About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer for Cloud Data Warehouse database connector team and supporting other databases teams to drive improved performance, reliability, and analytical power for our platform to delight our customers in how they use their data.
This team is tasked with evolving a high performance extract-load-transform data integration system that enables our connector teams to ship the Fivetran ELT product using powerful abstractions. The role will challenge you to solve problems in the domains of performance engineering, data security, and cluster orchestration. You don’t need to be a subject matter expert before you join us (you will become one within this role!), but you will need to have experience working carefully with a high impact software team — especially in environments where the best option may not be obvious, your decisions have cascading implications, and where you sometimes need to measure three times before you cut once.
A successful candidate will be humble enough to collect diverse input and build consensus, will be experienced and confident enough to be decisive when it’s needed, and will be practical enough to build and iterate on the system while it’s in production. We are also looking for a high level of expertise and productivity with modern software development environments (we use Java).

This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do
- Be a horizontally-scaling engineer (we grow together as a team)
- Design and implement features and performance improvements in the Fivetran core to create highly scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud
- Care and feel ownership of our product platform, and leverage your skills towards improving it
- Advocate for core values, business impact, better engineering, and simple and direct solutions
- Lead engineering-wide initiatives for a number of key technologies
- Collaborate across engineering on cross-functional projects creating innovative solutions
- Work across the project lifecycle: requirements, design, prototype, implementation, review, release, monitoring
- Review and approve technical design documents and pull requests
- Improve and enhance engineering systems documentation and development processes
- Coach and mentor other software engineers
- Contribute to hiring by participating in the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
- Typically, 5+ years of software development experience in fast paced environments
- Demonstrated passion to learn how large-scale software engineering projects work
- Lead and mentor junior team members
- Has developed an ability to write, test, and deploy well-structured and performant code
- Experience developing data-processing systems, preferably for an external-facing product
- Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Proficient level programming in an object oriented / systems language such as Java, Python, C# etc.
- Experienced with end-to-end systems profiling, performance, and optimization
- Experience troubleshooting problems with existing code and systems
- Experienced working in a cloud environment architecture utilizing AWS, GCP, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies
Bonus Skills
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB databases

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior GRC Analyst to join our Security team. This role is ideal for a control-focused audit professional with a solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate and influence across functions and levels of the organization. The position reports to the Director of GRC and will provide broad cross-functional exposure, working closely with teams across Security, Engineering, Operations, IT, and HR.

What You’ll Do

- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve control processes and related documentation
- Support third-party vendor assessments, evaluating vendors against established security and privacy standards and requirements

- Working knowledge of industry compliance frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and environments, including one or more of GCP, AWS, and Azure, with an understanding of cloud-specific security and control considerations
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex control environments and draw well-supported conclusions
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions, taking initiative and contributing constructively to shared team objectives
- Effective at managing multiple concurrent workstreams, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance requirements and the associated authorization process and control framework
- Professional certifications in audit or information security, such as CISA, CISSP, AWS, or SANS GIAC designations, are strongly preferred
- Prior experience working at or directly with a Big 4 public accounting firm, with exposure to large-scale audit and advisory engagements

This role will be responsible for end-to-end AP processes including invoice processing, cash disbursements, vendor management, travel & expense, and help desk support, while ensuring strong internal controls and a high level of service delivery.During onboarding, the role may align with U.S. business hours before transitioning to standard IST hours.

Datalakes - Exposure to datalake technologies and concepts such as object storage, file-based table formats, metadata management, and large-scale data processing workflows.
- Familiarity with concepts related to catalogs, schema evolution, partitioning, and data consistency is a plus.
- Understanding of common datalake reliability challenges such as duplicate processing, late-arriving data, schema drift, and incremental data handling is desirable.
- Experience or exposure to building or supporting integrations with datalake and catalog ecosystems is a strong plus.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer, Financial Systems to support and evolve our NetSuite accounting systems that power Fivetran’s core financial operations. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that our ERP environment supports scalable, accurate, and efficient financial processes across Record to Report and key aspects of Order to Cash.
You will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Engineering teams to maintain and improve NetSuite configurations, financial reporting, and close processes. What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards to support financial operations and reporting needs.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by ensuring accurate system configuration and reliable financial data.
- Maintain strong system controls, audit readiness, and documentation of system configurations and financial processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite-related issues through the Financial Systems Jira support queue.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and the internal Systems Engineering team on enhancements and system improvements.
- Ensure accurate data flows between NetSuite and connected systems such as Coupa and other finance tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and improve operational efficiency within NetSuite.
- Contribute to the long-term roadmap for financial systems and accounting automation.
Skills We’re Looking For
- 6-8+ years of experience working with NetSuite or enterprise financial systems in an ERP or financial systems role.
- Strong expertise configuring and supporting NetSuite financial modules including GL, AR, and revenue recognition.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes including Record to Report and financial close workflows.
- Experience building reports, saved searches, dashboards, and workflows within NetSuite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
