POSITION SUMMARY

BMO Stadium is hiring a full-time Safety Supervisor. This position is responsible for carrying out all safety-related tasks.

This role reports to the Manager, Safety and Security.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversee BMO Stadium officers and security command post operations including, but not limited to, coordination of employee breaks, stadium patrols and assigning daily post orders.
• Responsible for ensuring the safety of all visitors at BMO Stadium.
• Manage daily pass-down sheets and communication between shift supervisors and ensure officers are briefed accordingly prior to their shift.
• Maintain a high level of communication within the department regarding event details and shift change.
• Supervise and manage safety operations of daily events in the stadium, including but not limited to, walkthrough metal detector (WTMD) relocation, hand wand and WTMD batteries inventory, post-event sweeps of stadium, facilitate locker trailer bag requests, and manage Lost and Found inventory.
• Manage Safety Department equipment inventories including, but not limited to, keys, walkthrough metal detectors, hand wands, divesting tables, credentials, and radios.
• Develop event day packets and deployment sheets, as necessary.
• Assist in event day execution.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have a current valid guard card.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a security related field.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Programs (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, ect).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with C-Cure or Avigilon software is a plus.
• Ability to stand/walk with limited assistance for a minimum of 5 hours. 
• Ability to withstand various weather elements such as high temperatures and rain. 
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
• Bilingual is a plus.

SALARY RANGE

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager, Safety and Security is responsible for reviewing and implementing a comprehensive customer and event safety program for BMO Stadium. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Safety and Security department to ensure all LAFC facilities are consistently providing the soundest and best customer service experience while maintaining industry best safety standards.  

This role reports to the Manager, Safety and Security.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Put into action all aspects of the Safety and Security department including but not limited to; implementing and enforcing building operations and event security protocols, hiring practices, training and retention, shift schedules, daily venue activity schedule, video surveillance system, and incident report/documentation.
• Serves as secondary supervisory contact for LAFC full and part-time security officers and supervisors regarding performance, operations, and department needs. Responsible for supervising, motivating, and training. 
• Responsible for time and attendance tracking, scheduling, and adherence.
• Ensure the department is operating within the parameters of established budget while actively seeking creative and cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and distribute staffing estimates and invoicing for all public and private events and execute accordingly.
• Create and execute the facility’s command center operation plan for event and non-event days.
• Assist in development and implementation of written documentation pertaining to safety and security plans for small, medium, and large events, as well as the normal day to day operations of the facility.
• Remain up to date on issues regarding changes to technology and laws, ordinances, rules and /or procedures affecting the security/security industry to ensure compliance and the safety and security of staff, guests, and attendees.
• Ensure initiatives and programs are consistent across the security and safety department to deliver the best customer service in the industry.
• Respond to all escalated issues or emergency situations appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Partner with department heads to create a credential program for staff and coordinate electronic access control systems including employee badge and key card systems throughout the stadium and training facility.
• Utilize and manage our on-site incident reporting system and storage of all after-action reports for all events and non-event related incidents.
• Assist department head in development and execution of inventory, storage, and issuance program for key venue assets. 
• Serve as department manager on duty for events as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree from an accredited College/University in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or related field, or equivalent experience in similar role required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of security experience or related role required, preferably in a sports and entertainment venue.
• Must have previous experience managing staffing for major events (attendance over 20,000).
• Ability to multitask and operate effectively in a dynamic working environment with frequent changes.
• Must possess a professional demeanor at all times with the ability to handle public and/or difficult situations in a calm manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both written and verbal. 
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Sheets, Doc, ect).
• Working knowledge of ABI scheduling program is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
• Must possess a current California Guard Card or can acquire card immediately upon employment.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

