As part of the GTM Analytics team, you will be the data partner for Intercom's Mindshare function — the team responsible for building brand awareness, shaping market perception, and creating early engagement with target buyers. This role focuses on the top of the funnel: understanding how brand marketing, executive programs, experimentation, and upper funnel initiatives drive awareness, reach, and engagement before prospects ever enter a sales cycle. You will partner with Brand Marketing, Executive Programs, and GTM leadership to measure what's resonating, design experiments, and surface the insights that inform how Intercom shows up in the market.

The base salary range for candidates within the Greater Chicago Area is $168,100 - $200,810. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Intercom is seeking a Director, Sales Strategy & Planning to lead our global planning, incentive design, and compensation operations across all quota-carrying GTM roles. In this role, you will help us set the standard for what a great AI compensation strategy looks like because we pioneered outcome-based pricing and are consistently innovating to move the industry forward. You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of how we set targets, design incentives, and run compensation processes so that they drive the right behaviors, reinforce our Fin-first strategy, and support sustainable, high-quality growth.
You will take the current foundations across multiple areas – annual planning, quota setting methodology and modeling, incentive design, compensation policy, and productivity/capacity analytics – and evolve it for the next stage of Intercom’s AI-powered growth. This is a highly visible leadership position that partners closely with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, Pricing, Finance, and the wider RevOps team to ensure our compensation strategy reinforces our company objectives and drives excellent outcomes for our customers, customer facing teams, and the company as a whole.

We’re looking for an analytical and experienced Solutions Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations department, supporting our growing Professional Services (ProServ) and Solutions Engineering (SE) organizations. Our mission in RevOps is to empower Intercom’s go-to-market teams with the systems, insights, and strategies that drive predictable revenue growth and exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you’ll be a pivotal strategic and operational partner to ProServ and SE leadership - bringing clarity, structure, and data-driven insight to how these teams plan, deliver, and scale. The work you do will directly shape how we operate across the customer lifecycle, helping Intercom grow efficiently while delivering meaningful value to customers.
