About the role
As a Staff Software Engineer (SDK), you will own platform live ops features and apply your creativity throughout the entire development lifecycle - from initial design to live game support. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality game client features and reusable components, helping to accelerate development across Fortis Games. In this role, you will also provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to other engineers.
What you’ll achieve
- Engage in full-lifecycle development: scoping, design, implementation, documentation, and deployment of our game application.
- Lead technical design and design principles for client features and shared components

As a Sr. Software Engineer on the QA Automation Tools team, you will drive initiatives that enable our QA and development teams to move faster and ship with greater confidence. Embedded with the development team, you'll architect scalable automation solutions for a live multiplayer game where dynamic content — character customizations, ability interactions, and procedurally generated scenarios — creates a testing surface that requires adaptive, not static, strategies.
Agentic development is a core part of how this role operates, not an aspiration. You'll integrate AI-assisted workflows from day one, using coding agents to accelerate test creation, debugging, and code review while maintaining the engineering judgment to steer, verify, and override. You'll work directly with developers to influence how systems are built for testability, and communicate your decisions clearly enough that other engineers can carry the work forward.
What you’ll achieve
- Design adaptive test automation for dynamic game content — character customization, map scenarios, and procedurally generated content (PGC) — using approaches that stay valid as content evolves without requiring manual test plan rewrites
- Propose game engineering changes that improve testability: test hooks in generation tools, game data structures that support combinatorial testing, metadata that enables bot automation
- Integrate AI-assisted workflows into automation delivery end-to-end, from test scaffolding and debugging to code review and pipeline integration
- Integrate quality efforts throughout the development lifecycle, including automation frameworks, build pipelines, and performance metrics
- Set technical standards for the team's automation code, shape cross-project QA strategy, and share reusable patterns that let other engineers maintain quality as the team scales
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Proficiency in Python or C#, with demonstrated experience designing and building QA automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Strong preference for Unity and Unity tooling, with hands-on experience testing game systems and client-side behavior; experience with other game engines also considered

About the Role
We’re looking for someone to help shape how recruiting works at Fortis. As we grow across teams and regions, this role focuses on strengthening the systems behind hiring. The workflows, tools, and infrastructure that determine how consistently and effectively we bring people in. You’ll work across systems, process design, and execution, identifying where things break, improving how they work, and helping the team operate with more clarity and less friction. You’ll also bring structure to ambiguous problems, turning them into clear, practical ways of working. This is a player-coach role. You’ll lead and build while staying close enough to the work to understand what’s actually happening day to day.
What You'll Achieve
- Hiring becomes more consistent and predictable, with less reliance on individual effort
- Our systems (Greenhouse, Gem, Workday) are better connected and easier to work within, with fewer manual gaps and workarounds

What you’ll need to be successful
- Experience designing and improving recruiting processes in a way that changes how teams actually operate
- Hands-on experience with core recruiting systems such as Greenhouse and Gem, and familiarity with HRIS tools like Workday
- Confidence evaluating, implementing, and improving systems and tooling
- Experience working across People Ops, HRIS, or IT to improve integrations and data flow
- A builder mindset. Comfortable starting from scratch, testing ideas, and iterating
- Strong judgment on where process adds value and where it creates friction
- Awareness of compliance considerations in recruiting systems, including data privacy (e.g. GDPR) and responsible handling of candidate data

About the role
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Gaming, Platform, and Publishing Analytics function. This role will partner with Staff-level ICs to evolve the vision for the team. They will own the roadmap and execution of analytics efforts across Game Studios, Platform teams, and Publishing serving as the key driver of data-informed decision-making and operational excellence.

- Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering leaders to define and implement scalable analytics frameworks and technical foundations to support holistic measurement, ROAS optimization, and data-driven decision-making at all levels.
- Oversee the design and delivery of key gaming and publishing dashboards and reports, providing senior stakeholders with timely insights to guide strategy and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with the larger Data org to ensure robust data infrastructure and governance, including tracking plans, pipelines, and source integration (e.g., MMPs, ad platforms, app stores).
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously identifying opportunities to improve analytical methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Champion best practices in experimentation, measurement, and performance analytics—ensuring a culture of continuous testing and learning.
What you'll need to be successful
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, including 3+ years focused on mobile games. Proven track record of using data analysis to influence game feature development
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and operational excellence skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing complex dependencies, and overseeing multiple workstreams.
- Proven track record of building and scaling analytics functions that directly impact business growth and performance.
- Familiar with data modeling, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Looker), with the ability to guide technical teams, but without needing daily hands-on expertise.

