Mercury's ability to deliver on customer trust comes down to one thing: every dollar must be accounted for, in every account, across every transaction, with a complete audit trail that satisfies regulators, engineers, and accountants alike. Mercury's Ledger is the system that makes that possible—a double-entry bookkeeping engine that records every financial event as balanced, auditable entries as money moves through Mercury's products and banking* infrastructure.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own this platform across Mercury. The Ledger team sits at the intersection of financial infrastructure, regulatory accountability, and org-wide platform adoption—and the PM who leads it will need to be as comfortable discussing chart of accounts design as reviewing event schemas. This is a load-bearing platform role: the decisions made here flow downstream to every payment rail at Mercury and have direct impact on regulatory and reporting obligations.

At Mercury, we are building the banking* stack for startups and doing so with a focus on building a high-craft, simple, and powerful product experience.
We believe the future of financial software is infrastructure that works on your behalf. Mercury's API is how our most ambitious customers interact with us programmatically: pulling transaction data, managing accounts, and increasingly, connecting Mercury to AI-powered workflows through integrations like MCP. We're building toward a Mercury that customers and AI agents can talk to, ask questions of, and take action through.
We're looking for a product manager to own Mercury's API, our integrations with the broader AI and developer tool ecosystem, and the AI-powered product experiences we're building to make Mercury programmable and intelligent. This is a role for someone who's been building in the API and AI space already and who sees the opportunity to make a bank programmable as one of the most interesting product problems available right now.

In 1924, Benjamin Graham began teaching a night class at Columbia Business School. His students were Wall Street professionals who came to learn a radical idea: that investing could be rigorous, disciplined, and principled, not merely speculative. Graham insisted that the best investors weren’t the ones with the sharpest instincts, but the ones who built the most trustworthy systems. He spent the rest of his career proving it.
A century later, most investment platforms still feel like they were designed for the speculative crowd. Mercury is building something different. We believe startups and growing businesses deserve investment infrastructure that is principled, transparent, and embedded in the tools they already use to run their finances.
Our Treasury product already helps thousands of companies put their idle cash to work, and Mercury Invest brings investing to our personal banking* customers. We operate a registered investment adviser and are standing up an introducing broker-dealer to support these offerings.
We’re looking for a Head of Investments to lead this effort across both our business and personal investing products. This role will also serve in formal regulated capacities, including President of Mercury Advisory (our registered investment adviser) and CEO of our introducing broker-dealer.
This is a rare role: part investment leader, part product leader, and part regulatory executive. You’ll sit in the Product org, working at the intersection of investments, product development, brokerage operations, and compliance, ensuring that as we scale our investment platform, we do so with the rigor and care our customers trust us for.
