ABOUT THE ROLE

Mizzen + Main is seeking a Senior Technical Designer / Technical Design Manager who brings deep technical mastery, a refined eye for fit, and a passion for building category-defining product.  As a senior member of a small, high-impact team, this person will be hands-on in every stage of the technical design process, from measuring samples to running fit sessions to partnering directly with vendors. While this role does not have direct reports today, it offers a path to future leadership as our brand and technical design function grow.  The ideal candidate is energized by the opportunity to influence the long-term fit identity of the brand and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Own fit for Mizzen+Main across all categories. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Develop fit specifications and establish fit blocks for all new products, with a focus on building a best-in-class fit library that drives customer loyalty and repeat purchase. 
  • Develop grade rules across size sets for all new products. 
  • Evaluate and measure samples and protos to determine compliance of specs, construction, quality, and design intent. 
  • Own detailed comments and address all garment corrections with factory representatives. 
  • Collaborate with design, PD, and production to ensure design intent is executed with the highest quality of fit, construction, and workmanship while maintaining deadlines. 
  • Understand and recommend sewing efficiencies and construction best practices. 
  • Lead fit sessions by understanding the purpose and intent of the garment. Ensure meticulous notes are taken during session so correct information is communicated to vendors for production.
• Own our Wear Testing process in partnership with the head of Product Development.
• Act as a strategic partner in shaping the future of our fit philosophy, especially in bottoms, influencing long-term block development, customer experience, and brand differentiation.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with the applicable vendor base with detailed follow-up.
• Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the customer. 
• Review feedback from all commercial channels; develop recommendations to improve fit/size specs, and measure results to ensure we're delivering a great-fitting product. 
• Work within calendar to ensure deadlines are maintained.
• Partner with R&D for proto development and fabric construction insight.
• Lead review and work with our commercial channels on fit tools.
• Assist with communication to factories on fit and pattern.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Degree in apparel manufacturing, product development, or apparel design related field. 
• 5–7+ years of experience in Technical Design, with demonstrated senior-level ownership of fit and pattern development. 
• Expertise in bottoms fitting, patternmaking, and grading is strongly preferred and will be a key differentiator.
• Knowledge of menswear construction. 
• In-depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction, and fit. 
• Must have pattern fit experience as well as understanding of basic apparel production processes. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Proficient in basic office software and preferably some PLM experience. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are in search of a detail oriented individual with strong problem-solving and communication skills to join the team as our Associate Production Manager. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring our product is built with integrity, intention, and alignment with our brand vision.  As the sole production lead on a rapidly scaling team, you will be a key contributor to our financial success by negotiating product margins and managing the global production lifecycle. We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit—someone who doesn't just manage a process but actively creates better ones as we grow our style count and vendor base.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Negotiation & Financial Impact

• Analyze and negotiate FOB costing based on units and minimums to meet or exceed product margin targets.
• Confirm all costing and deliveries each season for all styles.
• Track and report on department KPIs, specifically On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Air vs. Sea freight percentages to protect margin and inform decision making.

Production Execution & PO Management

• Own the PO lifecycle in partnership with Planning; issue, update, and maintain all purchase orders as necessary to capture approved changes in price or delivery.
• Partner with Product Development to allocate bulk orders based on factory capacity, capability, workmanship, and cost.

Capacity Planning & Global Strategy

• Project annual and style-specific units to vendors and raw material mills to reserve necessary capacity.
• Develop and maintain recaps for management regarding factory and country-specific capacity to manage brand exposure and supply chain diversification.

Agility & Speed to Market

• Lead the management of Time and Action (T&A) calendars and Speed to Market calendars to drastically improve inventory efficiencies.
• Partner with Planning and Merchandising to pre-position fabrics by style or program, allowing for quicker response to market trends.
• Establish and manage "Call Dates" with internal teams and vendors.  Shift away from long-lead seasonal commitments in favor of monthly cut triggers on core items to maintain agility.
• Support replenishment strategies and chase capabilities to drive seasonal agility

Quality Control & Timeline Management

• Oversee quality, compliance, and on-time delivery throughout the production lifecycle.
• Provide vendors with the company’s testing requirements and standards.
• Manage real‑time maintenance of WIP reports and serve as the main point of contact for delivery delays and related communication.  
• Monitor and enforce that all PPS and TOPS are sent and approved for every PO before bulk shipment.
• Partner with logistics to ensure finished goods reach the port on time and product launches stay on schedule.

