De rol van Quality Assurance Document Control Specialist omvat verantwoordelijkheden ter onderscheiding van het documentbeheerproces binnen een celtherapie-productiefaciliteit voor zowel klinische als commerciële activiteiten in een steriele GMP-omgeving. Je zorgt ervoor dat het documentbeheersysteem, de documentopslag-, bewaring, de uitgifte en reconciliatie van documenten voldoen aan alle compliance vereisten.

Wat mag je verwachten?

• Je beheert de documentcontrolesystemen en -processen voor de site. 
• Je fungeert als Document Control reviewer voor nieuwe en herziene procedures en documenten om naleving van globale en lokale procedures te garanderen. 
• Je ondersteunt gebruikers van het Document Management Systeem bij workflows en gebruik van het elektronische systeem. 
• Je beheert het periodieke reviewproces voor procedures. 
• Je staat in voor de uitgifte van batchgerelateerde documentatie ter ondersteuning van GMP‑productie. 
• Je reconcilieert GMP‑documentatie volgens de vereisten van de document lifecycle. 
• Je maakt en geeft GMP‑logboeken uit. 
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor opslag en archivering van GMP‑documenten en batchrecords.

Opleiding 

• Je bent een bachelorstudent, hebt een secundair diploma of beschikt over gelijkwaardige ervaring.

The Quality Assurance Document Control Specialist role is a position with responsibilities for supporting the document management process within a cell therapy manufacturing facility to support both clinical and commercial requirements in a sterile GMP environment. This role will ensure compliance within the document management system, document storage and retention, and document issuance and reconciliation.

What can you expect?

• Responsible for managing the document control systems and processes for the site.
• Serve as a Document Control reviewer for new and revised procedures and documents to ensure compliance with global and site procedures.
• Support Document Management system users with workflow handling and electronic system usage.
• Manage the periodic review process for procedures.
• Issuance of batch related documentation in support of GMP manufacturing.
• Reconcile GMP documentation following document lifecycle requirements.
• Creation and issuance of GMP logbooks.

• Uitvoeren en toezien op CAR-T-procesactiviteiten: Je neemt deel aan en superviseert specifieke onderdelen van het CAR-T-productieproces, zoals componentvoorbereiding, CAR-T-verwerking, afvulling en afwerking, en cryopreservatie.

As a QC Supervisor you are responsible for a team of QC Analysts and QC Support Technicians, providing feedback, assistance with troubleshooting and deviations whilst ensuring a clear working schedule. You build up trust amongst the colleagues and other teams.

• Direct Lead: You are the direct lead for the team. (+- 20 people). You provide them with clear objectives, feedback, goals and assist them in achieving these.
• Connector: When needed, you ensure alignment within the team or other departments such as Operations or Maintenance & Engineering.

Do you have an eye for detail and want to become the go-to person for sample logistics and documentation? As we continue to expand our operations in Ghent, we are looking for a QC Sample Coordinator for our Techlane facility. 

What can you expect?

As a QC Sample Coordinator, you are responsible for sample management. You play a key role in ensuring that all samples are managed, documented, stored, and shipped correctly and compliantly. You are responsible for;  

Sample logistics & coordination 

• Preparing documents and coordinate internal and external sample shipments, including ad-hoc transports, together with the QC Support Technicians.
• Aligning inventories with ELIMS and logbooks.
• Performing period inspections and retain consolidations.
• Partnering closely with the Operations team, Logistic centre, etc.to ensure smooth sample coordination.

Documentation 

• Preparing and reviewing sample documentation.
• Initiating and support non-conformance sample investigations and manage CAPA records related to sample management.

Troubleshooting and process improvements 

• Being the point of contact in case of deviations (ex. Label issues) and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.

As a CAR-T production supervisor at Legend Biotech, you’ll lead a motivated team of operators in a cleanroom facility, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of quality from start to finish. As CAR-T production supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading & inspiring: manage operational teams and oversee key steps in the CAR-T production process.
• Ensuring quality: you manage all aspects of quality and ensure strict compliance with cGMP standards. As a domain expert for Quality and Operations, you play a central role in GMP inspections.

Who Are We Looking For? 

Education

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in science, bio-engineering, pharmacy or a related field of study or you are equivalent through experience.  

Experience

You have either:

• Experience in people leadership in a regulated environment,
• Or at least 3 years of experience in a GMP or ATMP environment (preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry), and a drive for the new challenge of leading a team.

Expertise

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and clean room operations is a plus.

As Quality Control Manager Techlane, you will balance ramp‑up activities with routine QC operations, while continuously improving efficiency, developing your team, and strengthening laboratory performance. You will combine scientific expertise with people leadership to ensure robust, compliant, and future-ready QC operations in a highly regulated cGMP environment. • After an extensive training in aseptic working and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), you will join our Operations Team. To clarify for you. Aseptic working refers to a set of practices and procedures applied to ensure sterility in the cleanrooms, where our advanced cell therapies are made. GMP guideliness on the other hand, ensure that our products are produced and controlled according to high quality standards.  

• You, along with your fellow operators and team leads, inspect and maintain the used equipment, clean and disinfect materials meticulously, and ensure a correct transfer between different production zones. You support the daily aseptic and manual production process of our therapy according to strictly defined actions and standard procedures. By doing so you contribute to the timely delivery of high quality and life-saving therapies to our patients.  

• Working in an aspetic environment entails you must also wear sterile clothing. Furthermore, we work in a shift regime, no nights but weekends.
