We're looking for a Sr DevSecOps Engineer with strong network security expertise to help build, secure, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You'll build infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and defensive security measures to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (GCP)
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Implement network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation
- Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents
- Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Conduct security audits and implement remediation measures
- Implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
- Collaborate with development teams on secure architecture decisions
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, CDNs)
- Experience with security tools (WAFs, CNAPP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR)
- Extensive knowledge of secure best practices for Cloud based Infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go)
- You speak and write in Infrastructure as code, with an enthusiasm for automation, and a passion for scalable and reproducible security practices
- You possess broad security knowledge to connect the dots across domains and identify holistic ways to decrease the overall threat surface
- Have a strong grasp of offensive security to anticipate risks from an adversary's perspective, not just check compliance boxes
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO27001, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS)
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty)
- Knowledge of secrets management and identity/access management
- Excellent communication skills
- Bring experience with modern application stacks, infrastructure, and security tools to implement pragmatic defenses
- Experience with vulnerability management and threat hunting
Bonus Points
- Experience with Typescript and SQL
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty)
- Experience with zero-trust architecture
- Background in penetration testing or vulnerability assessment
For this position we are targeting a base pay between $185,000-$243,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days onsite at our downtown San Francisco office and flexibility to work remotely from home the rest of the week.

We are looking for an Engineer to join our Android team, with experience developing exceptional and innovative Android applications.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a complex and high-performing native Android application
- Solve difficult technical problems with a cutting edge Android stack
- Participate in code reviews and conversations on software development best practices
- Communicate progress and risks to the team
- Build a product that our customers genuinely love!
What You Need
- 1-2 years of experience developing, architecting, optimizing and shipping high performance Android applications written in Kotlin
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem- solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication & collaboration skills
- Passionate about solutions while humble in the face of opposing ideas
- Desire to embrace the way engineering is changing (more immutable data, functional patterns, etc.) while also being intensely pragmatic
- Experience with large Android codebases and complex, high-performance apps is a plus
- Experience with Jetpack compose is highly desirable
For this position we are targeting a base pay between $120,000 - $175,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We are looking for a developer with experience building and supporting complex consumer-facing web services and applications who will help us build and scale the future of Notability. Right now we are preparing to release a feature that allows users to collaborate together on their notes in real time. Another big feature we are working on is Learn, which is our AI-generated study experience that allows users to summarize and interactively quiz themselves on their notes.
What You'll Do
- Iterate with the team on product definition and implementation with a focus on the end user's experience, scalability, and security
- Specify, build, and maintain services, APIs, and features for the product
- Create and support robust integration, testing, deployment, alerting, and monitoring systems
- Perform code reviews and participate in design discussions
- Mentor junior developers
- You will also be on-call for the backend services we are building.
What You Need
- 7+ years of experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem solving skills
- A user-centric mindset
- Expert proficiency with SQL, Typescript, and Node
- Experience with GraphQL and/or REST
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud service, such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with pub/sub systems and streaming platforms
- Experience with large-scale, reliable, and low-latency distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong desire to grow and learn new things
Bonus Points
- Experience developing features that utilize LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude
- Experience with CRDTs
For this position we are targeting a base pay between $160,000-$240,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We are looking for candidates with development experience ready to help build and launch Notability for Android, a new app aimed at replicating one of the top productivity apps in the App Store for iPad in the Google play ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Build new features for the Notability Android app
- Work with product and design to squash bugs before the open Beta
- Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to make Notability even better
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student studying towards an undergraduate degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 3.2 GPA
- Experience in Kotlin programming
- Interest in developing for the Android framework
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object oriented design
- Desire to build and release production-ready code
- Eagerness to learn new things
- Focus on user experience and fulfilling customer needs
Bonus Points
- Experience using Notability or other note-taking apps
- Created your own Android app or past Android development experience
- Experience working with any Intellij IDE
