Summary: This position is responsible for providing technical leadership, expertise and guidance related to the design, development, and implementation of Appian-based Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP) software solutions that enable our business objectives.

The Solutions Architect, Senior will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices, acting as a technical advisor, to provide leadership and guidance in the planning and coordination of design, development and implementation of our mission-critical systems.

1. Provide architecture leadership and Appian expertise while collaboratively working with stakeholders in all areas of the business and IT, aligning Appian solutions to support company objectives.
2. Continually facilitate and assist with efforts to define Appian-centric enterprise solutions.
3. Acts as the design authority for Appian-based solutions, guiding solution architecture and design decisions across business-critical applications.
4. Ensure effective governance of defined industry, company, and Appian-specific standards and patterns.
5. Demonstrate and build prototypes, create reference architectures, and design effective solutions that leverage the Appian platform.
6. Continually stay abreast on LCAP trends and lead the research and development efforts accordingly through proof-of-concept implementations, workshops, etc.
7. Provide guidance, coaching, architectural assessments, and Appian mentorship for various IT teams and initiatives.
8. Create prototypes and design innovative and effective Appian-based solutions that align with organization’s objectives and maintain competitive market advantage.
9. Collaborate with peers and various IT groups in continuously creating, assessing and updating LCAP standards, guidelines and best practices.
10. Champion product design, solution design and industry best practices in building and delivering best in class software.
11. Effectively communicate using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills. 

Qualifications/Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree preferably in a computer science/engineering related field plus 8-10 years of related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Experienced in leading and implementing the design and delivery of complex Appian-based solutions, including case management, integrations, and data-centric applications.

Experience in Healthcare and Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation industry is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver Appian-centric solution architecture based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding.

Must have experience in identifying and implementing sound design patterns and capable of leading and facilitating design and modeling workshops with both business and technical team members.

Required background with strong hands-on expertise incorporating Appian while building and deploying distributed applications.

Must have excellent knowledge and experience with database and infrastructure design and best practices.

Demonstrated a set of skills that include but not limited to:

Summary: Responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance support of endpoint hardware, software, applications and access in a mixed Windows and macOS environment.

Customer Service 

• Respond to escalated requests for assistance within established SLAs. 

• Participate in after-hours, on-call support rotation as necessary. 

 Project Management 

• Create project plans within identified PM toolset. Identifies all resources, objectives, subtasks and timelines.  

• Own and manage new hire onboarding, laptop refresh, application upgrade, and similar initiatives in the end-user support space. 

 Documentation 

• Create and maintain technical documentation including standard operating procedures, user guides, knowledge base articles, diagrams and system configurations. 

• Research escalated issues, identify, implement, and document resolutions. 

• Perform knowledge transfer to MSP partner organizations.

 Endpoint Engineering

• Manage the approved application catalog, including evaluating, packaging, testing, and deploying end user applications via standard channels.

• Evaluate completed work requests to assess resolution, identify recurring problems, and ensure resolution is documented and shared with L1 and L2 support teams. 

• Review ongoing processes for user onboarding, laptop provisioning, etc., for opportunities to improve automation, resilience, and repeatability.  After identifying opportunities, lead and drive efforts to implement and test code and process changes. 

• Continuously evaluate existing endpoint environments compared to upcoming technology changes.  Identify and implement changes as necessary to remain current with best practices and current tools. 

 Professional Development

• Identify key gaps in technical and procedural knowledge and create action plans for continued professional development. 

 Qualifications/Education/Certifications: 

Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus minimum of 4 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Intune and/or Jamf endpoint administration certifications preferred.

Summary Responsible for Operating and Pharmacy Accounts Payable processing.

Key Responsibilities “To simplify complexities for each customer.”

1. Checks and maintains AP inbox emails to process operating invoices through Concur. Also responds to any requests from vendors.
2. Checks and maintains Pharmacy inbox emails to maintain accurate pharmacy information. Also, responds to any request from pharmacies.
3. Processes weekly AP batches for the check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments are made to vendors or pharmacies in accordance with company policies and procedures. Protects the business against unintentional overpayment.
4. Reviews source details either from operating invoices, employee expense reports, Wells Fargo corporate credit cards or pharmacy
5. Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
6. Continually assists with Vendor Maintenance to ensure payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. Includes assistance as needed with 835/EOB maintenance as well as Pharmacy Hierarchy upkeep.
7. Assists in providing support for audit requests or other ad hoc requests.
8. Checks incoming mail received at the corporate office (Tampa, FL) and distributes the mail to the appropriate departments. Complies with agreed upon document retention procedures to ensure proper access and safe keeping of financial records is maintained.

Qualifications/Education/Certifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to three years related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

One to three years of prior experience with AP Processing preferred.  Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software preferred.  Knowledge of Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central and Concur preferred. Attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, analytical skills, vendor relationship, PC proficiency, data entry skills and general math skills are required.

Success in this position is measured by how effectively the incumbent scales Appian capability across teams, not by how much work they personally complete.

• 5+ years Appian development (end-to-end delivery in Appian Designer)  

• Designing/building Appian SAIL interfaces (complex forms, grids, UX patterns, validation, responsive layouts)  

• BPM / workflow (Process Models, subprocess patterns, process variables, timers, escalations, SLAs, exception handling)  

• Data: Record Types, data modeling, Record views/related actions, data sync patterns, query optimization  

• Integrations: Integration Objects, Connected Systems, Web APIs (REST/SOAP), authentication patterns (OAuth2/JWT/basic), error handling/retries  

• Strong understanding of SQL (selects, inserts/updates, joins, stored procedures/functions) and relational data modeling  

• Security design: groups/roles, object security, record-level security, least-privilege patterns, environment separation  

• Performance & scalability: query tuning, paging, async patterns, expression optimization, interface performance troubleshooting  

• Deployment & SDLC: packaging, environment promotion, versioning strategies, release management, automated testing approach
