Hover helps people design, improve, and protect the properties they love. With proprietary AI built on over a decade of real property data, Hover answers age-old questions like “What will it look like?” and “What will it cost?” Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals rely on Hover to get fully measured, accurate, and interactive 3D models of any property — all from a smartphone scan in minutes.
At Hover, we’re driven by curiosity, purpose, and a shared commitment to serving our customers, communities, and each other. We believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives and are proud to cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture that inspires growth, accountability, and excellence. Backed by leading investors like Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and trusted by industry leaders including Travelers, State Farm, and Nationwide — we’re redefining how people understand and interact with their spaces.
Hover's Customer Experience team is at an inflection point. We've built an exceptional foundation — industry-leading response times, strong CSAT, and a BPO (outsourced) model that handles significant volume. But the next two years require a step change: usage and case volumes are growing quickly, and our vision is that AI will grow to handle 50%+ of total volume. This requires extensive work across systems, knowledge infrastructure, etc.
Your role will be to build and run our ‘agent team’ alongside our human specialist teams, growing its coverage of our cases to that 50%+ goal and thus preserving our human team’s time and attention to focus on the kinds of cases and situations where their deep expertise and attention is needed. If you've done 0-to-1 work before, have strong opinions about what good AI QA looks like, and care deeply about how knowledge infrastructure feeds intelligent systems — this is your role.
Our Inbound CX team handles thousands of support conversations per week across phone, chat, and email, serving both self-serve (Product Led Growth) and enterprise (Sales Led Growth) customers. The team includes US-based Senior Specialists who handle our most complex and relationship-critical cases and offshore BPO teams that handle the majority of inbound volume.
You will work in close partnership with GTM Systems Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Revenue Enablement, and other cross functional teams to get the assistance you need building out the knobs and levers that help you run this ‘agent team’ day to day and hit our core operational KPIs.
This is a rare 0–1 opportunity to define how Hover scales customer experience through AI. You’ll own the full automation roadmap and build systems that directly impact how thousands of customers get help every week.
Some of your core responsibilities include:

Hover is looking for an Implementation Manager to guide our largest, most complex customers through a seamless launch. In this role, you’ll serve as the driving force behind cross-functional execution—partnering closely with Product, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and key customer stakeholders to ensure every implementation is delivered on time, with high adoption and measurable impact.
You’ll take ownership of enterprise-level programs that shape how customers experience and derive value from Hover’s platform. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you’ll connect strategy with execution, transforming operational complexity into seamless outcomes for our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to define and scale the implementation discipline, building frameworks, driving process excellence, and setting new standards for customer success. This role exists because Hover is scaling insurance account rollouts, and the current model places too much implementation ownership on Customer Success by default. We’re looking for someone who can bring structure, urgency, accountability to high-stakes rollouts while building the playbook for how this function scales over time.

The Estimates Platform team owns the foundational systems that determine what Hover can scope, classify, and price for any structure. If a product needs to know what work a structure requires or what it costs, it starts here.
At its core, this is a recommendation system. You'll ingest disparate data sources (3D model outputs, product catalogs from distribution partners, pricing feeds, and customer inputs), synthesize them into a structured language the rest of Hover can consume, and serve actionable estimates to internal teams, contractors, and insurance partners.
The system is deterministic today, and the core stays that way. AI is how we accelerate the platform's expansion: ingesting new partner catalogs, classifying unfamiliar trades, and learning from every estimate that flows through. As Engineering Manager, you'll lead that evolution, extending the rules-based foundation with AI-driven capabilities that open the platform to new trades and new partners.

You are a strong software engineer who enjoys building infrastructure systems through code. You’re drawn to solving complex problems, especially in environments working with 3D data, computer vision, and machine learning. You like building internal tools that make other engineers more effective, and you believe simple solutions to hard problems are the best ones. You’re comfortable operating in a space that evolves quickly.
The Infrastructure team builds the platform that sits beneath Hover’s application layer. The rest of engineering is our customer. Through software and automation, we make the fastest path also the most reliable and secure. We design and build systems that power our Kubernetes platform, cloud infrastructure, and deployment workflows, partnering across engineering to solve challenges around geospatial and ML workloads. This is not a traditional DevOps or SRE role. We treat infrastructure as a software engineering problem, building systems and tooling that eliminate manual work and help engineers move faster.
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Infrastructure team, you will help us build boring solutions to interesting problems while improving the platform engineers rely on. You’ll work closely with teams across Hover to make applications easier to build, deploy, and operate. You’ll collaborate with backend, frontend, ML, CV, data, and security engineers to bring ideas to production at scale.
In this role, you’ll design and build platform capabilities that standardize how services run, improve deployment workflows, and simplify infrastructure usage. This includes developing tooling, automating infrastructure, and improving reliability, observability, and cost efficiency. Your work focuses on building systems, not manually operating them, and will directly improve developer experience across the company.

