About this opportunity:

To support Freenome’s rapid growth, we’re looking for a proven and collaborative Senior Manager, Accounting to join our team! This is a highly visible role that will support key financial reporting and compliance functions, including SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q filings and earnings releases), the SOX compliance, and revenue recognition activities. The ideal candidate is known as a solutions-oriented cross-functional partner and will have a significant impact on the continued growth of an organization dedicated to changing the entire landscape of cancer.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, SEC Reporting and SOX Compliance and will closely collaborate with the accounting team. This role will be a Hybrid role based out of our Brisbane, California headquarters.

What you’ll do:

• Play a key role in accounting and SEC reporting functions, ensuring compliance and accurate presentation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial statements as well as S-1, 10-Q, 10-K, and any other SEC required filings including footnote preparation.
• Analyze peer company filings and industry reports to assess trends in financial disclosures.
• Support the preparation of the quarterly earnings release and related documents.
• Support revenue recognition and reporting including DSO analysis:
  • Revenue by product
  • Revenue by payors
  • Profit by product
  • Profit by Payors
• Collaborate with the accounting team in the development of processes and procedures that support the implementation of SOX 404 and ensure reporting requirements related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act are met.
• Assist in the evaluation and continual improvement of accounting procedures, processes, and systems to ensure standardized close processes and efficient operations.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Support and execute on ad-hoc requests as assigned as necessary.

Must haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant accounting experience in a fast-paced, high- growth biotech, diagnostic, medical device environment.
• Public accounting experience a plus.
• Must have Xifin RCM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong accounting background with a good knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while maintaining a command of the details.
• Ability to draft financial statements presentation and footnote disclosures as part of filings with the SEC (10-Q and 10-K).
• Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

The FP&A Manager will support planning for key business processes and requires strong financial reporting, forecasting, planning and modeling skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills and business judgment. What you’ll do:

Strategic Business Partnering:

• Serve as the dedicated financial advisor to department heads (R&D, Commercial, Operations), translating complex financial data into a narrative that drives decision-making.

Proactive Budget Management:

• Drive corporate planning processes through rigorous oversight of departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with Freenome’s strategic priorities.

Actionable Analysis and Reporting:

• Deliver effective monthly and quarterly reporting that drives accountability, scaled by leveraging technology.
• Establish, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to a commercial-stage diagnostic company, such as test volume, ASP, and COGS per test.
• Ensure resources are aligned with strategic and operating priorities and clear financial controls are maintained.
• Identify key business issues that impact short-term and long-range market forecasts; clearly and proactively surface these issues.
• Influence key decisions by delivering high value financial analysis that highlight root causes of variance, trends, and identify actionable opportunities to invest, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Systems Innovation and AI Integration:

• Build and refine the forecasting tools, short-term and long-term forecasts models.
• Support the implementation, buildout and continuous improvement of key financial systems, such as ERP, planning and budgeting systems and business Intelligence tools.
• Apply AI and machine learning tools to automate routine reporting and enhance predictive accuracy in our forecasting models.

Must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience with at least 6 in FP&A and/or business partnering in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech, diagnostic, medical device environment.

About this opportunity:

The Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management will build, lead and oversee all aspects of revenue cycle operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic optimization of patient intake, financial counseling, billing, collections, reimbursement, and financial workflows. This executive will design and implement scalable, AI-enabled automated revenue cycle infrastructure in partnership with Sales, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to maximize revenue capture, minimize denials, and enhance patient financial experience. This is a remote role with up to 25% travel.

What you’ll do:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement Freenome’s  enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy.

• Billing & Collections: Establish and oversee all processes related to coding, claims submission, reimbursement, and accounts receivable management.
