As a Product Finisher, you would be working in a shop environment where your responsibilities will include:

• Using various hand tools to install manway lids and cabinet lids when required
• Removing all plastic and tape after a unit is painted
• Applying all required stickers and labels
• Install bushing supports when required

About Maddox + You:

As a Yard Coordinator, you will be working outside where your attention to detail will be deployed to safely operate a 50T mobile gantry crane as well as a 32,000lb forklift. You will be responsible for:

• The stocking of transformers in the storage yard in an efficient and orderly manner
• Loading and unloading flatbed trailers
• Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to properly record shipment information
• Perform yard maintenance (Cleanup of oil spills, dragging the yard, picking up trash, etc.)
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly inspections of the forklifts and mobile gantry crane

Your day-to-day activities will involve the evaluation, disassembly, reconditioning, and reassembly of electrical transformers; removing/replacing accessories, cleaning and repairing parts, replacing gaskets and seals, and performing basic MIG welding and metal fabrication. You will also be trained in basic electrical testing, as well as inventory evaluation, paint, and quality control procedures.
