The role of a CAR-T Operations Junior Expert is exciting and challenging. Here's what you'll do: 

• Perform CAR-T process activities: You will accurately perform various steps in the CAR-T manufacturing process. From cell culture and purification to aseptic processing and cryopreservation, you will ensure the highest quality and safety standards in the clean room. 
• Compliance with quality standards: You will closely follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records to ensure the quality and safety of our cellular therapies. 
• Collaboration: You will work closely with various teams and departments to complete production tasks according to a shift schedule. 
• Innovate and improve: You will contribute to process optimizations and efficiency improvements. 
• Environmental monitoring: You will maintain GMP production areas, focusing on equipment cleanliness and environmental monitoring.
• GMP documentation: You will complete all necessary GMP documents to ensure compliance and traceability.

Who Are We Looking For? 

Education

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in sciences, (bio)engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy or another related field of study or you are equivalent through experience. 

Experience

• Practical experience within a cGMP or ATMP environment and with aseptic techniques in clean rooms is certainly an asset but not a must. In any case, we offer you the necessary training so that you can get started smoothly in your new role.    
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.

Als Ops Expert ben je een specialist in specifieke onderdelen van het CAR-T-productieproces. Dit is wat je zult doen:

• Uitvoeren en toezien op CAR-T-procesactiviteiten: Je neemt deel aan en superviseert specifieke onderdelen van het CAR-T-productieproces, zoals componentvoorbereiding, CAR-T-verwerking, afvulling en afwerking, en cryopreservatie.
• Naleving en documentatie: Je zorgt ervoor dat alle activiteiten voldoen aan cGMP- en GDP-normen. Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt GMP-documenten om naleving en traceerbaarheid te garanderen.
• Operationele ondersteuning: Je beheert de dagelijkse productieplanning en ondersteunt productievergaderingen. Je stelt operationele procedures op en beoordeelt deze, waaronder werkinstructies, master batch records en formulieren.
• Samenwerken en continu verbeteren: Je werkt samen met verschillende teams om processen te stroomlijnen en te optimaliseren. Je neemt ook deel aan Lean- & Operational Excellence-projecten.
• Training: Je traint en coacht junior collega’s.

Who Are We Looking For? 

Education

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in science, bio-engineering, pharmacy or a related field of study or you are equivalent through experience.  

Experience

You have either:

• Experience in people leadership in a regulated environment,
• Or at least 3 years of experience in a GMP or ATMP environment (preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry), and a drive for the new challenge of leading a team.

Expertise

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and clean room operations is a plus.

• Working in an aspetic environment entails you must also wear sterile clothing. Furthermore, we work in a shift regime, no nights but weekends.

What Can You Expect?

As a CAR-T Operations Expert, you will be a specialist in specific parts of the CAR-T production process. Here's what you'll do: 

• Perform and oversee CAR-T process activities: You will participate in and oversee specific parts of the CAR-T manufacturing process such as component preparation, CAR-T processing, filling and finishing, and cryopreservation.
• Compliance and documentation: You ensure that all activities comply with cGMP and GDP standards. You will develop and maintain GMP documents to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Operational support: You manage daily production planning and support production surveys. You will create and review operational procedures, including work instructions, master batch records and forms.
• Collaborate and continuously improve: You will work with various teams to streamline and optimize processes. You will also participate in Lean & Operational Excellence projects. 
• Training: You will train and coach junior colleagues. 
• Technology and Systems: You will support the testing and implementation of various software for production output systems such as eLiMS, MES and SAP. 

Who Are We Looking For?

Education:  

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in sciences, (bio)engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy or a related field of study or you are equivalent through experience. 

Experience: 

• You have at least 3 years of operational experience within a cGMP or ATMP environment and with aseptic techniques in clean rooms, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Previous experience in manufacturing, quality or engineering is required.  

Languages:  

• You are fluent in Dutch or English, with strong oral and written communication skills.  

Strengths: 

• You are a true team player with strong relational, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are detail-oriented and strive for excellence. You are also motivated and enthusiastic, but it is your "can-do" mentality that typifies you the most.   

Expertise: 

• You have a thorough knowledge of cGMP regulations and cell culture techniques.
• You can work fluently with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with cGMP systems such as PASx, eLIMs, Siemens and SAP are a nice plus.
