We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our Sydney Institutional Business Development team as an Associate Vice President. The incumbent should have expertise in selling into global and regional financial institutions, including in-depth knowledge of the ANZ market. It is, therefore, vital that you are a passionate individual who wants to make a difference.

What You'll Do:  

• Help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets as part of the regional and global sales team and proactively seek new opportunities.
• Strategic sales & account management planning from concept to execution across the institutional sector in Australia.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients in Australia across the spectrum of institutional and investment firm clients. 
• Communication of market developments to marketing and client service team. 
• Proven expertise to plan and deliver results in a highly demanding environment

What You Have:    

• University degree from a recognised institution
• 4 to 6 years of new business development experience, ideally with a focus on B2B selling within the research/ information service, financial/investment or other similar sectors.
• Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients with demonstrated ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeed.
• Clearly demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams.
• Ability to work with executives across Asia and globally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Overview:

Our Sydney office is seeking an Intern to join our Client Service team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment to work on projects within multiple industry sectors.

If you are a goal-oriented and organized individual who enjoys learning new things, then this opportunity might be the one for you!

This is a 3-month paid internship (with possible extensions) starting ASAP. 

What you'll do:

• Work on task and projects assigned by the Project Managers
• Data entry and updating the CRM database
• Coordinate with vetted experts to organize phone consultations with the clients
• Assist in recruiting top industry subject matter experts into the Guidepoint network by screening their suitability for specific projects
• Perform ad-hoc industry research to identify topical trends or alternative outreach platforms, when necessary
• Operate with a teamwork mentality that leads to building and maintaining strong relationships with other Guidepoint colleagues

What you have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sydney
• Ability to work at least 3 days a week (must be able to commit to a weekly fixed schedule i.e. Mon to Wed or Wed to Fri)
• Must be fluent in English
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
• Proactive, positive, creative and resourceful self-starter
• Strong sense of responsibility and high level of integrity
