Position summary:

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties. Process consumer and commercial checking and savings deposits, process loan payment, cash checks and savings withdrawals. Primary liaison for customers in situations requiring research and follow-up. This role sits at the intersection of data science and software engineering, reporting to the manager of the IT Application Development and Support team and working closely with the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, transforming innovative AI prototypes into robust, scalable production systems. • Support AI Scientists in building, configuring, and testing applied AI/GenAI solutions for high-value banking use cases such as credit memo generation, policy/regulatory summarization, knowledge assistants, and internal productivity copilots.
• Develop and refine prompts, grounding instructions, structured outputs, evaluation datasets, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings, vector search, document chunking, and metadata-driven retrieval.
• Prepare and transform structured and unstructured data; assist with API integrations, notebooks, and repeatable workflows that improve quality, traceability, and analyst productivity.

Agentic workflow design & orchestration:

• Assist in designing and testing agentic workflows using approved enterprise platforms and frameworks, including multi-agent patterns, human-in-the-loop approvals, handoffs, and subagent / agents-as-tools designs.
• Work with emerging interoperability patterns such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool / skill / plugin integration, and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) connectivity under supervision and within approved guardrails.

Position Summary:

The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager is the primary contact for established borrowing clients.  Under the general direction of the department head and its Commercial Lenders, this position’s primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as it relates to assigned portfolio loans together with the cross selling of Bank products and services. • Draft credit submission memoranda and maintain accurate pipeline tracking to support timely credit decisioning.

The CRE Lending Group Head will be responsible for developing new business, structuring, and closing commercial real estate loans. They will also be responsible for maintaining the existing portfolio of loans, and ensuring efficient operations of the Commercial Real Estate Department.

Position summary:

As the Compliance Ethics & Advisory Lead, you will be responsible for administering the bank’s ethics compliance program. Qualifications & Skills:

About the role:

The Credit Underwriter (AVP) is responsible for undertaking and presenting robust credit risk analysis in support of relationship-led loan requests from our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) team. The role will focus on traditional C&I. The underwriter will be expected to lead underwriting for straight forward loans, with senior support provided for the more complex transactions.

Responsibilities 

• Oversee and lead the credit underwriting team, ensuring effective challenge, preparation of robust credit memorandums incorporating detailed risk analysis and accurate risk ratings aligned with credit risk strategy, policies, procedures and regulations.
• The officer will review, and sponsor credits submitted for credit approval, ensuring the risk rating is an appropriate reflection of the credit risk profile of each borrower.
• Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to maintain portfolio quality and mitigate risks, balancing disciplined growth and credit risk appetite in lending activities. Advise on loan terms, including repayment schedules, covenants, collateral and other credit conditions.  Attend client meetings and/or site visits as appropriate.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues across Credit, Portfolio Management and lending functions by providing guidance on underwriting, structuring, and managing credit risks while ensuring compliance with internal policy requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Support in talent assessment and performance reviews with the credit function
• Lead / participate effectively in Credit Committee and other Committee meetings as appropriate. Ensure all credit-related questions from the approval authority are addressed efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee the accurate completion of various monthly, quarterly or ad hoc reports as necessary in a timely manner.
• Liaise with regulators and auditors on credit-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Monitor credit exposures, portfolio quality and concentration risks, and analyze trends and early warning indicators to mitigate potential credit risks.
• Drive implementation of technology transformation and efficiency maximization across the credit function, aligning with technology and AI strategies.
• Lead team discussions to promote and secure support for strategic initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry’s best practices and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to help influence and shape the CCO and DCCO’s strategic decision making as well as drive innovation for the benefit of the team and the Bank.

Qualifications & Skills:

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 12 years' experience in CRE (e.g. Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, Office, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality, Charter Schools, Construction) and be a seasoned, credit trained banker who has demonstrated the ability to thrive in a credit intensive environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills with reputation as a team player and with a hands-on approach, setting goals, motivating and managing the performance of team members as well as showing a willingness to invest in the coaching and development of team members.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and experience of all key segments of the CRE industry, with particular focus on the Tri-State region and South Florida.

