The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Cell Product Development who will be responsible for Factorial's next generation cell product development and cell technology. This is a full-time, on-site position based in South Korea. The successful candidate will assume a cell engineering and development role joining Factorial's team in South Korea. Responsibilities include managing multiple cell design teams, each of which is responsible for developing a different cell, and finalizing the design for handoff to manufacturing. Duties for this position include defining the cell bill of materials, cell drawing, and ensuring that the cell achieves all requirements. The preferred candidate will have a track record of product development, an understanding of Tier-1 automotive, the battery industry, as well as the research community. The candidate will also have a history of leading and developing strong teams of scientists and engineers. This position will report to the engineering division of Factorial Energy.

The Opportunity
Factorial is looking for an All-Solid-State Battery Anode Wet & SE Slurry Coating Process Engineer responsible for the wet slurry coating process and equipment development for anode and sulfide-based solid electrolyte (SE) applications. We leverage cutting-edge wet electrode manufacturing to revolutionize all-solid-state battery performance, cost, and scalability. This role requires experience in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners. This candidate will be involved from the beginning of process optimization for R&D projects, pilot line scale-up, and through to low/high-volume production. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate efficient communication between various departments/vendors.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Manager / Sr. Manager / Director, Process Development who will lead the equipment engineering and process development function for Factorial’s whole-cell FEST manufacturing operations in South Korea. Own the full lifecycle of FEST cell-process equipment — concept, design, pilot-line deployment, production ramp, and standardization — and partner with cell product development, manufacturing, quality, and R&D to translate breakthroughs into scalable, production-ready processes.

We are seeking a motivated Cell Test Engineer with more than 4 years of experience in cell testing to support our rapidly growing solid-state battery development company. This role will be responsible for cell testing validation, protocol development, data processing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in cell testing, and capable of interpreting test plans, and collaborating with the development team to complete cell qualifications.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior / Staff Power Cell Development Engineer who will be responsible for Factorial’s next-generation cell product development and cell technology. The successful candidate will assume a cell engineering and development role and join Factorial’s team in South Korea. This role will execute new platform development for silicon-based drone cells and LMB power cells in accordance with the technical roadmap, including material, formula, and process evaluations to enable product realisation. The role involves designing cell products according to customer requirements and validating performance, including electrochemical and safety performance, while driving continuous optimization. The engineer will lead NPI activities and be responsible for preparing and releasing all related documentation, including BOMs, DFMEAs, and a sample-building index. The role will participate in technical discussions with customers related to new product development programs and support battery material development, including cathodes (high-nickel NMC), anodes (graphite with silicon-based materials and lithium metal), separators, binders, and current collector foils, while also supporting other internal departments on cell product–related technical issues.
