Our Web team works on solutions that enable our clients to easily extract data from their customer’s documents, like ID cards, driver’s licenses, passports, travel visas, and credit cards, among others. These solutions are used in over 20 industries, with the reach of more than 100 million end-users. You can try our demo (https://demo.microblink.com/blinkid) on any modern desktop or mobile browser.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Build highly stable and reliable SDKs used by our clients all over the world
- Collaborate with product owners, QA team, and other engineers (Android engineers, iOS engineers, other Web SDKs engineers, C++ engineers)
- Work closely with product management, application software engineers, and partners to understand requirements, specify interfaces for new software frameworks, and enhance existing frameworks
- Together with other team members, participate in decision-making related to the end-user experience and developer experience. We want it to be as easy for developers to integrate our SDK as it is for the end-user to use the final application.
- Contribute to cross-platform SDK development for Flutter and React Native, bridging our Android and iOS native SDK capabilities to mobile cross-platform environments
- Further automate our release and publishing process
- Mentor other engineers and help cultivate a growing team
- Contribute to establishing good engineering practices in software development and suggest improvements for processes, tools, and projects
You'll be successful in this role if you have
- strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and web development
- deep understanding of web platform development using TypeScript and JavaScript, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and modular code
- Solid knowledge of browser APIs, memory management, concurrency (Web Workers, async/await), and performance optimization in browser environments
- Experience with web architecture and best practices – Strong understanding of web architectural patterns, browser lifecycle management, and the modern web ecosystem
- Familiarity with dependency management and package distribution tools (npm, yarn) and module bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Rollup)
- Experience with designing reusable libraries, APIs, or SDKs – Ability to design stable, well-documented APIs with a strong focus on backward compatibility, developer experience, and ease of integration across different JavaScript environments (vanilla JS, bundlers, frameworks like React/Angular/Vue)
Nice to have:
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native and/or Flutter), including building or maintaining plugins/bridges between native Android/iOS and cross-platform layers.
- Experience with WebAssembly (WASM) and C++ interop
- Hands-on experience writing WASM bindings to C++ code, exposing native functionality to JavaScript/TypeScript consumers
- Familiarity with toolchains such as Emscripten, and understanding of the WASM execution model, memory model, and its constraints within the browser sandbox.

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Web SDK Engineer to help us build highly reliable, developer-friendly SDKs used globally.
About the role
As a Web SDK Engineer, you will play a key role in building and improving our web-based SDKs, focusing on performance, stability, and developer experience. You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside product managers, QA, and cross-platform engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
What you'll do
- Build highly stable and reliable Web SDKs used by clients worldwide
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and engineers across Android, iOS, Web, and C++ teams
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to define requirements and design scalable interfaces
- Contribute to decisions around end-user experience and developer experience, ensuring seamless SDK integration
- Develop and maintain cross-platform SDK capabilities (e.g., React Native, Flutter)
- Improve and automate release and publishing processes
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth
- Help define and improve engineering practices, tools, and processes
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web development

About the Role
As an Android Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and improving our Android SDKs, focusing on performance, stability, and developer experience. You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside product managers, QA, and cross-platform engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions used by millions of end users.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Build highly stable and reliable Android SDKs used by clients worldwide
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and engineers across iOS, Web SDK, and C++ teams
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to define requirements, design scalable interfaces, and enhance existing frameworks
- Contribute to decisions around end-user experience and developer experience, ensuring seamless SDK integration
- Improve and automate release processes
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth
- Help define and improve engineering practices, tools, and processes
You'll be successful in this role if you:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a focus on writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
- Hands-on experience with modern Android development concepts such as Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack Compose
- Solid understanding of Android architecture and best practices (MVVM, lifecycle management, Android Jetpack libraries)
- Experience designing SDKs and APIs with a strong focus on stability, backward compatibility, and developer experience
Nice to have:
- Experience with Android NDK and/or C++
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native and/or Flutter)
- Experience building or maintaining bridges/plugins between native and cross-platform layers
