Who We’re Looking For
Our exceptional team of licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of VERG. We are looking for an Anesthesia Technician to add to our growing Anesthesia department. Our Anesthesia Technicians support all departments throughout our large specialty and emergency hospital, coordinating care with our board-certified Anesthesiologists to ensure every procedure is set up for success. We’re in a growth phase and are looking for the best of the best to join us!

What You Can Expect To Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll support cases in Critical Care, Emergency, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, and Neurology. You’ll collaborate closely with our specialists and emergency clinicians to develop and implement tailored anesthetic plans that prioritize patient well-being and safety as they undergo medical and surgical procedures and diagnostic testing under sedation or general anesthesia.
This role offers the flexibility of a 4-day workweek! This schedule ensures excellent coverage for our specialty services and emergency surgical procedures while also providing a 3-day off period for our hardworking team!
Qualifications
Our ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills. We’re also looking for those with an advanced technical skill set that includes familiarity with anesthetic protocols, pain management, surgical procedures, and it’s a huge plus if the candidate has a preexisting skill set for placing triple lumens, arterial lines for IBP, and CVP's. You should be comfortable with the fluidity of supporting different departments, doctors and technicians, and someone who enjoys educating others (including our intern doctors) around anesthesia and its essential role in our daily operations.

As an oncology technician, you will work alongside experienced Medical Oncologists and other compassionate veterinary professionals, playing a vital role in diagnosing and treating cancer using advanced tools such as ultrasound, biopsies, cytology, and radiology, while administering or assisting with chemotherapy and palliative treatments to help our patients live their best lives.
As a member of the Oncology team, you will play a vital role in supporting pets and their parents through their cancer journey. In this role, you will provide comprehensive chemotherapy and treatment support by safely administering chemotherapy, closely monitoring patients for adverse effects, and educating clients on post-treatment care. You will oversee oncology patients throughout their treatment, delivering pain management and supportive care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
What You Have
Our ideal candidates have a positive attitude, are motivated, compassionate, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. We’re especially interested in individuals with 1 - 2 years experience in oncology or internal medicine. You should feel confident adapting to evolving patient needs, collaborating with multiple services, and building relationships with pet owners.

This role offers the flexibility of a 3-day workweek, with shifts available from 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 12p–12a, or 2p–2a. This schedule supports comprehensive emergency coverage while providing our dedicated team with a four-day break each week.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. We’re especially interested in individuals with experience in intensive monitoring, emergency triage, ventilator support, post-op recovery of critical patients, and placing advanced lines (e.g., central venous catheters, arterial lines for invasive blood pressure, and CVPs). You should feel confident adapting to evolving patient needs, collaborating with multiple services, and educating intern doctors and peers on ECC protocols and best practices.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll work closely with ER/ECC doctors, fellow technicians, and assistants to provide high-quality, emergent care.
