About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will work directly with our team of research scientists, machine learning engineers, and designers to improve the services that allow us to deliver expression measurement, expression generation, and empathic foundation models in a number of groundbreaking applications. You will support cutting-edge research by contributing to the design, construction, and maintenance of a modern and efficient cloud AI infrastructure and the applications that run on it. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, make sound architectural decisions, and take ownership of systems from design through production.
Responsibilities

Write clear and concise code to extend functionality on our platform and backend services.
- Architect and implement systems that enable new features and improvements of our API.

Own the design and evolution of our cloud infrastructure, from deployment pipelines to production services.

Communicate, collaborate, and grow alongside our engineering team.
- Champion well-tested, highly observable software with a focus on reliability and latency.
Requirements

5+ years of experience in developing backend services.

Expertise working with compute and storage on a cloud platform (e.g. GCP, AWS).
- Experience in Kotlin/Spring, Typescript/Express, Python/FastAPI, or Rust.

Deep understanding of modern deployment strategies utilizing cloud technologies (e.g. blue/green, canary deployments, etc).

Familiarity with service deployment tooling (especially Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo, Docker).

History building and maintaining highly available SaaS products which ensure scalability, performance, and observability.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to strategize and execute around increasing product growth. Potential areas include new user activation, free user to paid user conversion, and discovery into new growth areas.
- Partner with Design and Engineering to align growth initiatives with product direction and user needs
- Conduct research, gather user feedback, analyze competitive insights to align product marketing with user use-cases and uncover pain-points/barriers to adoption
- Analyze, optimize, and A/B test marketing materials for creators and developers
- Run and analyze both organic and paid social media campaigns
Requirements
We’re looking for people who bring some combination of the following:
- Experience in growth, product management, or product marketing, especially in AI, SaaS, voice technology, or developer platforms
- Basic-level understanding of HTML/CSS and SQL
- Able to take data-driven insights and customer needs to effectively message to customers, aligning high-impact growth initiatives with product roadmap
- Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution ability
- Clear and compelling communication skills
- Excitement to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

As a Front-End Engineer, you will work closely with our team of research scientists, machine learning engineers, and designers to build our developer platform and commercial applications, making our powerful AI solutions accessible to users with varying degrees of technical sophistication through cutting edge no-code tools.
Responsibilities
- Contribute new features to our frontend tools while maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Work autonomously to maintain and identify areas of improvement for existing code and tests.
- Identify areas for improvement within existing codebase that reduces code complexity and improves overall performance of web applications.
- Build internal tools to help facilitate prototyping, maintenance, and quality of codebase.
- Collaborate closely with our design, product, backend, and research teams.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in developing frontend web applications.
- Proficiency with a modern frontend stack (TypeScript, React, Next, Tailwind, etc).
- Expertise in modern frontend best practices, including accessibility, semantic markup, Core Web Vitals, and optimization.
- Proficiency with tools like debuggers, profilers, and flamegraphs to identify areas of improvement for performance
- Proficiency with tools for automated testing and CI/CD (such as Jest, Playwright, Axe, Wave, GitHub Actions, Dev Containers).