We care deeply about delivering an exceptional customer experience. While our product is built to be intuitive and self-service-friendly, we are equally committed to engaging directly with our users to ensure they thrive. Our Customer Experience team is a real differentiator in our space, and we hear constantly from our users how grateful they are for the personalized and earnest help we provide. Our team brings empathy and attention to detail to every customer interaction, and this position requires strong critical thinking, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills. You will become a subject matter expert in both our Product and our Customers, and your mission is to engage them directly to help them have the best experience possible.
While we have had the Inbound motion successfully active for many years, this Outbound motion is a newer, high-impact team that we are actively growing. In our Outbound motion, you will often find yourself proactively reaching out to customers at key moments in their journey – from onboarding through retention. We want our customers to get the maximum value out of the Hover platform, and you drive that in a variety of ways, ranging from product demos to research conversations to onboarding planning as they learn and plan how to infuse Hover into their company workflow. The Inbound team works alongside you in a more classic Customer Support motion for when customers reach out and create tickets for specific issues, and your Outbound team is more proactively deployed to engage customers in moments where they may not have even realized they need something until we reach out.
You are responsible for driving cross-functional projects internally and synthesizing the voice of the customer for your colleagues. Regular duties include sharing product feedback and recommendations internally, driving research efforts to call down lists of customers and ask them about X to learn Y to inform future company plans, joining internal working groups and workshops to share your perspective on how the project will impact our small business and self-serve customer segments in particular, etc. In all of these responsibilities, you are expected to exercise independent judgment — diagnosing customer needs, designing outreach strategies, and recommending internal changes without relying on prescribed playbooks or scripts.
This team is extremely dynamic and things change every month as we learn and adapt. Your core competencies and core objectives stay the same, but our tactics, projects, motions, and focus areas are constantly evolving. One month you may find yourself trying to synthesize how a new product feature resonates with customers by leading product demonstration sessions tailored to each customer's business context, and another month you may find yourself doing cold outbound calls and emails to customers identified as high churn risk to check in and try to learn why they aren’t thriving, what Hover needs to do differently to help businesses like theirs succeed, and suggesting changes to our tactics in response to your learnings.
Your skillset goes beyond simply being a good people-person on the phone, and you will be designing and implementing your own workflows and tactics regularly. You won’t always be handed a cookie cutter playbook or script, but rather you will need to figure it out on your own, iterate based on results, and share learnings back with the team. You will be responsible for using AI to streamline and automate your workflows, pull data, and generally find ways to be 10x effective at your work.

Hover is looking for a full-stack engineer who takes ownership, moves with initiative, and cares deeply about building reliable, high-quality systems that power real-world impact.
Our Mobile team is a close-knit group of engineers across Rails, iOS, React Native, and Android who are deeply invested in craft, reliability, and customer experience. We own and evolve the mobile platform that sits at the core of Hover’s business — the systems that turn real-world property data into precise 3D models and measurements relied on by contractors and insurers every day. We collaborate closely across engineering, product, and design to continuously improve core customer journeys while scaling our platform with confidence.
In this role, you’ll work across the stack — designing scalable backend APIs, improving data flows, and refining intuitive frontend experiences — helping us build products that are performant, resilient, and thoughtfully crafted. If you’re energized by solving complex problems across systems and want your work to have visible, measurable impact, this is a place where you’ll do some of your best work.
You’ll design and build scalable backend services and APIs that power our mobile platform, while continuously improving reliability, performance, and observability across the stack.
The insurance claims process is one of the most complex, high-stakes workflows in the real world — and it's still largely broken. Adjusters are making damage assessments from photos taken on a smartphone. Carriers are paying for estimates built on guesswork. And homeowners are waiting weeks or months for outcomes that should take hours.
Hover is changing that. Our 3D scan and AI platform is already embedded in the claims workflows of nine out of the ten top insurance carriers, and we're just getting started. We're hiring a Principal PM to help own and define our next chapter in claims — across the workflows that matter most to carriers, adjusters, and the homeowners they serve.
This role spans the full range: some of it is 0-to-1, defining new product territory; some of it is block-and-tackle, making existing enterprise workflows faster and better. Both matter. You'll be shaping what the product becomes, not inheriting a finished roadmap. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to co-build solutions, partner with engineering and CV/ML leadership to define what's technically possible, and help Hover become the standard for AI-powered claims.
Drive claims product strategy. You'll be a key contributor to where we go next — shaping the roadmap, identifying the biggest opportunities, and making sure we're solving the right problems in the right order. You won't be handed a plan; you'll help build it.
Co-build with enterprise customers. Our enterprise relationships are a competitive advantage, and you'll know how to make the most of them. You'll spend meaningful time in the field — with adjusters, carriers, and inspection teams — turning their workflows into product insight and your product into their workflow.
Ship and iterate fast — across the full range of work. Some weeks you'll be in early discovery mode, figuring out what to build next. Others you'll be heads-down shipping the enterprise features that make carriers' workflows actually run. You'll know how to thrive in both modes.
Define AI and capture experiences that feel like magic. You'll work closely with our ML and computer vision teams to turn hard technology into intuitive, delightful tools — for field adjusters on mobile and desk adjusters on web.
Help build the end-to-end claims platform. The goal isn't a great feature — it's a seamless workflow that carriers can run their entire claims process on, from first notice to final settlement. That means working closely with your fellow PMs to make sure the pieces fit together, hand-offs feel invisible, and Hover becomes the platform carriers can't imagine working without.