SALARY RANGE

POSITION SUMMARY

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and execution of landscape and turf management programs at BMO Stadium (one natural grass field) and the LAFC Performance Center (three natural grass fields). This role supports the overall quality, safety, and presentation of all playing surfaces and surrounding grounds in a high-usage, fast-paced professional sports environment, including post-event and concert recovery operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and committed to meeting established standards and operating within a team-driven system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the maintenance and care of stadium and training facility grounds, including landscape, ornamental, and xeriscape areas.
• Implement proper cutting procedures and perform routine mowing, pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges as needed, often under tight timelines.
• Conduct debris removal on fields, walkways, and surrounding areas during both event and non-event days.
• Support concert and large-scale event recovery efforts, including debris cleanup, turf repair, field aeration, and restoration of playing surfaces to match-ready condition within demanding turnaround schedules.
• Inspect equipment before and after use; ensure proper operation and maintenance of all turf equipment, including tractors, mowers, aerators, topdressers, and PTO-driven machinery.
• Prepare fields for events by marking boundaries and painting lines, team logos, and field identifiers on natural turf surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required (for operating utility vehicles and carts on-site).
• Ability to safely mix, apply, and distribute fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using manual and automated equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, including shovels, rakes, pruning saws, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and related equipment.
• Experience operating power equipment such as mowers, tractors, sod cutters, and other similar machinery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a structured team environment and contribute to a consistent standard of execution.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in English - both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to established processes and expectations; prior experience is valued but not required to be extensive.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods without assistance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Stage Manager will serve as a member of the Los Angeles Football Club Match-day Presentation department, supporting the coordination and execution of live game and event production. This role is responsible for assisting with all assigned elements of match presentation, entertainment, and in-stadium operations for BMO stadium as well as other occasional offsite events. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide production and operational support to the Match Producer and Match-day Presentation department for all LAFC home games, LAFC 2 matches, and other scheduled events. 
• Assist and participate in rehearsals, including sound checks (microphones and communication devices), camera blocking, and staging. 
• Assist with all production elements such as, but not limited to, in-match promotions, halftime activities, ceremonies, special effects, performances, and on-field experiences. 
• Prepare, manage, maintain, and collect equipment, props, and other materials used throughout games and events. Promptly report any issues, defects, or feedback to production management. 
• Serve as a liaison between the Producer and production team to coordinate and cue live talent, guests, participants, and honorees for in-game entertainment elements.  
• Represent the Match-day Presentation team and serve as a liaison to other departments, such as Matchday Operations, to coordinate timing and communicate details related to on-field activations. 
• Communicate promptly and proactively with match officials to relay substitutions, injuries, and stoppage time to television, public address, and the Match Producer. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, communicating any changes to scripted elements to the Producer.  
• Provide consistent updates regarding rundowns, scripts, and timing to relevant staff, talent, guests, and camera operators. 
• Coordinate with vendors, talent, players, executives, celebrities, and guests to execute both scripted and unscripted elements professionally, following direction from the Lead Producer. 
• Ensure all pre-game, in-game, and post-game presentation elements are executed accurately and on schedule. 
• Clearly communicate instructions for all interactive and experiential activities to participants. 
• Ensure all safety protocols and precautions are followed for participants, particularly for on-field activities, including the use of safety equipment and completion of required waivers. 
• Source and secure contestants as needed; escort talent, guests, participants, and staff as required. 
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• High School graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree or current College/Grad School student preferred. 
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in live sports entertainment, TV/Film production, live event management, or other relevant production/coordination experience preferred.  
• Knowledge of professional soccer; experience with matchday presentation/operations is a plus. 
• Must be proactive, organized, and resourceful with great attention to detail.  
• Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.  
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize efficiently and quickly. 
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate and interact with guests and stakeholders at all levels. Strong team-player; “above and beyond” work ethic and mentality.

• Must be able to commit to 80% or more LAFC home games. Matchday Presentation crew are not required to work all home games – games are scheduled on a rotating basis amongst the pool of employees.

• Responsible for ensuring the safety of all visitors at BMO Stadium.  
• Assist in updating daily pass-down sheets to ensure all information is relevant and current.  
• Observe, report and document incidents around the stadium grounds including, but not limited to, intoxication, vandalism, theft and various other disturbances.  
• Maintain high level of communication within the department regarding events and department details.  
• Assist in maintaining working condition of Safety Department equipment including, but not limited to, keys, walkthrough metal detectors, hand wands, divesting tables, and radios.  
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Event Manager is the main liaison between the organization and both internal and external clients of BMO Stadium. This position is responsible for organizing, confirming, coordinating, and providing support to each applicable department to ensure a safe and seamless execution of each event. This person will primarily be responsible for sporting matches at BMO Stadium, but will also provide support to a variety of different events, including, but not limited to concerts, private events, filmings, and corporate functions. Thus, the ideal candidate will have a passion for leading a variety of different events, making an impact across all levels, and is comfortable navigating a dynamic environment.

This position will report to the Director, Events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversee the execution of soccer matches, including Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), Angel City FC (ACFC), international competitions, and other sporting events at BMO Stadium.
• Provide operational support in executing various other events, such as concerts and private events, hosted at BMO Stadium.
• Facilitate, streamline, and organize communication amongst cross-functional teams involving various departments and objectives.
• Collaborate with all departments to develop operational plans that align with promoter and event needs while meeting all venue requirements.
• Act as a key liaison between LAFC front office staff, promoters, and stadium teams to coordinate production and event-day needs.
• Assist with tasks related to soccer matches, interfacing with the MLS League Office and other governing bodies to ensure compliance with all league policies, match protocols, and operational requirements
• Coordinate with local vendors and city entities (LAPD, LAFD, DOT, Building & Safety, etc) on permit requirements for all events.
• Create master production schedule inclusive of stadium conversion and event timelines.
• Conduct internal and external production meetings that clearly communicate all event requirements and drive the goals and objectives of each assigned event.
• Manage event expenses for settlements and maintain budgetary parameters.
• Develop concepts, budgets, and maintain event folders and files for each event.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/ University required.
• Previous experience managing part-time and/or full-time staff is a plus.
• Running knowledge of Major League Soccer, stadium related requirements, and other competition elements required.
• Experience reading contracts and executing terms listed within.
• Detail-oriented, driven self-motivator with a strong work ethic to get the job done.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Possess a positive and optimistic attitude to lead and inspire other departments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in English - both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

SALARY RANGE

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of all visitors at BMO Stadium and providing excellent customer service. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Respond to all security needs and calls. 
• Work with external Security and local law enforcement as necessary. 
• Provide customer service to all guests and employees while monitoring crowd flow during events and POS transactions. 
• Work closely with operations staff to effectively execute programming needs while maintaining safety measures. 
• Conduct regular inspection of facility via foot and rotate posts as assigned. 
• Interview victims and witnesses and write incident reports as necessary. 
• Follow and adhere to policies and procedures needed to maintain security within the facility, loading dock and perimeter.  
• Assure property is secure and that no damage occurs due to visitor negligence or vandalism. 
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Preferably 1 year experience in Security/Safety related role. 
• Previous experience in a sports/entertainment venue environment is a plus.
