ICON is seeking a Senior Architect I with extensive MILCON (Military Construction) experience to join our Design Build team. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished group, you will lead the design, evaluation, and delivery of world-class high-performance buildings using ICON's technology set, with a focus on barracks, training facilities, and other critical military and government installations. As an ICONIC, you will be both a leader and a direct contributor in developing novel approaches to resilient, dignified, and sustainable military facilities. This role is based at ICON's Austin, TX campus and reports to the Senior Director of Building Design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and coordination of military facilities, barracks, and other government installation projects, ensuring compliance with DoD UFCs (Unified Facilities Criteria), UFC/IBC codes, and other MILCON standards.
• Coordinate closely with government stakeholders, base civil engineers, and contractors to achieve mission-driven project outcomes.

ICON is looking for a skilled, detail-obsessed Web Developer to own the technical health, performance, and continuous improvement of iconbuild.com. You'll sit within the Marketing & Customer Experience team, working at the intersection of design, content, and engineering to ensure our website is fast, functional, and always moving forward. This role is equal parts maintenance and momentum. Some days you'll be squashing bugs and fixing layout breaks. Others you'll be building new landing pages, integrating third-party tools, or collaborating with design to bring a new campaign experience to life. You'll be the go-to technical partner for the marketing team, the person who makes ideas buildable and keeps the site running at its best.

This role carries a dotted-line relationship to ICON's Engineering & Software Development team. During slower periods on the web front, you'll roll up your sleeves and contribute to backend support - bug fixes, internal tooling, and software maintenance, making you a true full-stack contributor across both the marketing and engineering orgs. If you care deeply about craft, move quickly without breaking things, and are equally comfortable translating a designer's vision into pixel-perfect code as you are digging into a backend issue with an engineering team, this role is for you.

This team is responsible for delivering the machine known as Titan to Serial Production. As an Electrical Engineer at ICON, you will be in a hands-on development and technical design role with responsibility for the creation and support of well-designed, maintainable electrical systems. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX office and will report to our Manager of Titan Electrical Engineer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on the electrical design and development of a robotic platform for construction, with a focus on motion control systems and dynamic fluid system integration
• Design and prototype electrical systems, specify instrumentation, and support R&D initiatives across a variety of experimental platforms
• Advance systems from prototype to commercialization, including panel design and fabrication in compliance with UL508A, NFPA 79, UL2011, NFPA 70 (NEC), and related standards

ICON is looking for a Print Logistics Specialist I to support logistics and planning our Print Operations team. This role is a full-time on site position based at our Austin, TX HQ campus with partial time spent in the field on ICON job sites. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for project planning with construction and project managers to identify support equipment, printer count and any special project needs.
• Create tracking processes and documentation so that the locations of all ICON equipment is known at all times.
• Continuously improve field processes by working with internal departments to iterate on and implement best practices.
• Ensure seamless coordination between teams, vendors, and internal departments to achieve operational efficiency.
• Participate in and contribute to daily standups for each project, providing required updates when necessary.

ICON is seeking a Senior Software/Data Engineer I to join our Data Intelligence & Systems Architecture (DISA) team. This engineer will play a foundational role in shaping, developing, and scaling ICON’s enterprise data platform within Palantir Foundry, owning the ingestion, modeling, and activation of data that powers reporting, decision-making, and intelligent automation across the company.

You will not just build pipelines. Instead, you will be architecting the Digital Twin of an industrial robotics and construction company. You will work closely with teams across Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering Support Services, Software, Field Operations and Technology R&D to centralize high-value data sources, model them into scalable assets, and enable business-critical use cases. Use cases will range from real-time reporting and analytics to AI/ML-driven operational workflows and decision-making. 

This is a highly cross-functional and technical role, ideal for someone with strong data engineering skills, deep business curiosity, and a bias toward action. This role is based at ICON’s headquarters in Austin, TX and reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Palantir Foundry (and supplemental tools) to integrate data from enterprise systems (NetSuite, Workday, etc.) and external sources. Ensure pipelines are efficient and fault-tolerant, handling large data volumes from manufacturing and field operations (e.g. IoT sensor feeds).
• Data Modeling & Ontology: Develop and refine data models that organize enterprise data into meaningful structures. Leverage Foundry’s ontology features to define business objects (e.g. Customers, Work Orders, Inventory Items) and ensure data is linked in a way that reflects real-world relationships. Continuously improve these models for new business requirements – for instance, adding new attributes or new object types as we launch new programs.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement data validation and quality checks in pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Monitor pipeline runs and set up alerts for anomalies or failures. Work with the team to enforce data governance policies (who owns which data, access controls, compliance needs) within Foundry and downstream systems.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and optimize data outputs for analysis. For example, if Finance needs a specific revenue recognition report, ensure the pipeline provides the needed granularity. Provide ad-hoc data expertise to troubleshooting data issues or generating one-time analyses.
• Performance Optimization: Profile and tune data pipelines for performance. Optimize query logic, pipeline configuration, and resource usage so that data refreshes and analytics can occur in a timely manner (especially as data volumes grow with company expansion). Manage scheduling and orchestration of jobs to meet SLAs for data availability (e.g. daily financial report refresh by 8 AM).
• Integration with Systems: Work closely with Systems Architects to coordinate how data flows tie into system integrations. For example, if a new API integration is bringing in a type of data, design the pipeline to ingest that data and join it with relevant datasets for analytics. Provide input on what data transformations could happen in-flight vs. in Foundry to maximize efficiency.
• Tooling & Innovation: Contribute to developing internal tools or scripts to improve our data engineering workflow. This could include scripts for automating data deployments, custom plugins in Foundry, or using open-source frameworks (where applicable) to complement Foundry’s capabilities. Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, handling large-scale datasets and complex pipelines. Strong foundation in data integration concepts and database design.
• Advanced Python skills for data processing (Pandas, etc.) and scripting, as well as solid SQL skills for querying and transforming data. Experience with PySpark or similar distributed data frameworks is a plus (Foundry uses Spark under the hood for big data).
• Experience building pipelines with enterprise data from systems like ERP, CRM, HRIS, or IoT sources. Familiar with different data formats (JSON, CSV, XML) and methods of extracting data (REST APIs, webhooks, database connectors).
• Hands-on experience with a modern data platform or pipeline orchestration tool. Experience with Palantir Foundry is a strong plus, but experience with alternatives (e.g. AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, etc.) is acceptable if coupled with ability to learn Foundry quickly.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles (relational schemas, star/snowflake schemas for analytics, normalization vs. denormalization tradeoffs). Ability to design schemas and data transformations that meet analytics requirements efficiently.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills: Able to investigate data discrepancies across systems, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize slow queries.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality – recognizes the downstream impact of data issues and proactively puts checks in place.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with end users (analysts, managers) to clarify requirements. Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders when necessary.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment where you dealt with IoT data, sensor streams, or other high-volume operational data. Understanding the nuances of such data (e.g. time-series data management) can be useful.
• Familiarity with cloud data architectures (AWS or Azure data services) as Foundry operates in cloud environments. Knowledge of storage services (S3, ADLS), data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift), and how they integrate with pipeline tools.
• Experience with business intelligence tools or practices – able to appreciate how data will be used in dashboards or analytics so you can better tailor data outputs (experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Foundry’s Contour/Quiver dashboards).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet regularly with Print Operations management and work directly on-slab in the field to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop improvement strategy.
• Collect, interpret and evaluate process metrics data to provide data driven insights for process improvement.
• Lead the development of process documentation, workflows, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality in field operations.
• Document Print Ops processes in a variety of software tools suites, including but not limited to Palantir, Procore, Miro, and the Microsoft software suite.

ICON is seeking a Print Operations Technician I to support our Print Operations team. In this role, you will demonstrate and maintain the foundational skills and knowledge required to provide basic support for ICON’s print operations. Basic support involves managing the logistics of raw materials, consumables, parts, and printers. You will also assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and general service tasks related to ICON's 3D printers. Under the direction of Leads, Technicians, or Managers, you will receive daily instructions and apply your skills to complete a variety of field assignments.

This role involves working on moderately challenging tasks that require some judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations, with an emphasis on escalating larger problems when needed. You are expected to approach each task with a growth mindset, focus on building new skills, and actively work to avoid repeating mistakes. Operational discipline, attention to detail, and adherence to ICON’s policies and standards are essential for success in this position. This role is based in Austin, TX, and will require travel outside of the area for extended durations. This position reports to the Print Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ICON is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sr. Regulatory Affairs Project Manager, MILCON to advance regulatory acceptance and business development across federal government and national security sectors, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and US national security agencies. Reporting to the Regulatory Program Manager, you'll execute public sector regulatory efforts, build critical relationships with government agencies, and expand the regulatory framework necessary to position ICON's 3D-printed construction technology as the government's construction technology of choice. You'll serve as the primary regulatory contact for government customers, federal agencies, ICON’s customers and support technology product development, directly contributing to establishing a self-supporting public sector business unit. This role is based in Austin, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute public sector regulatory efforts by aligning regulatory pathways with government building codes and standards. Accelerate adoption of concrete 3D-printed construction across federal and state agencies, DoD military construction (MILCON), and intelligence community customers. 
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with federal technical groups —including USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC, and other federal regulatory bodies—through presentations, and technical engagement.
• Support business development requests preparing technical proposals, delivering customer technical presentations, and technical demonstrations as needed..

The Senior Fabricator & Welder plays a critical role in maintaining quality control, optimizing workflow, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects while upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform complex welding and metal fabrication using aluminum, steel, and stainless steel (MIG and TIG)
• Set up welding equipment (amperage, voltage, wire speed, etc) maximizing efficiency and effectiveness per application
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T
• Prepare all materials prior to welding including cutting grinding and fixturing
• Creative input on fixture design concepts for ideal part fit-up, create and evaluate prototype fixtures
• Acts independently to determine optimal fabrication methods and procedures on new assignments
• Support the first article inspection and dimensional validation of fabricated parts
