The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. While coupling the industry’s latest technologies and fairlife's operational excellence to build this world-class facility, fairlife plans to hire 250 new employees and bring in approximately 5 million lbs. of milk a day, with room to grow over the coming years.
shift schedule:
12 Hour Nights: This is a night shift position, with hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Shift Differential of $2 per hour for night shift.
Job Purpose:
Assists in compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal controls over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas in manufacturing, warehousing (internal and third party), and DC operations.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to best practices for food safety and quality, along with promoting the fairlife culture of Believe in Better.
- Coordinate the flow of materials and trailers throughout the shipping and receiving operation, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Accurately complete all shipping/receiving documentation, ensuring food safety and quality are prioritized in all actions.
- Utilize Yard Management Software to execute trailer moved and driver communication.
- Accurate receipt confirmations from suppliers, accurate data entry of receipts, accurate shipping documentation of outgoing material to customers, and organized filing of manifests, certificates of authenticity, and bills of lading.
- Communicate and maintain flow of contracted shuttle service to outside warehouses if applicable
- Assist shift supervisor and lead to ensure daily goals are met.
- Be Audit Ready: Have floors, drains, cooler, and posts cleaned as needed.
- Coordinate outbound and inbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in our 112,000 sq ft racked storage, and 90,000 sq ft high density ASRS.
- Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies.
- Respond to email correspondence regarding appointment scheduling, routine warehouse questions, and coordination of Powered Industrial Fleet maintenance requests.
- Verify daily yard checks and call out any concerns.
- Assist with common shipping issues and problem solving.
- Communicate with planning and logistics regarding carrier or load issues to ensure expedient resolution.
- Maintain accurate filing system of controlled documents.
- Assist Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Manager with data collection.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with professional demeanor.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS) and preferred D365 and SAP experience. Any Yard Management Software experience is a plus.
- Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments based on broad directions with minimal supervision.
- Desired 3 to 5 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- 12 hours sitting/standing/walking. Position will start off with 8hr shifts, with a gradual ramp up to a 12hr 2-2-3 schedule at steady state.
- Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
- Reaching/bending frequently (Re wrap and re stack pallets as needed by hand)
- Exposure to hazards (Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jack, Scissor lift, Pallet wrap machine)
- Temperatures from 34 degrees to 77 degrees

- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

job purpose: The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, and completing necessary paperwork in a clear and accurate manner. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, they will execute the day-to-day functions to support the plant and maintain their work area in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition.

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of the powered industrial fleet and other warehouse equipment with internal and external support.
- Accurate receipt confirmations from suppliers, accurate data entry of receipts, accurate shipping documentation of outgoing material to customers, and organized filing of manifests, certificates of authenticity, and bills of lading.
- Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
- Be Audit Ready: Have floors, drains, cooler, and posts cleaned as needed.
- Coordinate outbound and inbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in our 112,000 sq ft racked storage, and 90,000 sq ft high density ASRS
- Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies
- Take inventory of consumable supplies daily ensuring that we have sufficient quantities
- Will participate in cycle count program
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
skills/qualifications required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience (food and beverage experience a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with handheld RF Scanner
- Experience with powered industrial equipment
- Basic Computer/data entry skills (WMS experience a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work different shifts including off shifts
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing

Responsible for the full goods Put Away of all products off of the palletizers and supplies for finished goods. Assists with other Warehouse operational activities, as time allows, such as receiving of raw materials, loading dunnage trailers, Case Pick, Finished Goods Load out, inventory cycle counting, chemical receiving and miscellaneous other duties.

- Ability to safely operate a variety of forklifts.
- Put Away all product palletized from the palletizers in the proper location in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintain proper First In and First Out rotation of the products, inventory of supplies, and of assigned items.
- See that all Finished Goods orders are properly shipped, all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and computer documentation has been registered.
- Check incoming full goods orders and determine if there is enough inventory to cover the orders. If not, consult with management and determine what action should be taken.
- See that all case pick orders are properly, accurately picked and shipped, all necessary paperwork is properly and accurately filled out and computer documentation has been registered.
- Check incoming dry and raw material orders and determine inventory placement of the materials in their proper locations. If no space is available, consult with management and determine what action should be taken.
- Assure that the warehouse stays clean and orderly at all times. Routinely follows the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure this cleaning is complete.
- Ensure all supplies and inventory items remain 18” from the walls.
- Ensure the warehouse remains Audit Ready at all times.
- Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.
- Assisting the palletizer operator with loading pallets to ensure consistent, non interrupted operation of the palletizer.
- Keep management personnel up to date on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.
- Confirm product quality with Quality Assurance Department prior to shipping if product is being expedited and has not passed the release protocol.
- Assure that all products meet customer requirements.
- Inspects all trailers prior to loading. Trailers must be clean and free of any foreign debris. Do not load any damaged products or damaged trailers.
- Ensure all dock locks are engaged onto the trailer ICC bars and / or the wheels are chocked.
- Keep the entire warehouse and receiving area clear of debris and clean.
- Responsible for removal of manufacturing refuse material from the production floor.
- Aid in the training of new personnel.
- Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sitting/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Carrying: The Warehouse Operator stands throughout their shift and sits approximately one quarter of their shift while operating an industrial truck. The warehouse operator walks on uneven concrete and tile surfaces. The Warehouse Operator lifts up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis and 80 pounds on occasional basis. Two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 80 pounds.
Pushing/Pulling/Bending/Stooping: The Warehouse Operator occasionally pushes/pulls filled bags when re-stacking a pallet. The Warehouse Operator pushes/pulls while using brooms and dust mops during cleanup duties. The Warehouse Operator bends and stoops occasionally throughout the workday for varying lengths of time.
Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling/Twisting/Turning: The Warehouse Operator may squat to pick up product from the floor, or during various cleanup duties. Occasional slight twisting and turning at the waist when sampling powder, or when re-stacking pallets.
Climbing/Balancing/Reaching: Warehouse Operator steps on and off the industrial truck. The Warehouse Operator reaches below and/or above shoulder level when removing or adding bags to a pallet.
Grasping/Manipulation: Frequent use of the hands and fingers is required.
