As Construction Manager on Giga's Project Development team, you will be at the center of building the physical infrastructure that powers the AI revolution. You'll lead and oversee all on-site labor operations for data center construction projects — from groundbreaking through  commissioning— ensuring work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Where You'll Work

This is an on-site position that requires long term travel and/ or short term relocation. This person should be comfortable with 3-6 month periods of being at a location before moving to the next.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site labor, subcontractors, and construction activities for data center build projects from mobilization through turnover.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager or Superintendent on large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Direct experience managing subcontractors and field labor crews across multiple trades (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) 
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, civil, structural, MEP, and architectural specifications.
• Experience with construction scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations (OSHA 30 minimum).
• Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent scopes of work and multiple subcontractor relationships on a single site.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.

What You'll Do

As Procurement Manager, you own the full procurement lifecycle across Giga's Project portfolio. You'll work directly with project owners to understand what needs to be sourced at every stage, identify and qualify vendors, negotiate competitive terms, and ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.   • Performing full rack fills, drains, and air purges to remove trapped air.
  • Handling 60-liter reservoirs and managing separate "new" vs. "used" fluid to prevent contamination.
• Experience with PG25 specifically, which is often dyed fluorescent yellow-green for rapid visual leak detection. Technicians must monitor pressure drops and flow rates, as PG25’s viscosity can sometimes mask small leaks.
• Awareness of "wetted materials" like copper cold plates, brass, and polymer piping (PP or PVDF) to prevent corrosion or biofouling.
• Ability to service Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and rack manifolds, including the use of Quick Disconnect (QD) or LQC connectors for spill-free maintenance.

Responsibilities

•   Own the design, specification, and engineering of power generation systems — including gas turbines, diesel generators, and hybrid configurations — from concept through commissioning.
•   Serve as the technical authority for generation assets on site: monitor performance, investigate anomalies, and drive corrective action before issues become outages.
•   Develop and own electrical design packages: single-line diagrams, load flow studies, short-circuit analyses, and protection coordination.
•   Build and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs; track reliability metrics (availability, MTBF, MTTR) and use data to drive continuous improvement.
•   Lead commissioning activities including SAT, FAT, and integrated system testing for new generation assets.
•   Develop and implement SCADA and control system strategies for real-time generation monitoring and management.
•   Manage vendor and contractor relationships through procurement, installation, and ongoing O&M; hold them accountable to Giga's standards.
