You will create an open financial system and enable decentralized networks to flourish. The largest financial institutions from Wall Street to Silicon Valley and around the world will turn to you for the best market prices and insights into the crypto industry. You will become the expert on crypto industry trends and market movements. 

You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the client segment, including client dynamics & challenges, needs from the sales team, as well as a working knowledge of the products and solutions that are a focus within that client segment. You will also play a critical role in helping understand data and digital components, measuring the success of our marketing outreach, understanding trends, and tying marketing engagement to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

• Significantly grow our Institutional business by scaling the number of clients and revenue
• Managing and servicing a list of designated clients, or your ‘Book of Business’, as their primary point of contact. This includes:
• Inbound inquiries from the Client segment as well as working with the sales teams on converting outbound leads
• Building long-term relationships with your clients and provide ongoing relationship servicing current clients to enable up-sell / cross-sell opportunities and ensure they are satisfied
• Demonstrate a proactive mindset, constantly thinking ahead and anticipating client needs and/or concerns, while keeping their business goals top-of-mind
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of the client segment in designated region and execute the business strategy surrounding it
• Understand the product offerings in the marketplace and assess the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain our clients
• Assess client satisfaction and extract key business needs/issues
• Achieve quarterly target metrics and KPIs established by management
• Align with leadership regularly to discuss and optimize strategy and share customer feedback across functions

Required Qualifications

• MBA degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in a Corporate Relationship Management role at a Bank, Fintech/Financial services or in the Asset management industry
• Superior service skills/"client first" approach resulting in strong customer loyalty, ability to service customers in the given region and being flexible as the role evolves
• An interest in the digital asset space and enthusiasm about FalconX’s products and business model
• Working knowledge in any major asset class (Fixed Income, Forex, Equities, Commodities) and front office experience in handling Spot and derivatives products in any of these asset classes
• Ability to represent the company’s culture and values to our institutional counterparties

Senior Institutional Sales Executive

Impact

We are looking to hire a Institutional Sales Executive. This individual will mentor the sales team & drive success across the segment. This position is responsible for transitioning existing institutional clients from single-service users into holistic partners by identifying opportunities across the full product suite. This role will be tasked with working with large complex clients, constantly raising the bar for success, and continuously establishing deep customer relationships, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Optimization: Execute sophisticated account management strategies to deepen the footprint within the existing institutional client base.
• Service Integration: Identify and qualify opportunities for clients to utilize additional FalconX services, with a primary focus on driving adoption of custody, credit and lending solutions.
• Relationship Orchestration: Establish and maintain lasting relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers through proactive consultation.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with leadership to ensure sales deliverables and account growth strategies align with broader business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Institutional Coverage and Product teams to deliver exemplary client satisfaction and integrated service delivery.
• Market Presence: Research and attend relevant industry conferences to represent the firm and strengthen institutional ties.

Requirements

• Experience: 2- 5+ years of relevant experience in institutional finance, with 1-2 years of experience in a crypto or digital assets related role preferred. 
• Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of various cryptocurrencies, underlying blockchain technology, and the evolving global regulatory landscape.
• Market Expertise: Proven proficiency in equity sales, derivatives, and hedge fund structures.
• Negotiation & Communication: Remarkable negotiation skills and the ability to succinctly relay complex value propositions to sophisticated stakeholders.
• Operational Excellence: Ability to administer large, complex client accounts with superior attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Mindset: A sales-minded, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented approach to business development.
• Product Fluency: Familiarity with the FalconX product ecosystem, specifically trading and prime brokerage services.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with an expected annual base compensation of $128,000 to $175,000 here in New York City. The actual compensation for a successful candidate may vary based on factors such as skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.  This position also offers other forms of compensation and benefits consisting of overtime compensation (when applicable), relocation assistance (if applicable), performance-linked bonus, paid time off (including sick time) benefits, paid Company holidays, participation in the Company’s equity and 401k retirement plan, competitive employee health, dental, and vision benefits each subject to the terms and conditions of the governing plan documents and Company policies.
