiatives assigned by your supervisor, product management, or their designee, ensuring strict adherence to timelines.

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of accounting/finance experience and/or experience implementing ERP systems.

• Technical Knowledge: Mandatory experience with NetSuite. Prior experience in ERP implementations or Salesforce is a significant plus.

• Project Expertise: Proven track record of managing technical projects and finance-oriented workflows.

As a key member of the Backend Development team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, documenting, installing, maintaining, and supporting applications that enable businesses to operate more efficiently and competitively.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience with Java 7/8.
• Language: English proficiency is mandatory.
• Technical Design: Strong background in application design and analysis, design patterns, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Integrations: Experience with WebServices, REST APIs, and third-party API integrations (OAuth, social media, etc.).
• Modern Tech Stack: Experience with modern technologies, including:
• Cloud Environments: AWS (EC2), GCP, and/or Azure.
• Containers/Virtualization: Docker and Vagrant.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency in Git and/or BitBucket; experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Background: Experience in consulting, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility, creativity, and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications (Pluses)

• • Experience in CMS development.
  • Experience with SpringBoot and the Spring framework/context.
