Private Client Claim Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

- Collaborates effectively with service teams to develop and maintain Claim service standards for clients
- Maintains a proactive approach focusing on claim resolutions and strategies for assigned matters
- Advocates for the timely, optimal resolution of claim matters for our clients
- Communicates pertinent claim information timely to internal and external clients
- Maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Subject matter expertise in Personal lines of coverage (e.g. Personal Auto, Homeowners)
- Communicates effectively with other departments and peers to support initiatives across the enterprise
- Provides direction and oversight to Claim Advocates in the management and advocacy of claims on behalf of clients
- Responsibility for the management of associates including performance review, hiring and placement, resolving customer complaints, and salary and budget planning
- Encourages development opportunities for staff by setting performance goals that align with organizational goals and providing performance feedback
- Reviews and assigns matter advocacy and accounts to appropriate staff to ensure balanced workloads and optimal outcomes
- Leads and contributes to Claim Projects, and other tasks as assigned
- Demonstrates superior technical insurance and business acumen
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership characteristics
- Attends insurance related seminars including but not limited to continuing education classes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: include but are not limited to:
- 5-10 years of prior Personal Lines Claim experience
- 3+ years of prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent to a college degree
- Systems skills – Applied Epic, Carrier websites
- Experience with MS Office products (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Exceptional technical skill and knowledge of coverage and claims handling
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Required: strong mathematical and reasoning skills
- Ability to discuss and solve claim problems with clients and insurance carriers

Senior Client Manager (Employee Benefits)

Client service
- Maintains regular, professional contact to create and foster relationships with client representatives
- Researches and resolves issues and requests in a timely manner, including issues requiring direct interactions
- Answers questions related to benefits program
- Conducts reviews and works to provide guidance on compliance related matters
Client meetings
- Assists in and prepares materials and collateral for meetings and discussions
- Actively participates in discussions
- Records and reports meeting discussion and action items
- Carrier and vendor management
- Oversees new vendor/carrier implementations
- Reviews carrier, vendor, and plan documents and contracts
- Maintains regular contact with carrier and vendor representatives to ensure client advocacy and that issues are being resolved in a timely manner
Communication and education
- Works with clients to develop short and long-term employee communication objectives
- Creates member facing collateral pieces to promote and clarify benefit program features
- Leads in person, virtual, and telephonic sessions to provide information and plan details to participants
- Uses regular interactions to update clients on carrier and vendor partner features and services
Internal partnerships
- Actively participates and contributes to client service team operations
- Effectively communicates client updates to appropriate team members
- Assists with other team duties as needed – i.e., position vacancy, cover personal time off, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- Attains and maintains state life and health license in accordance with IMA standards
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent job experience
- 4 or more years of relevant experience
- Intermediate MS office skills (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to learn and work in agency/client management systems and other related software and technology platforms
- Ability to work independently
- Intermediate interpersonal communication skills – written and oral – with the ability to articulate ideas and information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to present information in a group setting (in person and virtually)
- Intermediate organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with variable deadlines
- Possesses high degree of diplomacy and tact while maintaining confidentially

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: to be completed with moderate to limited supervision and guidance include, but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA Select’s core values.

- Responsible for daily account servicing and client advisement needs including but not limited to: handling client and insurance company inquiries, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, maintaining accurate account information in agency management system, processing of endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards, etc.
- Cultivate and maintain excellent communication and relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Develop remarketing strategy in accordance with client servicing standards and market changes.
- Responsible for managing renewal process on assigned book of business including preparation of pre-renewal summary, creating renewal applications and submissions, online quoting via carrier rating platforms, reviewing quotes and negotiating terms and premiums, preparing final quotes and proposals for delivery to client, binding coverage, and issuing renewal invoices, certificates, auto ID cards, etc.
- Participate in conference calls and/or periodic in-person client meetings to review insurance strategies and business operations.
- Participate in cross-selling new lines of coverage or services on existing accounts.
- Responsible for following up on accounts receivable items in accordance with IMA Accounts Receivable Policy.
- Attend education classes in combination with individual study programs to expand technical coverage knowledge.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently regarding matters of significance
- Ability to manage more complex accounts
- Ability to analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations
- Knowledge of policy forms and endorsements
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Math skills required, involving familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products
- Minimum 2 years of similar or related experience
- Property and Casualty license will be required for state of business and must fulfill continuing education requirement to retain license

Account Executive, Private Equity and M&A

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Private Equity and M&A team! A focal point of the IMA Next growth strategy is the creation and development of industry vertical and product specialty practice areas. Within the Private Equity and M&A specialty practice, IMA will align the IMA resources needed to deliver superior services tailored to meet the specific needs of private equity investors and corporate clients contemplating a merger or acquisition. This role leads the due diligence process from initial engagement through deal close, working with various departments across the IMA enterprise to complete and deliver the diligence report.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support and demonstrates IMA’s core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
- Independently access and analyze due diligence data site content: review, download, and organize due diligence matters; and distribute relevant information to internal teams and industry specialists for comprehensive analysis.
- Participate in client presentations and fund stewardship reports with minimal oversight.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality client services according to set expectations.
- With minimal oversight, conduct an overall evaluation of target company’s existing and historical insurance programs to determine adequacy of coverage and identify potential post-close needs.
- With minimal oversight, collaborate with product line specialists to assess transaction-specific exposures, analyze coverage, conduct actuarial assessments of self-funded costs, identify potential uninsured risks.
- Estimate pricing for recommended, transaction-specific, and post-close coverages.
- Evaluate and project estimated annual cost of risk for target-company’s insurance program.
- Work with IMA client advantage partners to identify insurance-related considerations (e.g. Claims, Risk Control, Legal).
- Ensure a smooth and thorough handoff to the IMA service team post-transaction.
Required skills and experiences:
- 5-7 years of professional insurance experience preferred.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license (must be obtained within the first 3 months of hire).
- Basic understanding of the P&C insurance due diligence process.
- Foundational knowledge of the private equity sector and corporate acquisitions.
- Ability to assess the financial impact of P&C insurance in acquisition scenarios.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to meet the fact-paced demands of the private equity space.
- Some experience working with C-suite executives.
- Strong technical skills to support client service and deliverables.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

- Responsibility for design and implementation of International Programs and CMPs
- Under minimal guidance, prepares and markets global renewal submissions, including gathering information and markets and/or delivers submissions to underwriters
- Coordinates strategy meetings and participates in client account review meetings, marketing meetings, and/or client proposal presentations
- Responsibility for completing the Global Risk Insurance Manuals on specified accounts
- Provides input in the development and implementation of department policies and procedures, as well as operating and strategic plans within area of specialty
- Manages the Global Account Coordinator and/or the Account Manager to input client data in the WBNet3.0 system or other partner systems for select international reverse flow accounts
- Manages Global Account Manager and/or Account Coordinator regarding the account review information and the bind coverage information in conjunction with workflow standards
- Responds to and finalizes RFP requests
- Researches and understands international industry trends, product development, and government regulations globally
- Assists Director of Global Risk & Benefits in training, mentoring of IMA associates, and department projects and initiatives
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- 5 to 10 years of similar or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CIC and/or CPCU required
- Preferred: intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Moderate travel required (25-50%)
- Required: strong written and oral communication skills
- Required: strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills
