Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Senior Content Operations team member, a role for someone who shares our passion and obsession with quality. You will be a core member of our Product and Engineering team dedicated to helping our clients replace time-consuming, manual processes to achieve informed, real-time decisions about government markets, competitors, and agency relationships. The ideal candidate is a hands-on analyst with large dataset experience. You must also possess strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across internal teams and with Govini platform Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

You will support the Content Analyst Manager in overseeing two offshore teams across split shifts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fast-turn validation and QA. This role involves assisting with day-to-day team management, workload prioritization, and performance support while maintaining high-confidence accuracy across every data point. You will own feedback loops and process improvements—leveraging technical skills to reduce rework, improve scalability, and strengthen overall execution—while reporting progress, risks, and outcomes directly to the Content Analyst Manager.

This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Pittsburgh, PA.

This role may require up to 10% travel

Scope of Responsibilities

The Senior Team member you will manage and provide leadership for two offshore teams, overseeing daily workflow, assignments, prioritization, throughput, and SLA delivery. This includes consistent coaching (calibrations, feedback, 1:1s/lead check-ins) to maintain morale and accountability across different cultures and hours, as well as escalating risks, resourcing gaps, and performance concerns to the Content Analyst Manager.

The role also involves overseeing manual QA and validation, especially for high-volume checks with quick turnaround. Key responsibilities include triaging requests, prioritizing workloads, meeting SLAs, establishing feedback loops to reduce errors and improve accuracy, and documenting issues and resolutions to enhance future execution. Daily/weekly status updates on volume, trends, and blockers are required.

Further responsibilities encompass maintaining and improving SOPs, QA guidelines, and validation standards; tracking key performance metrics and risks; leading calibration and review routines; and supporting performance coaching and skill development.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in content operations, data operations, research operations, data QA/validation, or similar roles supporting structured data workflows
1–3+ years experience leading analysts or data QA teams (including offshore and/or shift-based coverage preferred)
Proven ability to manage high-volume validation work with tight SLAs, competing priorities, and frequent context switching
SQL and Python experience
Experience working with structured datasets, logs, and validation outputs to identify root causes and reduce rework
Familiarity with data QA concepts (sampling methods, error categorization, trend tracking, and continuous improvement loops).
Demonstrated success in coaching teams, improving performance, and maintaining high-quality standards
Strong judgment and attention to detail when validating complex relationships and resolving ambiguous cases
Excellent written communication — able to document decisions with clear reasoning and auditable source support
Ability to prioritize, triage, and execute quickly while maintaining consistent quality
Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams
Comfortable operating in a “supporting leader” capacity and reporting outcomes, blockers, and risks upward

Job Description

We are seeking a market-oriented Security Accreditation Program Manager to drive Govini’s accreditation and ATO processes. Govini has already received its IL5 Provisional Authorization and FedRAMP High Authorization, so this role will drive the efforts to achieve service-level ATOs across our customer base. This is an individual contributor role that sits within the Product Organization and will require you to manage both external government and internal stakeholders as you identify and build relationships with the appropriate government PoCs, pathfind the easiest way forward, manage workstreams and timelines, and navigate roadblocks to achieve ATOs on the shortest timeline possible.

In order to do this job well, you will need to possess exceptional organization skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and have a relentless focus on achieving our desired outcomes. You must be able to drive cross-functional collaboration by proactively engaging stakeholders, ensuring alignment, offering guidance, and fostering a barrier-removing environment. You take proactive action to identify, scope, track, and communicate deliverables and workstream statuses to relevant teams and leadership, and actively participate and contribute meaningfully in meetings relevant to accreditation programs. You will own the external relationships with the government PoCs and work closely with Sales to assure alignment. You will also work closely with Product and Engineering to understand the implications that roadmap priorities have on the ATO process and vice versa.

This role is a full-time position located in our Arlington, VA office.

Scope of Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute strategic pathways for acquiring and maintaining critical DoD and Federal Civilian authorizations (e.g., FedRAMP, DISA ATO, DoD RMF) in collaboration with Product, Compliance, Security, and Engineering teams, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, sales cycles, and contract deliverables.
Identify and manage relationships with external stakeholders in coordination with Sales.
Act as the key facilitator and primary point of contact across internal teams (sales, product, engineering, security, marketing), government agencies, and third-party assessors (3PAOs) throughout the authorization lifecycle.

Scope of Responsibilities

Actively participate in designing, building and testing scalable data architecture
Craft clean, testable, and maintainable code
Participate in the end to end software development of new feature functionality and design capabilities
Optimize processes for maximum speed and accuracy
Regularly seek out innovation and continuous improvement, finding efficiency in all assigned tasks
Work in an agile team in a scrum process, collaborating closely with fellow software engineers, DBEs, and QA engineers

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Required Skills:

6+ years of software development experience with a high-level software stack
Advanced SQL development
Familiarity with PostgreSQL administration
Strong proficiency with backend API languages such as Java/Spring Boot (preferred) or equivalent

Scope of Responsibilities

Define and lead Govini's data lifecycle strategy across data acquisition, data ingestion, data cleansing, normalization and linkage.
Ensure key entities within datasets are identified, resolved and linked to existing entities within the current master data repository.
Apply various techniques to produce solutions to large-scale optimization problems, including data pre-processing, indexing, blocking, field and record comparison and classification.
Improve data sharing, increase data repurposing and improve cost efficiency associated with data management efforts.
Build best practices that help with chain of custody of data so it can be easily traced back to the source for accuracy and consistency.
Work across functional teams to understand advanced statistical, machine learning, and text processing models and incorporate them into Govini’s existing data engineering infrastructure.
Perform exploratory data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data and identify patterns.
Work directly with users as well as SMEs to establish, create and populate optimal data architectures and structures, as well as articulate techniques and results using non-technical language.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field

3-5 years experience with programmatically transforming data
Experience with RDBMS
Advanced SQL programming skills
Proficient usage of common data formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON
