• Apply APQP while owning elements e.g. CP as well act as moderator

• Issue, maintain and releas ERP based inspection plans incl. allocated attributes

• Review and analytics on manufacturing data to identify recurrent issues and drive efficient root cause corrective action and improvement initiatives

• Control and oversight of quality authorization and certification data

• Qperational shop floor surveillance for process compliance and improvement

• Consult and support production teams on any Quality topic, and contribute to internal and external audits

• Ensure compliance to internal QMS, EN9100 and others applicable standards

• Carry a Technical or Quality related education / study with min. 5 years of quality management experience in a similar role within electronics, machinery or plant engineering, automotive, or aerospace

• Deliver applied experience on SAP Insepction planning, Q-Methods and tools like APQP, SQCDP, 8D/9S, Lean, can be proven by certificate, and a good understanding of special processes is of advantage.

• Execution of product related conformity controls and Quality Inspections based on applicable specifications

• Ensure creation and validation of conformity certification documentation for build as designed compliance and act as Quality disposition competency within our Non-Conform Item process

• Deliver applied and proven experience on conformity control measures and evaluation/validation, inspection methods (GVI / DVI) or via the use of test / measurement equipment, and a good understanding of special processes is of advantage

• Maintain the capability to read, understand, and apply technical documents ( Engineering drawings / Inspection procedures / industry Norms ) and experience in maintaining IT Software applications like MS Office, QA SW if applicable. SAP experience and capability to prepare a CoC is essential.

• Can work independently as well in a team and subordinate him/herself with the ability to assert oneself and respect other positions

• Have good communication skills in English, German of advantage

• Lead the stand-up and scaling of US manufacturing operations, establishing production lines, workflows, quality systems, and facility infrastructure 

• Develop and execute the production strategy aligned with program milestones, government contract deliverables, and company growth objectives 

• Implement production processes for AI-enabled hardware systems, ensuring repeatability, quality, and compliance with defense manufacturing standards 

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing production team — including manufacturing engineers, technicians, quality inspectors, and production planners — capable of supporting rapid growth 

• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, Contracts, and Finance to ensure production alignment on government contracts 

• Establish and manage quality management systems (QMS) compliant with AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable DoD manufacturing requirements 

• Own production KPIs and reporting, including yield, throughput, cost-per-unit, on-time delivery, and defect rates, and present board-level updates that drive executive decision-making 

• Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to design cost-efficient sourcing strategies that satisfy federal and/or state procurement requirements, including managing tariff exposure on imported goods and materials  

• Ensure full compliance with SSA governance requirements, maintaining appropriate separation protocols while optimizing production operations across the organization  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase production capacity 

• Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, tooling vendors, and facility partners to supplement and scale internal production capabilities 

• Support CAPEX planning and facility buildout in partnership with Finance, ensuring sound investment frameworks for equipment, tooling, and infrastructure  

• Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance across all production environments, including OSHA, environmental, and cleared facility requirements 

You should apply if you

• You have 10+ years of progressive manufacturing/production experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing production operations 

• You've operated within the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, or National Security technology sector and understand the nuances of government contract deliverables, ITAR/EAR, and defense manufacturing requirements 

• You've built or scaled production functions at a startup or high-growth company and know how to balance scrappiness with rigor  

• You have experience standing up manufacturing lines from greenfield or near-greenfield conditions, including facility layout, equipment selection, and workforce planning 

• You possess a strong command of production planning, capacity modeling, and resource allocation strategies 

• You have demonstrated experience with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent) and continuous improvement methodologies 

• You communicate complex operational concepts with clarity and influence to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike  

• You're energized by ambiguity, thrive under pressure, and are motivated by mission-driven work 
• Ability to be granted and maintain a SECRET clearance, including US Citizenship.