Position summary:

Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s Lending Group is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to assist in closing loans for a growing commercial loan portfolio.  This role will assist with the loan closing process and management of the loan portfolio.  The portfolio is comprised of a wide variety of property types including multifamily, nursing facilities, retail, office, hotel, and construction.

Responsibilities 

• Serve as main liaison for all aspects of the loan closing process of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) transactions for complex loan transactions which includes reviewing and negotiating loan documents, preparing loan settlement statements, ensuring all due diligence items required for closing are in received, and confirming compliance with both internal and external policies.
• Coordinate with several internal bank departments throughout the closing process including the credit group to ensure closing requirements as outlined in the credit memo are met, the loan operations group to pre-board new client and collateral data to bank systems and to close and fund the loans on the day of closing, and the lending deposits group to have the necessary deposit accounts opened prior to closing.
• Review attorney prepared legal documents for accuracy to loan approval and to ensure operational functionality is in-line with bank’s system capabilities.
• Coordinate closing aspect of loan renewals and modifications in a similar manner to new loan closings.
• Manage entire loan payoff and collateral release process by working bank attorneys, borrowers, and loan operations department for termination documents and payoff letters.
• Serve as main point of contact for several monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance-related reports and audits as assigned by Director of Loan Closings (eg: quarterly withdrawn loans log, OFAC audit, etc.).
• Work on additional tasks, assignments and projects as needed.

• 3+ years of experience with complex commercial loan closings, both CRE and C&I.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of Associate Legal Counsel - Litigation, the Senior Paralegal - Legal Service of Process and Discovery serves as the senior operational and subject‑matter lead for the Bank’s end‑to‑end handling of legal process and supports most discovery matters. This role is responsible for managing and owning the intake, tracking, response and resolution of legal documents served on the Bank including subpoenas, levies, garnishments, restraining notices, discovery requests, and document preservation and production obligations. The role also serves as the Bank’s internal lead, under the supervision and guidance of the Associate Legal Counsel, for discovery and e‑discovery operations, including litigation holds, data collection, review coordination, and productions, using Relativity and similar e‑discovery platforms. This position requires hands‑on expertise, the ability to work independently, and the judgment to escalate risk appropriately. The Senior Paralegal is expected to produce high‑quality work product, exercise discretion in sensitive matters, and lead a team responsible for high‑volume, deadline‑driven legal process.

This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to efficiently handle a high volume of complex deadline-oriented legal documents. The Senior Paralegal will lead efforts to restructure the existing processes to improve efficiency, transparency and workflow accountability. The Senior Paralegal leads efforts including but not limited to coordinating with governmental proponents of process, responding to subpoena requests, drafting written correspondence, and preserving records and other evidence. The position requires a demonstrated mastery of legal process and discovery lifecycle, from intake through final resolution, document management systems and research, and organizational skills. This position will report to the Associate Legal Counsel and will also work closely with the General Counsel, and other Legal Department attorneys and professionals.

Legal Process & Discovery Leadership

• Working closely with in-house Counsel, lead the restructuring of the existing intake process and workflows to improve operational efficiency.

• Establish clear accountability, reporting, and follow-up mechanisms across the workflow.
• Own and manage the Bank’s legal process and discovery lifecycle, from intake through final resolution.

• Administer and manage Relativity, including workspace setup, user permissions, searches, tagging, quality control, and production workflows.
• Coordinate with IT, Records Management, internal stakeholders, and together with the Associate Legal Counsel, outside counsel on defensible collection and production strategies.
• Maintain defensible audit trails and documentation for discovery decisions and productions.
• Identify and mitigate discovery‑related risk, burden, and cost.

Team Oversight & Process Management

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Staff Accountant is to support the corporate controller’s team. This will include processing month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations. Position Summary:

The Vice President AI Model Validation with extensive big-bank experience, strong technical expertise, and proven capabilities in model risk management, risk reporting, and large-scale data management, will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Bank’s Model Risk Management framework in compliance with regulatory guidance (e.g., SR 11-7). This individual will be well-versed in regulatory requirements, model governance frameworks, and secure data practices, enabling a more resilient, compliant, and value-added risk management function.  The VP AI Model Validation will oversee the governance, validation, monitoring, and reporting of models used across the Bank—including BSA/AML, Credit, CECL, ALM, Capital planning, Stress testing, liquidity, and other decision-support models.

• Support and enhance the Bank’s Model Risk Management policy, procedures, and control framework.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business units, finance, risk, audit, and IT to ensure models meet business and regulatory needs.

 Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously review and enhance risk management processes, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving business environments and emerging risks.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field (PhD or CFA/FRM preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant experience in model risk management, validation, or quantitative risk within a bank or consulting firm.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to Basel III, Dodd-Frank Act, BSA/AML, and consumer protection laws. Knowledge of requirements for banks exceeding the $10 billion asset threshold.
• Experience with CECL, ALM, stress testing, and other regulatory/decision-support models.
• Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks and their application in risk management.
• Knowledge of Federal Reserve, New York State Department of Financial Services and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret emerging risks and issues, and trends in Key Risk Indicator data in order to escalate any negative trends to senior management.

• Maintain CECL analysis & reporting spreadsheets and assist in enhancing reporting processes and automation.

The Vice President, Product Management - Commercial Banking is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of key banking products across commercial segments. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs, market insights, and business strategy into scalable, compliant, and profitable banking solutions.

The ACH Electronic Payment Associate is responsible for processing, monitoring, and reconciling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. This role supports commercial banking clients by handling ACH file transmission, researching transaction discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with NACHA operating rules and bank policies. The ideal candidate has strong diligence, excellent critical thinking skills, and a solid understanding of electronic payment systems. This role will report into the ACH Operations Manager.

Standard 4-day in-office requirement, 1 day remote (of your choosing)

This role requires availability for weekly rotation 9am - 5pm, and 10am - 6pm.

Responsibilities 

• Monitor ACH file transmissions and resolve exceptions or errors in a timely manner.
• Assist customers and internal teams with ACH-related inquiries, including research and resolving transaction issues.
• Complete ACH Risk Assessments
• Review and clear OFAC hits in ACH systems
• Reconcile ACH transactions including Notice of Reclamation and FRB debits
• Process for ACH returns and exception handling
• Ensure compliance with NACHA rules, banking regulations, and internal policies related to ACH processing.
• Review & process Proof of Authorization (POA) and Trace Requests
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ACH processing and compliance
• Participate in system upgrades, testing and process improvements to enhance ACH Operations

• 3+ years banking experience, in ACH processing, electronic payments or banking operations

The Wire Transfers Payment Associate is responsible for processing, monitoring, and reconciling wire transfer transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. This role supports all clients by processing wires transfers, researching transaction discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with OFAC, Travel Rule, and bank policies. The ideal candidate has strong diligence, excellent critical thinking skills, and a solid understanding of wire transfer payment systems.

This position will report to the Director of Digital Banking Operations. 

Standard 4-day in-office requirement, 1 day remote (of your choosing). Additionally, there are weekly shifts for this role where you will be assigned each of the below shifts for a one week period:

8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm & 11am-7pm 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process both incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
• Perform fraud monitoring verification for outgoing wires.
• Review and clear OFAC hits in wire system.
• Perform daily wire transfer reconciliation.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries timely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all wire transfer transactions.
• Ensure compliance with OFAC, Travel Rule, banking regulations, and internal policies related to wire transfers processing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wire transfers processing and compliance.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing and process improvements to enhance wire transfer operations.
• Process ACH transactions when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
