FanDuel is seeking a Commercial Operations Senior Associate to work on our New Venture, Prediction Markets. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a team in formation looking to make a big impact in the Prediction Market space. The role will focus on supporting operational excellence across all areas, working with a wide variety of teams to help deliver a brilliant customer experience.

The Senior Associate will work closely with the Commercial Director and Commercial Manager to support the execution of our operational plans and strategy. You will help coordinate relationships with our B2B partner and contribute to change initiatives.

A successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused, with an ability to identify operational improvements and support the team in delivering our plans. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data to inform decisions are essential.

• Operational Support: Be a key stakeholder in the delivery of the operational plan across FanDuel Predicts, working with central business teams and the B2B partner to deliver operational excellence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across FanDuel verticals to support understanding and successful execution of our operational plans
• Customer Insights: Develop knowledge of customer behaviors and how to influence customer experience outcomes. Support analysis of customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement
• Experimentation & Testing: Support the experimentation roadmap across the product experience, working with marketing and product teams to test and learn
• Performance Tracking: Work with the commercial team to track business performance against key metrics. Help identify trends and support reporting to stakeholders

• Customer Experience: Act as a point of contact for customer experience improvements and operational feedback
• Data Querying: Be able to quickly fetch data requests and queries to support the operational day to day running of the business

• Minimum 3 years' experience in analytical, commercial, or operations-focused roles, ideally across online/tech sectors

About the team. The Sportsbook Strategy & Performance Insights team serves as the single source of truth for the online sportsbook business performance at FanDuel. Our mission is to elevate the analytical rigor of the sportsbook, delivering insights that inform strategy, optimize investments, and drive growth. • Deliver performance insights. Provide clear, data-driven perspectives on sportsbook performance, customer behavior, and market trends to stakeholders across the Commercial Sportsbook organization. • Support tentpole sporting events. Support analytical deep dives and opportunity sizing for marquee sporting moments, ensuring cross-team readiness and real-time performance tracking. • Performance storytelling and analytical rigor. Help translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive decision-making at the leadership level. The applicable salary range for this position is $90,000-$112,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. FanDuel is looking for an Analytics Senior Manager to work closely with the Analytics Director and other strategic owners to further strengthen and optimize our customer marketing analytics capabilities. They will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement – and clearly communicating information and recommendations to support continuous progress. This high-impact role will interface with many areas of the organization across Commercial, Marketing, and Analytics, and manage key initiatives to unlock step-change business improvements. 

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

• Performance Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and opportunities areas. Use this information to make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing strategies.
• Marketing Insights & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Regularly report on performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose adjustments as needed.
• Automation: Provide support for CRM target selections via automated tools and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, commercial and analytics teams to ensure appropriate prioritization and seamless execution of strategies. Provide strategic guidance and insights to all stakeholders to support the growth of the business.
• Project Management: Lead and manage key analytics initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical, technical or commercial field preferred with 2+ years of management experience
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel required
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, A/B testing, and experimental design
• Demonstrated experience using data visualization software to convey analysis in an easy to digest format. Preferred experience working with Tableau for data visualization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - demonstrable track record of influencing up, down and across organizations
• Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
