Job Purpose

The Lead, Inbound Sales is responsible for driving consistent revenue performance across the inbound sales team by coaching, managing, and developing a team of Inbound Sales agents. You will serve as the operational backbone of the inbound function, ensuring process adherence, maintaining pipeline health, hitting team targets, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. This role bridges frontline execution and sales leadership, combining hands-on deal involvement with day-to-day team management.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead & Develop: Manage a team of Inbound Sales Representatives, providing daily guidance, motivation, and performance support.
• Coach: Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and coaching sessions to develop reps' product knowledge, objection handling, and closing skills.
• Onboard: Onboard new team members, ensuring they are fully ramped within the first 90 days in line with defined success metrics.
• Performance Management: Identify skill gaps across the team and design targeted coaching plans or escalate training needs to the Sales Manager.

Sales Operations & Performance

• Drive Targets: Own team-level sales targets (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ensure reps consistently meet or exceed individual quotas.
• Track Activity: Monitor daily activity metrics, calls made, demos conducted, leads qualified, deals closed, and intervene proactively when performance dips.
• Deal Support: Step in to support complex or high-value deals, co-selling where needed to rescue at-risk opportunities.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain and enforce accurate CRM hygiene across the team, reviewing pipeline data and deal stages regularly.

Process & Quality Assurance

• Process Adherence: Ensure all inbound inquiries are responded to on schedule and in line with the defined business process.
• Quality Control: Review and score sales calls and demos for quality; share feedback in structured call review sessions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and flag recurring bottlenecks in the lead-to-conversion journey and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Handoff Management: Own the smooth handoff process between Sales and Onboarding, ensuring customers transition seamlessly post-purchase.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Marketing Feedback: Provide structured feedback on lead quality from various channels to the Marketing, Business, and Growth teams.
• Product Alignment: Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to stay current on platform updates, ensuring the team delivers accurate and compelling demos.
• Leadership Reporting: Represent the inbound team in sales leadership meetings, reporting on performance, blockers, and team insights.

Reporting & Analysis

• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly team performance reports for the Growth Manager, including quota attainment, conversion rates, and activity data.
• Analysis: Analyse team performance trends and recommend data-driven improvements to the inbound sales process.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4 - 8 years of experience in inbound or SaaS sales, with at least 4 years in a team lead, senior, or supervisory capacity
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior sales reps, either formally or informally
• Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and sales engagement platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,  able to run effective meetings, deliver feedback, and present to leadership
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable reading pipeline data, identifying trends, and making decisions from metrics
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

• Weeks 3–4: Run first structured call review sessions. Identify top performers and reps needing coaching. Audit CRM for pipeline accuracy.
• Month 2: Implement at least one process improvement based on early observations. Begin tracking team KPIs on a weekly basis.
• Month 3: Team achieves 85–100% of the monthly quota. All reps have active coaching plans. First performance report delivered to Sales Manager.

The Implementation Officer ensures new retail customers successfully adopt Moniebook POS into their daily store operations through structured, high-touch onboarding experiences. This role bridges the gap between sales and long-term customer success by transforming newly signed customers into confident, active users who derive maximum value from the platform within their first 30-60 days.

Operating as the customer's primary guide during the critical early adoption phase, you will understand each retailer's unique operational needs, configure Moniebook to fit their workflow, deliver effective training, and drive product adoption that sets the foundation for retention and expansion. Success is measured by activation rates, time-to-value, feature adoption depth, and seamless handoffs to Account Managers.

Job Purpose

The Inbound Sales Officer responds to customer inquiries coming from various lead channels (website inquiries, partner referrals, social media, events, and other inbound sources) and converts interested prospects into paying Moniebook customers. You will be the first point of contact for people who have expressed interest in our platform, guiding them through product demonstrations, answering questions, and helping them make informed purchase decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to Inbound Inquiries on schedule, following the outlined business process
• Qualify Leads: Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process. Determine if our solution is the right fit for their business.
• Conduct Product Demonstrations: Schedule and deliver engaging online demos (via Zoom/Google Meet) that showcase how Moniebook solves customer problems.
• Close Deals: Guide qualified prospects through pricing discussions, address concerns, handle objections, and close sales. Work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Manage Customer Relationships: Build trust and rapport with prospects throughout the sales process. Follow up consistently, provide excellent service, and ensure smooth handoffs to our Onboarding team after purchase.
• Identify Upsell Opportunities: Recognize when customers could benefit from premium features or additional services and introduce them appropriately during conversations.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Log all customer interactions, update deal stages, and track your pipeline on the tools provided.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Provide feedback on lead quality from different channels. Share common customer questions and insights to help improve our lead generation efforts.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in weekly sales training, practice call reviews with your manager, and continuously improve your Moniebook product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications

• 0 - 3 years of work experience in any field (SaaS sales, sales, or fresh graduates welcome)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with technology and learning new software tools quickly.
• Strong listening skills and genuine curiosity to understand customer needs
• Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple conversations simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

• Week 1-2: Complete onboarding and product training. Shadow experienced reps on calls and demos. Begin handling simple inquiries with manager support.
• Week 3-4: Start managing your own leads independently. Conduct your first solo product demos. Close your first deals with coaching.
• Month 2-3: Consistently meet daily activity targets (calls made, emails sent, demos scheduled). Build confidence in handling objections and closing techniques.
• By Day 90: Achieve 80-100% of your monthly sales quota. Demonstrate solid Moniebook product knowledge. Maintain clean CRM records. Receive positive feedback from customers and team members.
