Our team is a collective of sports and media partnership architects, creating impactful strategies for GMR’s client roster while supporting agency growth through proactive engagement with prospective clients. We operate across the full partnership lifecycle, from portfolio strategy and brand positioning to partner selection, negotiation, activation, and measurement.
As Account Director, you will lead sports and media partnership consulting and account management for a diverse portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Vice President, you’ll act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on leader—translating client objectives into effective partnership strategies, shaping long-term roadmaps, and delivering clear, compelling recommendations to senior stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll serve as the day-to-day lead on accounts, driving strategy and execution across sports partnerships. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, manage client and partner relationships, and deliver performance insights to optimize results. You’ll also contribute to business development by supporting research and helping craft strategic responses to new opportunities.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The annual range for this role varies between $90,000- $110,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Reporting to the Vice President, the Account Supervisor will provide sports and media partnership consulting and account management across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role goes beyond day-to-day account management, it’s about shaping how brands show up through partnerships, developing objective-led frameworks, asset strategies, activation plans, and measurement approaches that drive real impact. You’ll also play a key role in business development, helping bring new opportunities to life through compelling pitches and strategic storytelling.
In this role, you will lead the partnership asset strategy, planning, and management of a premier automotive brand’s naming rights partnership in Nashville — highlighted by the highly anticipated debut of a new, world-class stadium, which will be one of the most prominent sports and entertainment platforms in the country.
We’re looking for someone who blends strategic thinking with creative energy, someone who is naturally curious, thrives on uncovering what matters most to a brand, and isn’t afraid to challenge conventional approaches. You’re a confident storyteller who can influence senior stakeholders, a proactive problem-solver who can navigate multiple priorities, and a team player who brings fresh ideas and a passion for what’s next in partnerships.
Candidates based in Nashville or New York are preferred, though remote candidates will also be considered.

Reporting to the Account Supervisor as an Account Executive you will support strategic partnership initiatives while helping manage and grow a portfolio of local sports teams and entertainment properties. In this role, you will play a key role in developing partnership strategies, analyzing performance, and ensuring successful execution across a wide range of sponsorships spanning major league teams, and properties. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to maximize the impact of sponsorship investments and deliver meaningful fan engagement.
To thrive in this role, you are proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. You bring a strong analytical mindset, a passion for sports business, and the ability to turn insights into compelling stories and strategic recommendations. You value relationship building and are confident working cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
