What You’ll Do

• Maintain and improve our identity-server — a Python/FastAPI service that handles Okta SSO authentication, JWT token signing, RBAC via Okta groups, and user redirect routing
• Configure and manage Okta across SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM provisioning, MFA/Adaptive Auth, Workflows, and Lifecycle Management
• Support multi-IDP federation — connecting external identity providers into our Okta tenant
• Fix user provisioning and deprovisioning delays, automate manual access management workflows
• Address security gaps in access controls and conduct access reviews
• Maintain and extend CLI tooling for Okta user management (user search, group management, bulk assignment, role migration)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management engineering
• Deep Okta expertise - both admin console configuration and programmatic integration via Okta APIs/SDKs
• Hands-on experience with SSO protocols (SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0) and federation architectures
• Production experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) for building identity/auth services (other language is also acceptable)
• Working knowledge of Terraform for managing IAM infrastructure as code
• Experience with SCIM provisioning for automated user lifecycle management
• Comfortable working independently as the sole IAM owner - you define problems and drive solutions without hand-holding
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and/or HIPAA compliance requirements as they relate to access controls

What You’ll Do

• Manage and scale our Azure environment. Implement CI/CD pipelines and utilize (IaC) to automate platform deployments and updates
• Part of the strategic migration from legacy systems (Okta, Saviynt, On-Prem AD) to a consolidated Microsoft Entra ID architecture
• Own the backend for Endpoint Management (Intune), SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring high availability and security
• Act as the technical lead for Microsoft Teams Administration, including telephony integration and global email flow
• Work independently to identify platform gaps, propose technical solutions, and execute migrations with a focus on long-term scalability

What You Bring

• Solid experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates/Bicep or Terraform, and automation via PowerShell
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. Experience with Okta Workflows or Saviynt is highly desirable for migration purposes
• Advanced administration of Teams (including Voice/Telephony), Exchange Online, and SharePoint
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and compliance policy management
• Knowledge in managing Copilot backend settings, data privacy, and tenant-level AI configurations
• You can pivot quickly during complex migrations and are confident in making technical decisions that impact the entire enterprise

About the Client  

The company has been building solutions for mobile apps, effortless payment, business travel, and advertising since 1992. The customer is developing a mobility platform that allows operators to manage their vehicles and drivers efficiently, regulators to be informed and establish guidelines, service providers to deliver sustainable solutions, and riders to have an effortless transit experience.

Project Team

The project is a taxi ordering service and it contains the following components:

• Ride server (all data processing)
• Payment server (PCI DSS-compliant), which performs a transaction with the passenger's digital wallet and payment gateways
• Mobile application (hail taxi, geocoding, map, payments)
• Taxi terminal (3rd party)

The project integrates with 3rd party services, including PayPal, MasterPass, Stripe, and Twilio.

The team itself consists of 1 Team Lead, 1 UI Developers, 6 Back-End Developers, 9 Mobile Developers, 5 QA, 2 BA and 2 Designer.

What You’ll Do  

• Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable distributed systems
• Improve system availability, performance, and resilience
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes
• Diagnose and resolve production issues
• Lead upgrades and migrations with minimal or zero downtime
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve operability

What You Bring  

• 7+ years of experience, specializing in Kubernetes and AWS
• Strong programming skills in Java, with willingness to learn Ruby
• Solid understanding of concurrency, runtime behavior, and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads
• Strong Kubernetes expertise (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, Helm, troubleshooting, autoscaling)
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, CloudWatch)
• Experience designing infrastructure for high availability and disaster recovery
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, Pulsar, etc.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including query optimization, replication, and failover strategies
• Familiarity with NoSQL and in-memory databases (Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, capacity planning, and fault tolerance
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry)
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, load balancing)
• Experience with SRE practices, including SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, load testing, resilience testing, and incident management
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
• Calm and effective during incidents with an ownership mindset

• Manage and oversee release processes for applications and services

What You Bring 

• Strong experience as a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer operating production systems at scale
• Proven +4 years hands-on expertise with AWS, especially multi-account environments and organizational governance
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform (modules, state management, guardrails)
• Solid experience running and operating EKS and/or ECS in production
• Strong background in CI/CD, GitHub-based workflows, and secure deployment patterns (OIDC, least privilege)
• Experience designing developer platforms and internal tooling for self-service and standardization
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, SCPs, permissions boundaries, and secure networking
• Monitoring, logging, alerting, SLOs, and incident handling
• Hands-on development experience, allowing you to collaborate closely with application teams and design pragmatic platform contracts