• Direct experience working under a Special Security Agreement (SSA) or Proxy Agreement structure with a foreign-owned parent company 

• Background working with cleared facilities, FOCI mitigation, and DSS/DCSA interactions 

• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS manufacturing and quality clauses, DCMA oversight, and first article testing (FAT) requirements

Die Rolle

Der Schichtleiter in der Produktion unterstützt den Produktionsleiter bei der Führung eines Teams von Produktionsmitarbeitenden, um einen reibungslosen Produktionsablauf zu gewährleisten. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehören die Motivation des Teams, die Einhaltung hoher Qualitätsstandards und die Erreichung der Produktionsziele. Der Schichtleiter arbeitet mit den Mitarbeitern bei ihren täglichen Montageaufgaben zusammen und stellt sicher, dass die Prozesse den Qualitätsstandards eingehalten werden.

Darüber hinaus ermittelt er den Schulungsbedarf innerhalb des Teams und koordiniert diese Maßnahmen mit dem Produktionsleiter. Die ständige Kommunikation mit Abteilungen wie Logistik und Qualitätsmanagement ist für die Einhaltung der Produktionsprozesse von entscheidender Bedeutung. Darüber hinaus erstellt diese Position regelmäßig Berichte über Leistungsindikatoren und Qualitätsstandards aus der Schicht und meldet diese an die Produktionsleitung. Die Einhaltung aller Sicherheits- und Umweltvorschriften im Montagebereich ist ein wichtiger Aspekt dieser Position.

• Unterstützung bei den täglichen Montageaktivitäten und laufenden Betriebsabläufen.

• Leitung und Motivation eines Teams von Montagearbeitern, um einen reibungslosen Produktionsablauf zu gewährleisten.

• Überwachung und Unterstützung der täglichen Montageaktivitäten mit Fokus auf Effizienz und Qualität.

• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards im Montagebereich.

• Ermittlung des Schulungsbedarfs innerhalb des Teams und Organisation geeigneter Schulungen.

• Aufrechterhaltung einer aktiven Kommunikation mit anderen Abteilungen wie Logistik und Qualitätsmanagement zur Optimierung der Produktionsprozesse.

• Erstellung regelmäßiger Berichte über wichtige Leistungsindikatoren und Qualitätsstandards für das Management.

Du solltest dich bewerben, wenn du folgendes mitbringst

• Eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung und/ oder Weiterbildung, und zusätzlich Erfahrung im Produktions- und Montageumfeld.

Die Rolle 

Als Produktionsmitarbeiter (m/w/d) übernimmst du eine zentrale Funktion in der Fertigung unserer hochmodernen Verteidigungssysteme. Du bist verantwortlich für die präzise Montage komplexer Baugruppen für Flugkörper und Drohnen. Deine Arbeit gewährleistet, dass unsere Hardware höchsten Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsstandards entspricht und im Einsatz zuverlässig funktioniert. Du arbeitest als Teil eines engagierten Teams an der physischen Umsetzung unserer Mission und trägst durch deine handwerkliche Sorgfalt direkt zur technologischen Leistungsfähigkeit unserer Produkte bei. 

Dein Alltag 

• Du führst komplexe Montagearbeiten an Flugkörpern und Drohnen durch und stellst sicher, dass alle Komponenten exakt nach Vorgabe verbaut werden. 

• Du arbeitest routiniert nach technischen Zeichnungen, Arbeitsplänen und Stücklisten, um Fehler in der Fertigung proaktiv zu vermeiden. 

• Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für die Einhaltung unserer strengen Qualitätsprozesse und führst begleitende Qualitätskontrollen durch. 

• Du rotierst nach entsprechender Einarbeitung flexibel zwischen verschiedenen Aufgabenbereichen und Arbeitsstationen, um einen reibungslosen Produktionsfluss zu gewährleisten. 

• Du dokumentierst deine Arbeitsschritte sorgfältig, um die lückenlose Nachverfolgbarkeit unserer Produktion sicherzustellen. 

Du solltest dich bewerben, wenn du folgendes mitbringst 

• Du verfügst über eine abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung (z.B. als Industriemechaniker, Mechatroniker) oder mehrjährige Erfahrung in der industriellen Montage.