About the role
In this integral role as a Senior Product Manager, you will help guide a new free-to-play mobile game from late development through global live operations. Working at the intersection of product strategy, game design, analytics, and LiveOps, you will play a key role in shaping gameplay systems, in-game economy, monetization, and live features.
This role requires a balance of strategic product thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, player experience, and data-driven iteration. What you’ll achieve
- Support the game during testing and early live phases, with an initial focus on gameplay quality and early retention.
- Drive monetization testing as the game expands into additional geographies, including Tier 1 markets.

- Live Ops Experience: Experience managing events and economies in mid-core titles (ideally Collection RPGs/4X) with a focus on moving specific KPIs
- Design Partnership: Ability to collaborate with game designers to translate vision into functional product requirements and success criteria before development begins
- Data-to-Action: Hands-on proficiency in data analysis to independently identify user behaviour patterns and turn them into validated game improvements. (SQL and Python experience are a plus, but not essential)
- Impact-Driven Prioritisation: Experience navigating and prioritising a backlog and making hard decisions on what will move the needle most.
- Team communication & leadership: Effective communicator who can work across disciplines and adapt messaging to different parts of the team and central stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with design, analytics, and production to ensure the game launches successfully and continues to evolve as a live service.
What you’ll achieve
- Support the game during testing and early live phases, with an initial focus on gameplay quality and early retention.
- Drive monetization testing as the game expands into additional geographies, including Tier 1 markets.
- Own and evolve LiveOps strategy post-launch, reacting to live results and optimizing performance in real time.
- Partner with design to shape and refine the in-game economy, including progression systems, gacha, rewards, and daily engagement loops.
- Ensure economic systems are balanced, scalable, and aligned with long-term player value.
- Translate player behavior and qualitative feedback into quantitative models and tuning decisions.
- Define hypotheses and design A/B tests across gameplay features, monetization, and LiveOps initiatives.
- Work closely with analytics to interpret test results and player data, turning insights into clear product actions.
- Use data visualization and analysis tools to monitor performance and guide prioritization.
- Apply player-centric and design-thinking approaches to new features, events, and optimizations.
- Anticipate the downstream impact of design and product decisions on player behavior, economy, and revenue.
- Set clear priorities to maximize retention, engagement, and LTV.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, analytics, production, and leadership to drive aligned decision-making.
- Clearly communicate product intent, results, and next steps to stakeholders.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Live Ops Experience: Experience managing events and economies in mid-core titles (ideally Collection RPGs/4X) with a focus on moving specific KPIs
- Design Partnership: Ability to collaborate with game designers to translate vision into functional product requirements and success criteria before development begins
- Data-to-Action: Hands-on proficiency in data analysis to independently identify user behaviour patterns and turn them into validated game improvements. (SQL and Python experience are a plus, but not essential)
- Impact-Driven Prioritisation: Experience navigating and prioritising a backlog and making hard decisions on what will move the needle most.
- Team communication & leadership: Effective communicator who can work across disciplines and adapt messaging to different parts of the team and central stakeholders.

About the role
As a Staff Backend Engineer at Fortis, you’ll help us build an amazing Original IP through all the development stages, from concept to launch. You will work closely with highly talented game designers, artists, and other engineers to design, implement, and launch a large-scale multiplayer experience and leave your mark on a game that will last for years.
What you’ll achieve
- Develop game features from prototype through to live operations, ensuring quality and stability throughout the full lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and support scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Profile and analyze backend systems to identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues.
- Perform backend load testing to ensure the game infrastructure can handle scale and peak player activity.
- Collaborate with client-side engineers to create secure, server-authoritative gameplay systems.
- Build and maintain DevOps workflows in a cloud-based environment, primarily using AWS services.
- Create clear, well-structured technical documentation to communicate design decisions and architecture to the broader team.
- Contribute to studio-wide engineering standards by following and shaping development guidelines and code quality practices.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Extensive software engineering experience in the games industry or with large-scale, real-time, low-latency systems, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing backend services for real-time, multiplayer Unity games or streaming solutions using C# and .NET strongly preferred.
- Solid background in building multi-service backends using AWS cloud infrastructure and tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment, incorporating feedback to refine game features.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working on cross-discipline teams alongside designers, artists, and other engineers.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, thriving in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings where initiative is key.
- Firm grasp of game mechanics, systems design, and how technical choices impact player experience.
- Fluent in English with clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
