Your Role:

As the Assistant Controller, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to help run the accounting department and implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules. This position requires working onsite 100% at our HQ in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation
• Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies
• Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability
• Develop monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc accounting reports for the management and executive teams
• Lead strategy planning/process improvement and general accounting operations optimization
• Oversee and drive SOX section 404 implementation efforts for general accounting

• A point of contact to the Company’s external auditors for the quarterly review and the annual financial statement audit

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 10+ years' experience in general accounting in a publicly traded company (MUST)
• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills
• Manufacturing or OEM experience is a must have
• Extensive general accounting experience and knowledge
• Exceptional leadership abilities
• SAP HANA working experience is preferred
• CPA Certification is highly desired.

Your Role:

As the Accounting Manager, you will have a direct significant impact in support of our growth as we start and ramp up production and sales. You will outline our cost accounting policies and will be accountable for measuring and reporting manufacturing costs and ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management. You will also support the accounting department and implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the process, accounting and posting of all cost and inventory related transactions such as standard cost setting and periodic standard cost roll, labor and overhead absorption, and freight and duties tracking.
• Support month-end closing GL activities.
• Design, implement and manage an excess and obsolete inventory reserve process.
• Prepare monthly close and flux analysis on balance sheet accounts related to inventory. Investigate and resolve significant material, labor and overhead cost variances.
• Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regard to cost and performance. Design and implement KPIs for management reporting.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to drive operational improvements to reduce material, labor and overhead costs and reduce on-hand inventory levels,
• Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory valuation.
• Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation.
• Assist with cycle count/physical inventories.
• Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls.
• Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability
• Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others.
• Work on special projects as required.

 Desired Skills & Experience:

• Manufacturing experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics discipline required.
• MBA is preferred

• 5+ years of cost and inventory accounting experience in SAP HANA.

Your Role: 

The Manager SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting is responsible for the day-to-day financial reporting process, including the timely and accurate preparation of SEC filings.  In addition, the Manager provides technical accounting guidance to ensure conformity with GAAP/SEC/IFRS guidance as well as established faraday policies. Reporting to the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, the Manager helps present financial information for SEC filings, potential investors, creditors and other users to allow them to make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual SEC filings including financial statement footnotes, schedules and MD&A, including all supporting documentation.
• Preparation of audit files, compliance reporting and statutory reporting as well as any other supporting documentation required.

Your Role:

The Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting directly manages the SEC financial reporting function, including timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual filings (10-K, 10-Q), assisting with Form 8-K, proxy filings and earnings reports and oversight of stock-based compensation accounting.  The Director also provides technical accounting guidance to ensure conformity with GAAP/SEC/IFRS guidance for complex transactions and helps establish Faraday Future’s accounting policies. The Director will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and will be an integral member of the company’s corporate governance function. 

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and lead the SEC and Financial Reporting process, including the documentation, preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual SEC filings including financial statement footnotes, schedules and MD&A
• Help represent the organization with external auditors, providing necessary documentation for SEC filings., compliance reporting and statutory reporting, as applicable
• Assist the Chief Accounting Officer in designing all Faraday Future accounting policies including, Revenue Recognition, Leasing, Inventory, etc.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance and accounting department as needed.

The Tax Strategy & Planning Lead is a technical accounting expert, understands the business and aligns with the functional teams to identify new transactions or changes to the business that will have an accounting impact, perform technical accounting research, communicate to the teams and management the accounting impact and document in a memorandum. The Tax Accounting Manager plays a leadership role in the SOX compliance implementation project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the Company's U.S. quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures, including computation of book to tax differences, tracking of deferred taxes inventory, and supporting tasks related to ASC 740-10 (FIN48).
• Assist in the management of all aspects of income tax compliance including the preparation and timely filing of the consolidated federal income tax return.
• Assist in tax forecasts with multiple scenarios to aid planning and decision making.
• Prepare quarterly income tax estimated and extensions.
• Review fixed asset subledgers and tax depreciation.
• Research tax issues, review legislative developments and evaluate the impact including tax reform.
• Support in the management of tax audits.
• Assist the implementation of proper internal controls and record retention policies to comply with government regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience including as a Controller
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field
• Previous experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or tier 2 firm
• Proficient with technology, SAP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Active CPA designation is required
• Manufacturing/consumer electronics industry experience is a must have.

This role combines plant-level cost accounting and operational analysis with broader corporate accounting functions, including compliance, audit support, and financial close management. Travel required quarterly to the plant facility in Hanford, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations & Cost Accounting

• Support the Corporate Controller in maintaining a strong system of internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring integrity of plant financial transactions.
• Support the Cost Accountant in managing inventory accuracy and cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory valuation (LCM), and reconciliation of fixed assets with the General Ledger.”
• Analyze plant operating costs in detail and recommend actions to improve profitability and ROI.

Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting schedules to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