Factory Partnership & Performance Management

• Build strong operational relationships with mill and factory partners.  
• Evaluate supplier performance related to cost, speed, quality, and reliability and mitigate risk and exposure.  
• Support continuous supplier improvement initiatives including efficiency enhancements, waste reduction, and workflow optimization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 3–5 years in apparel production or manufacturing (Men’s premium apparel is a plus).
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work independently to refine systems.
• High proficiency in Excel and can translate complex data into actionable timelines with urgency.
• You can build high-trust relationships with external vendors while effectively communicating delays or wins to internal teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Mizzen+Main is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand story to life and ensuring our marketing initiatives are executed flawlessly. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, you will be the organizational glue for our go-to-market campaigns, acting as a key liaison across creative, merchandising, and external partners. A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Champion brand integrity across all go-to-market initiatives by collaborating seamlessly with creative, marketing, merchandising, and channel leads.
• Analyze and synthesize customer insights, apparel market trends, and customer feedback, translating data into actionable recommendations to elevate the end-to-end brand and product experience.
• Serve as the day-to-day liaison for external and third-party partnerships, ensuring timely communication and coordinating all logistical needs under the guidance of the Brand Manager.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment by partnering closely with the Brand Manager and Marketing Project Manager to cascade critical updates, assets, and marketing plans across all channels.
• Manage the execution of product gifting and seeding initiatives, ensuring a premium unboxing experience for VIPs, influencers, "friends of the brand," and Team Mizzen members.
• Monitor the competitive landscape: Keep a pulse on competitor campaigns, product launches, and broader menswear industry trends, compiling regular recap reports for the marketing team.
• Track campaign performance: Assist in gathering assets and building recap decks to measure the success of brand marketing initiatives, partnerships, and activations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in brand marketing, PR, or marketing operations, preferably within the apparel, retail, or consumer goods industries.
• Project Management Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, manage logistical details, and keep cross-functional teams aligned. (Experience with tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar is a plus).
• Communication: Stellar written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable acting as a liaison with external partners and presenting recap decks to internal stakeholders.
• Analytical Mindset: A curious nature with the ability to look at consumer feedback and industry trends, synthesizing them into easily digestible insights.
• Industry Passion: A strong interest in the menswear landscape, cultural trends, and the competitive retail market.
• Team Player: A "no task is too small" attitude. You are just as comfortable brainstorming go-to-market strategies as you are packing boxes for a premium VIP gifting initiative.
• Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides) to build out campaign recaps and visual guides.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Systems Administrator, you’ll keep our business systems running smoothly through the administration, performance, and ongoing evolution of our ERP platform and connected applications. You’ll partner across teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and support the integrations and upgrades that help our business move with speed and confidence. You’ll also be a go‑to resource for user support, access management, and device setup across both our office and retail environments. A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Administer and configure the ERP platform (NetSuite preferred), including roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, and data governance.
• Maintain system integrity through audits, documentation, and proactive monitoring.
• Support integrations between ERP and other business applications.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and support new functionality.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and testing cycles. Monitor and manage patches and OS updates as needed.
• Develop system integrations and maintain existing ones, using the DellBoomi SaaS platform.
• Manage core business applications, user provisioning, and system access controls.
• Maintain documentation for systems, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues appropriately.
• Provide user support for hardware, software, and account issues.
• Work closely with IT service providers to support users in the office and retail stores.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks and device setup.
• Help users understand system changes, new features, or updated workflows.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding employee, company and customer information.
• Stay abreast of system technology best practices and changing technologies for business technology enhancements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, ERP administration, or business systems support.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP platform (NetSuite strongly preferred, but open to others).
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, or middleware tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a process‑improvement mindset.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and any form of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting; experience with the Dell Boomi platform is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site, or retail/omni‑channel environment is a plus.
• Knowledge in at least one programming language.
• Good organization, time management and prioritization.
• Travel to retail locations may be required to install new hardware.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Design Contractor, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise technical packages. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and manufacturing reality, ensuring our signature fit and quality are maintained across all categories.

This is a temporary contractor position (~3 months) supporting our Design team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Technical Design & CADs: Create detailed, accurate flat sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
• PLM Management: Full ownership of data entry, tech pack creation, and BOM (Bill of Materials) management within the WFX PLM system.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Utilize Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Slides) to manage design trackers, line plans, and collaborative feedback loops.
• Product Development: Support the design team in refining silhouettes, selecting trims, and ensuring all technical specifications meet brand standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (specifically for technical apparel flats).
• PLM Experience: Proven experience working within WFX (World Fashion Exchange) or a similar high-level PLM system is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Digital Fluency: Highly organized in Google Platform (Sheets/Docs) for data management and collaborative CAD sharing.
• Apparel Expertise: Strong understanding of garment construction, performance fabrics, and the "Mizzen+Main fit."
• Efficiency: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
