At Carlisle Nissan, we have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a Sales Administrator on a 6 month fixed term contract. In this role, you'll support the day to day running of our operations department and provide an exceptional administrative experience.

You'll be reporting to the accomplished Dealership Accountant. This opportunity to learn from one of the best is not to be missed! Our Administrators support the day to day running of our department with a high level of accuracy. They are knowledgeable and capable of working at pace while providing a first class level of service.

Responsibilities

Maintaining all customer databases and answering all internal and external queries via telephone and online.
Support the ordering of vehicles for customers using the internal fleet management system.
Make sure that all orders comply with Lookers policies and procedures, and you'll give customers accurate quotations utilising our approved quotation system.
Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role. You'll be self-motivated, organised with a keen eye for detail. You will have excellent communication skills, can build relationships with customers and suppliers. In addition, you will work well both independently and as part of a larger team.

Having previous experience of working in the automotive industry and using administrative systems would be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be offered.

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We're recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the team at Carlisle Nissan Renault.

The Assistant Accountant is the backbone of any finance department. You will be required to use your knowledge and skills previously gained in an Accounts department to help and support the whole team whilst also effectively working alongside the Dealership Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial results are driven.

This opportunity is one which you can learn from the best in our Dealership Accountant who will allow you to develop your skills and establish a long successful career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Daily Bank Reconciliations, covering the cash and bank postings in period of absence within your team
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Processing payments
Daily banking
Weekly review and analysis of all vehicle and cash sale debt
Assisting the Dealership Accountant with month end related tasks

Qualifications / Experience

You will be a hardworking Assistant Accountant with previous knowledge of Kerridge/ADP or similar systems. Motor trade experience would be advantageous although not essential. We are also open to quick learners who are looking to start their career in accounts as we are always looking for fresh new talent.

Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic and a positive mental attitude is what is needed to succeed in this position.

We are looking for a highly organised and dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Administrator at Carlisle Nissan Renault. Our Sales Administrators support the day to day running of our operational department by providing high quality administrative support to our Sales Executives in our busy division. They are knowledgeable and capable of working at pace whilst providing a first-class service.

Responsibilities

Liaising with all relevant departments to add newly purchased vehicles to our stock records quickly and without error
Maintaining stock records ensuring they are accurate and up to date
Ensuring we have all the correct vehicle documents (V5, MOT history, Service history etc.) and that they are recorded and filed securely
Taxing all sold vehicles prior to customer delivery
Creating sales invoices promptly following a sale, ensuring that all the information matches the customer order form
Checking the vehicle sales documents and ensuring we have received payment before releasing the vehicle to the customer

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience using Kerridge/Pinewood is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be provided

This role requires you to have strong administration skills and prior demonstrable experience in a similar role. You must be an excellent communicator with a professional telephone manner, and have the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders. You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer experiences and to go the extra mile.

It’s essential that you are computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Additionally, previous experience using Kerridge/ADP would be highly advantageous. You will have strong organisational skills and pay close attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to work successfully as a team player as well as manage your own workload.

You will oversee the day to day running of the showroom including vehicle valuations and sales; supervising the vehicle journey from workshop prep right through to imaging and showroom presentation. Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone & showroom
Managing staff performance from structured 121’s to training & development
Implementing department targets and brand KPI's
Responsible for buying in vehicles. As well as up to date stock pricing
Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department
Manage and own our Customer Satisfaction

You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member.

Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly is a must. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations and have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
